Great Stay

We were visiting Whidbey for a dear friend’s celebration of life. This cottage was perfect, close to the venue, clean, quiet, and well equipped. One of the most well done vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. They thought of everything. It was a lovely stay.

Sweet little bungalow

Though a little off the beaten track, we loved this sweet little bungalow. It was a perfect size for me, my daughter & my granddaughter. In addition to the usual amenities, we especially appreciated the extra little touches--slippers & robes, charging stations, dimmer lights. This house also had the best library of books that I've ever seen!

We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay while on the island. I’m a frequent visitor to Whidbey, but usually stay with family. I wanted something close to them and this listing fit the bill. I’ve never stayed in such a well-appointed place. The house is modern, clean, and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. They thought of everything. The owner was responsive to one small issue about the Wi-Fi, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Green Door house.

Tranquility, wildlife, solitude!

We spent a few days at this beautiful property and I can't say enough. The cottage is simply stunning and much attention to detail went into this conversion. The beds are so comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning. There are two decks where we viewed the abundant wildlife.....black tailed deer, raccoons, bunnies, stellar jays, and on and on. It's in a sweet little neighborhood, about a 20 drive to stores, Bayview Farmer's Market, and Langley is another 10 minutes where there are great dining options and galleries and beach access. Thank you Gavin, for an unforgettable stay!

Ok...our stay at The Green Door was FANTASTIC!

Nothing was spared in consideration of our comfort. Slippers. Bathrobes. Flashlights. Umbrellas. Chocolate in the fridge. Gourmet coffee. Tons of towels. The softest linens. Food for the animals. What!? It was amazing. The home was meticulously renovated. Everything new and in tip top shape. Very secluded and quiet spot...but yet still close to the heart of Whidbey Island. We were so relaxed and comfortable...I cannot recommend this place enough. And I KNOW we will be again soon!! Many thanks, Shannon Bentley

Great getaway

I booked for a friend who came to the island to help celebrate a milestone birthday for me. It was perfect for her. She said it was quaint and modern at the same time and had nice hospitality touches to it. It was quiet and the perfect spot for her to relax when she wasn’t hanging out with us. Cozy cabin in the woods

We love Jim and Nancy’s little cabin in the woods. It’s so cozy and homey. We can feel the love and care they put into this place and appreciate all the little details throughout the home. Our kids love all the art pieces inside and outside of the home. The lights are also a hit with the kids. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place to all of our friends.

A cozy cottage get away

This cottage was so cozy and thoughtfully and artistically put together. We loved it! The photos accurately show what the place looks like in person. The kitchen is impressively well-stocked, the bathroom is too, and the bedrooms have wonderfully comfortable beds and pillows…. The living room is a cozy little space with a well-stocked library and great fireplace. Everything is very clean, fresh, and comfortable, it felt so good being in that space. We lucked out with sunny weather one day of our stay and had the pleasure of sitting on the front deck drinking tea in the sun, it was glorious. Super easy and quick getting to nearby places, and a big thanks for the thoughtful book of recommendations on groceries, places to explore, food places, etc! Village Pizzeria was delicious! Communication with our hosts was great; they were quick to reply and very kind. We highly recommend staying at this cottage!
