About this property

Your vacation starts here! Fully Furnished 3 bedroom home! Close to Ferry's!

Just a quick word on the measures we are currently taking regarding this time and the COVID-19 virus. After every guest stay we are disinfecting all heavy traffic surfaces (door knobs, faucets, remotes, cabinet handles, fridge handles, etc). Also all linen, weither used or not, is washed, sanitized, and changed. We are doing all we can to ensure your stay is a safe stay. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask.

An entire three bedroom, one bath house located in a quiet relaxing neighborhood complete with a large backyard along with a fire pit and deck. Two bedrooms feature queen beds and flat screen TV's while the third bedroom is complete with two twin beds. A large well stocked modern kitchen with dishes to bake, heat a frozen pizza, make some spaghetti or to just relax in with a glass of wine. Along with a comfy living room with amble seating, a flat screen TV and DVD player is perfect for everyone to enjoy a quiet evening after a day of exploring all of the amazing wonders the Eastern Upper Peninsula has to offer.

If bringing you pet with you just be mindful when your in the backyard. While large, it is not fenced in. So please try and keep your pet out of the neighbors yard. While in the home please keep let off of furniture and we recommend crating if left at the home unattended. We will leave bags at the home for picking up the yard after your pet.

A quick hop on I-75 will lead you to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, Oswald's Bear Ranch, or the Soo Locks. A short drive down US-2 will lead you to the Deer Ranch, Mystery Spot, Cut River Bridge, Garlyn Zoo or the beautiful sand dunes for a perfect swim in Lake Michigan.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please pile used towels either in bathroom or by the washer. If you could start a load of towels in the washer that helps us a lot.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If you could, please list names of all guests staying when you book. It is a city requirement that all hosts know the names of their guests staying.
Not a rule but in full disclosure, I do have 3 surveillance cameras installed. 2 looking at the front door and back, and 1 looking at the driveway.
Also since you inside the city limits just note there is a noise ordinance from 10pm to 7am. Please keep noise down during these times.

My family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights and it is a really nice place. Very easy to get to the tourist attractions without being right in the middle of everything. It is right on the interstate, but we never heard it. It was really humid when we were there, so it was great having a fan in each room. The kids even played baseball in the backyard one evening. Overall a great little place

Great location, perfect home

This home was perfect for our group of 3 adults. It was convenient to everything. When I saw on the map how close it was to the highway, I was concerned about noise but we could not hear any highway traffic. The beds were super comfortable too.

I apologize, I went to the house to clean and both tanks were full. The gas was off however. If anyone ever thinks the propane is our just drop me a message and I'll get you a new tank.

A perfect get away!

We were looking to get away for a few days to unwind. This place was perfect! The location was close to everything, easy to find, but still quiet enough to be relaxing. This property is centrally located in town here in Saint Ignace, which if you have been to Mackinaw City is a lot quieter and slower setting. The home is just a quick walk or bike ride to everything in Saint Ignace, ferries, restaurants, stores, marina, beach. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the main town. Easy access to I-75.
