The apartment has a totally new bathroom, re-tilled, new shower, toilet and vanity washbasin. Two new A/C units have been installed to ensure your comfort on those very hot Jamaican days and nights. The kitchen has been fully refitted with a new cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The Kitchen is fully equipped; you can be adventurous and try to replicate the delicious and varied culinary delights that are Jamaican cuisine or you can just bung a pizza in the oven; the choice is yours!
Internet Wifi, Smart TV and a Bluetooth HiFi system is also included to complete your stay.

The apartment and Ocho Rios is the perfect base for the independent traveller, it will offer you the opportunity to relax in a secure and safe oasis before exploring ‘Ochi’ and the rest of Jamaica tantalising and beckoning you just beyond the security gates.
If it is the busy hustle and bustle of a Jamaican town you are yearning for then this is the destination you are looking for. However, when you close the door and venture to the balcony overlooking Ocho Rios Bay Beach then the stunning beauty of pure white sands, clear blue water that only the Caribbean can offer; the sounds of busy town is drowned out by the gentle lapping of the waves caressing the gentle slopes of the beach can be the antidote. This apartment and location can provide you with both types of holiday.

The apartment is also my home when I’m in Jamaica and the changes I have made are designed to reflect my simple, clear and minimalist view to living. You can treat the apartment as an island refuge away from your busy life back home or the base for hedonistic getaway, allowing you to sample the multiple pleasures that only Jamaica can offer!

When I am in a reflective mood, I often sit on the balcony with a cup of blue mountain coffee, or if I am in a deeply reflective mood I sit with a brandy and Cigar watching the antics on the beach. The coming and goings of the glass bottom boat , the noisy and frantic activity on the Chukka katamaran party boat or the bizarre view of someone on a rubber ring screaming while being pulled at suicide speed behind a speedboat!!
From the balcony you also have a view of the marina and a grandstand view of the Ocean Liners that sedately glide into the bay with a grace that absolutely defies their size. These mini cities on water regularly dock to discharge the thousands of tourist that add to the vibrant life that only Ochi can offer.

Location, Location, Location
Situated in the heart of Ocho Rios, a few minutes walk from numerous restaurants, shops, casino, cinema and various attractions. The apartment is located adjacent to the entertainment delights of Island Village: you can visit these websites and explore for yourself: ( , Margarettaville ( and the newly renovated Fisherman’s village.

The Knutsford Bus station is also located within in Island Village complex (three minutes walk away from the apartment) - allowing direct journeys to and from Montego Bay airport , (Kingston Airport requires a change in Kingston) and journeys to all the major towns and cities of Jamaica.
For the more adventurous traveller, I can organise a private car hire (fully insured) at rates well below the corporate rates. Driving on Jamaican roads is a challenge for the novice and expect the un-expected from the ubiquitous taxi drivers but the rewards of being free to see the real Jamaica far out-weighs the heart-thumping moments that make you appreciate being alive!

And how could I forget that the world famous attractions of Dunn’s River Falls, Mystic Mountain and Dolphin Cove which are only a short taxi drive away from the apartment.
