Location

The Kadenwood neighbourhood is perched on the south side of Whistler Mountain, high above Whistler Creekside, and is easily accessible by road or 5 minutes by private gondola from the base of Creekside. Kadenwood provides easy access to ski-in/ski-out trails on the edge of an old-growth forest and offers astounding Coastal Range views.

Kadenwood Gondola

All Kadenwood guests have access to a private gondola, this will take you on a 4-minute ride directly to the Creekside Village, leading to shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and the Creekside Gondola for slope access. There is a small parking area at the top of Kadenwood Gondola to make transporting people and sports equipment very easy and convenient. It takes a 3-minute walk to reach the gondola from this property. View gondola operating hours here.

Ski Information

Ski out directly from the rear entrance of this property via a ski access trail that leads to the 'Lower Peak to Creek Trail’. This will lead to the base of the Creekside Gondola. The access trails are narrow and more suited for intermediate skiers. For beginners, we recommend taking the 3-minute walk to the Kadenwood Gondola and making your way to Creekside from there.
Ski in straight from the hill to the access point at the top of the Kadenwood Gondola by following the ‘Kadenwood’ trail. It is a 3-minute walk or 1-minute drive back to the property from here

Ski-in ski-out access is dependent on weather conditions and snowfall. Ski access typically begins in late December and ends in March. The Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.

Things to Know

Air Conditioning. Each bedroom has a separate air-conditioning unit that helps reduce the inside temperature in the summer months. The common living areas are not air-conditioned.
Kadenwood Construction. The homesite adjacent to Kadenwood 2972 is being cleared for construction. As one of the newer neighbourhoods in Whistler, several homes remain under construction in Kadenwood. Construction is most active from May to October and is permitted from 8 am - 8 pm. Guests may experience construction noise from heavy machinery, cranes, other construction-related vehicles, and workers. During the summer months, we include a construction discount at the time of booking as compensation for any disturbances guests may experience.

Great home - would stay again
Great place to stay but could use some minor improvements to make it absolutely perfect. Steep driveway was not optimally shovelled upon arrival but guest services was very quick to respond. Great home with two primary bedrooms makes it great for sharing. Loved the small family room open to kitchen/great room - perfect for keeping kids close. Ski in was perfect for getting out on the hill - even our newly intermediate kid skiers could do it! Main family room has a rug that sheds a lot, which made daily vacuuming necessary. Easy fix should they switch it out. We would definitely stay her again.
