Great support from check in hosts. Aircon and lights on when we arrived which was appreciated. Well appointed and close to town. Would have loved more seating on front porch for a family group to take in early morning birds! Wonderful stay. Thanks!
Perfect location a few mins walk from the Main Street and close to the EPIC MTB trail (the reason for our trip). Clean and tidy throughout - we really enjoyed our stay!
We did several bnbs on our road trip and this place was a stand-up.
Incredible location, old world charm yet modern conveniences and our bordoodle absolutely loved the yard.
Yes the house was very comfortable and clean. It had that Beautiful old feel about it that i just love. And it was super close to town to be able to walk. Thank you for a lovely stay definitely would book again sometime. Jo

Thank you so much Jo and Mark for your lovely review! Allen street is gorgeous,
We hope to have you back one day.
Take care.
Good property, good location, however should be mentioned that there are some steps inside a bit difficult for elderly people.

Hi Walter.
We are so happy that you enjoyed your time at Allen St - we are very grateful for your feedback and rating.
I just went into the listing to mention that there are steps but it does already state it. It's so hard to read through everything though - I fully understand it could be missed. I'm so sorry if this has caused any problems for you.

The house at Allen Street provided the perfect location for a 3-generations family stay. Lots of room and particularly nice to have a yard for a toddler to enjoy.

Nandini we are thrilled you enjoyed your time at Allen St. We would be very happy to have you return if you're ever in Beechworth.
The Allen st property was a great choice for our adult family. The beds were comfy and house warm. The yard was great for our dog and the property was an easy walk to town. The kitchen provided all the necessary food. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Thank you Jill. It was a pleasure to have you all in our beautiful town and our sweet home - Allen Street. We would love to have you all back one day.
Great property especially if you have a dog
Easy walk into the town but still feels like you are away from the tourist side
Great house for its age - heater worked well !!
Highly recommend
Great property with everything you need. Short walk to town, lots of condiments and basics in the kitchen that you don’t have to bring yourself and a good heater to warm the house on chilly nights.
A very cute cottage style house with lovely gardens and fantastic location. Our little family had a really nice time exploring Beechworth and relaxing at ‘home’, the only problem being; it was to short a stay! We’ll definitely be back, and for longer next time!

Adam we are delighted you had such a lovely stay at Allen St. It's one of our most loved properties! You're all welcome back any time!
It was a beautiful, peaceful home so close to town that we could walk to everything. We enjoyed the decor, books, and music that our hosts kindly left for us. Our chihuahuas especially loved the enclosed backyard. We will stay here again!
Lovely cottage close to Beechworth, walking distance to the main street. The house was charming, well presented, everything we needed was there. We will book again.

Christoph thank you for such a lovely review - it was so nice to have you stay and we would be more than happy to have you back again.
The property was as described, however, remember to bring a dressing gown and slippers if staying during the cooler months. A trip to the toilet is a cold experience. Our bed was not so comfortable. Location was great and access to the Rail trail provided a good walk. The house is conveniently located near town and features a spacious yard ideal for dogs. The driveway gate needs repairing.
This charming old home on a huge block is in a perfect location. Short walk into town, short walk to Lake Samball, the Asylum just up the road and central to any day trips or short drives you may wish to do. Our 3 dogs loved the secure and spacious yard. A couple of amenities within the house which were not available and would be useful given the wet weather - a clothes dryer and a mop - otherwise very well appointed. I like to leave properties tidy and clean. Thank you for a great property to enjoy.

Thanks so much Shirlene, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Looking forward to hosting you in Beechworth again sometime.
Did not like TV…no instructions given on how to use it. Code to access key at front very difficult to see..needed a torch at 3PM ..
Property in great location ..easily able to walk to main Beechworth precinct.Loved autumn colours in gardens
The property was very clean and in great proximity to the town, lake, walking tracks etc. It's a nice, tidy property with lots of room for your furry friends. There was just a couple of things that we felt needed attention - the curtains in the bedrooms weren't adequate, one was very thin and see through and the other was only half a curtain so didn't even cover the window. There was also no instructions for the oven, coffee machine etc - just basic things that help when staying somewhere unfamiliar. Otherwise the property is fine for a short break away.

Hi Jo,
thank you for your comments. We have never been made aware of there being no instructions - that is so hard for you. We will get that sorted as soon as we can.
The curtains are #1 on our list of things to do as soon as the owners are able to get here. They have had to cancel their own bookings about 4 times (they live in Canberra) so haven't been able to sort it. They were booked in to see the curtain people the first time they got cancelled.
Just very difficult times at the moment but these will get sorted as soon as possible.
Hope to see you again - you were great guests.
