Smiths Lake For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfer’s dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometres and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

This house was perfect for our large extended family. The number of bedrooms & bathrooms was perfect for our group. The only negative was the very small kitchen. I absolutely loved the large deck looking out to the tropical forest & listening to the birds.
House and location is spot on but if you play some music a tiny bit too loud or make to much noise in the pool room or anywhere the next door neighbour will call up security for a noise complaint. Apparently it happens all the time said the security and it’s the same bloke who lives next door. He called up multiple times before 10 o’clock which is the cut off in which you can have fun around the area. Ruined all the fun, won’t be staying there ever again!

Thank you for letting us know about your experience at Allawah. Allawah is set in a quiet leafy area of Smiths Lake. We ask our guests to please respect our neighbours and keep the noise to a minimum. Security is only called if the noise is too loud, certainly not to ruin a guests stay and we were sorry to read you were not happy. Allawah has a beautiful outlook, bird watching and a short walk to the lake, where you can rest and relax during your stay, and enjoy a game of pool.
Lovely large home in a pretty location with surrounding trees including a visit from a Kookaburra. 3 Bathrooms great with 9 people. Pool Table was fun.
We had three families stay at this property. We all enjoyed a game of pool. House was clean and tidy. The only negative was parking, we had three cars and it was a tight fit, would have struggled if we had taken our boat. But overall a great home in a wonderful location.
The property was clean and tidy. Most properties we've stayed at in Smiths Lakes has a key pad door code system, with this home we had to go to Bluey's Beach to obtain the key from the real estate, this was not to much of an inconvenience. There are plenty of bedrooms. Main living area small but cozy. Back deck large enough for family of 8 to 10. There was a slightly damp wet smell, especially in the main bedroom area. Not sure if it was just because there had been torrential rain of recent. Though, nothing that really nice smelling candles and incense couldn't eliminate. If you love the sound of birds this is the place you will hear them.
A fabulous house. The kitchen had a very good range of sharp kitchen knives which is possibly a first in any holiday rental we have ever booked. The ONLY thing I could find as a negative was the lack of a large saucepan. Loved the back deck and there was heaps of both indoor and outdoor space for 6 adults to escape each other at times.
Great place to stay, close to the lake but away from the hustle and bustle of Forster. House not huge but fine for 9 we had. Kitchen a little on the smaller side but well stocked with everything you could want.
All over a great place to stay.
