About this property
Blue Retreat - 10min walk to the beach, Ducted & Heating
Our peaceful and comfortable home sleeps 6 with ample living space and a spacious garden. A 10-minute stroll brings you to the beautiful beaches and clear waters of Geographe Bay, while a 5-minute drive drops you in the centre of Busselton, with its iconic jetty, diverse shops and numerous amenities. The attractions of Dunsborough, Yallingup and Margaret River – stunning caves, spectacular beaches and indulgent wineries – are all an easy 30-40 minute drive away.
Living areas
The open-plan main living area has been newly decorated and is comfortably furnished: the well-stocked kitchen includes microwave, oven, gas hob, dishwasher and a full set of cooking and baking utensils. The dining table comfortably seats six and the house is well supplied with plenty of plates, bowls, mugs and glasses (including plastic sets and child-sized cutlery).
The seating area is furnished with two sofas, atmospheric lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled music system and a range of books and board games for you to enjoy. Or just crack open a good bottle of local wine and chill!
The second living area has a 50” smart TV, DVD player (bring your favourites with you) and two snuggly sofas: park the kids in here while you enjoy some peace next door or settle down for a family movie night, popcorn optional!
Bedrooms and bathrooms
The large main bedroom has ample space to spread out and relax: a queen bed, seating area and walk-in robes plus a newly-renovated en-suite with shower, basin and toilet.
The light-filled second and third bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed and two single beds respectively, conveniently located near the newly-renovated family bathroom, which contains bath, shower and basin plus separate toilet. Fitted wardrobes, plenty of hangers and sets of drawers provide ample storage throughout.
Both bathrooms contain heated towel rails and heat lights for the cooler months, and are supplied with hairdryers. There is reverse cycle deducted heating/cooling throughout the whole home to keep you comfortable all year round.
A travel cot, highchair and changing mat are also supplied – but please bring your own cot linen.
Laundry
In the laundry, you will find extra blankets and bedcovers, a washing machine, drier, iron and ironing board, plus pegs for the rotary clothesline outside.
All linen and bath towels are provided, plus basics like shampoo, shower gel and hand soap. Please bring beach towels with you if required.
Outside
The alfresco includes an 8-burner BBQ with dining table for 6-8 and a large enclosed, secure garden for the kids to run around in. If they are in season, feel free to help yourself to lemons, rosemary, thyme and mint!
Basic Guest starter kit supplied (approx 2 days worth of toilet paper, kitchen supplies etc)
HOUSE RULES
NO LEAVERS ALLOWED- PLEASE DO NOT APPLY
-Noise restrictions apply after 9pm week days and 10pm weekends.
No noise must be heard from the property after these hours.
-Noise level must be kept at an acceptable level at all times, the neighbours
should not be able to hear music or "rowdy" behaviour coming from the
house.
-No extra guests/people are permitted at the property due to local licensing requirements. This includes children. Maximum of 6 people allowed.
-Maximum of 2 cars allowed to be parked at the property.
PETS
Pets are only permitted at pet-friendly properties with the prior consent of the Manager( small NON SHEDDING dogs only). Medium-Large breeds are not allowed at the property. The following must be adhered to:
No cats, rabbits or birds allowed.
Dogs must be a minimum of 2 years old, no puppies accepted.
Pets are to be kept under control at all times. Pets must not be left unsupervised or alone at the property at any time. If going out, it is required by local shire legislation that you take dogs with you, so they don't bark when alone in an unknown environment. Property neighbours may call the property manager and local ranger if the dog is barking.
The guest is responsible for any damage caused by pets, inside or outside of the property. If extra cleaning is required this will be charge to the guest.
Pets are not permitted to bedrooms or on the furniture at any time. Charges will apply for cleaning of furniture/bedding/carpets where applicable.
Guests agree to bring their own pet bedding, food bowls and other pet items to the property as, unless specified these items will not be available at the property.
