Wonderful vacation house near beautiful Big Bear Lake!
We had a great stay at this property! Very clean and well-furnished. Spacious rooms with more beds than we could fill! Excellent location and house layout made for a wonderful, comfortable stay!

Another great stay
3rd time at this great place in northern MI…hope to keep coming back.
Very private and tucked away with very few neighbors and a short walk to the lake. Home was wonderfully appointed and clean as a whistle.Far enough away from Gaylord and Lewiston that it was secluded but short enough that you could run into town painlessly.Host was extremely communicative and quick to respond to all of our queries. We’d come back anytime!
Our crew really enjoyed the spaciousness and quantity of beds.

Big bear lake
Excellent. Nice having washer dryer, and everything you have at home to use is here to use. Kayak was great, didn't use paddle board or canoe. Owners were great answered all questions. They were courteous and gave us recommendations for things to do around the area. If I visited that area again I would definitely go back. Definitely recommend. Also we had to stop back to get an item that was left and it was given to us when we got back. Thanks again.
We really enjoyed the property. There was plenty of toilet paper and other necessities. The property was very clean and a very short walk to the lake. There is a lot to do in the area. I would recommend and would stay again.
This house was perfect for our large family. Plenty of space to spread out and have family dinners. Loved the fire pit and space to play outdoor games. Very clean and well equipped with all we needed.
Plenty of space, and the beds were very comfortable. Enough space to spread out, and stuff to do at the house. Good location to go the Mackinac island, the UP, and we went to torch lake. Definitely keep it in mind for next years trip.

Fantastic!
We had a wonderful time with our stay at Big Bear Lake. The house is fantastic and fit our group of 11 wonderfully! Lots of room to gather and connect. We rented a pontoon for a day. The neighbors were also very friendly and kind. We would highly recommend this rental!
My family and I do a trip up north every year just to enjoy nature and one another. This house was PERFECT for the occasion. Spacious, clean, well stocked. 3 minute walk to the Beach/Lake. Loved it. Seriously would stay again.
We liked the house very much and the location is great for seeing lots of attractions. The only issue we had was, it was not well supplied with towels , tp or other paper products. There were 9 of us. All in all it was a great week and we wouldn't mind staying there again
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin accommodated our family of 11 and even had room for a couple more. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures. Having the game room was nice for the grandkids to play in. It was a short walk to the lake with a small beach for the kids to play on. The location was good too;You are between Lewiston and Gaylord. It would also be a great place for a winter vacation too. I highly recommend the place.
The home was much nicer than described. We had lots of space for all to be comfortable. Everything we needed was there. There were eight of us. I didn't hear a single complaint.
We had 5 kids ages (almost) 3-16 and 6 adults stay in the house. It's so very spacious! We never felt on top of each other. During down time the kids hung out int the game room and adults occupied the dining room playing cards. The bunk room allowed for all kids to have their own bed, which was perfect.
Very very short walk to the lake which was great for the kids to play in for hours on end. We all tried out kyaking and paddle boarding with the provided equipment.
The front porch with the picnic table provided plenty of extra space for dinner.
It was a great place to all hang out and chill for a few days. We would definitely consider this same place for future trips.

A wonderful experience
My husband and I, our adult son and daughter with two grandsons (5 and 8) had a great time staying at this house. We had plenty of room to be together or separate in this beautiful house. In the back of the house is a very nice game room with a pool table, tv, games, and another refrigerator which came in very handy. We had wanted to rent a house with a walk out to the beach; however, the beach was very close and the boys had a lot of fun there. The owners thought of so many little things to make anyone's stay pleasant. There is a nice porch in the front and another porch in the back with a fire pit below. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay with 6-12 people.
The house was spacious and adequate for 3 families of 11 people. The pool table was perfect; it became the central gathering spot. We were grateful to find the kayak and paddle board in the garage. They were a good compliment to the water craft we brought. (Had we known they would be available, we might have changed what we brought.) (Both seats in the kayak are badly torn and need to be replaced.) The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals for our crew. (The kitchen knives are so dull, using them was almost dangerous.) We were thankful to find fishing gear in the garage, and caught a fish! We could have used one more kitchen trash bag, and one more dishwasher pod. Thank you for opening your home, we had a delightful time and fell in love with MI.

Great for a family Thanksgiving with kids!
5 stars but a few unexpected surprises.
We stayed at he Big Bear house for Thanksgiving where my brother and his kids joined us. 5 adults, 4 kids (all under 12), and plenty of room for all.
Highlights included: comfortable beds, VERY clean, and the game room was a big hit! The layout allows for everyone to gather together comfortably or have two separate groups in each living area—-wonderful when adults want to relax and kids want to have a dance off. There has clearly been recent renovations, the woodwork is beautiful and the new carpet is so comfy! The jitchen and appliances are dated but we were able to make dinner every night without a problem (aside from me burning a Brussels sprout and setting off the smoke detector).
Also, the property contact, Gina, was INCREDIBLE. She went above and beyond answering questions and recommended a great nearby park for the kids to play at.
The unexpected surprise, which is more a reflection on my lack of thorough research than the property is that it is SO close to neighbors. This is not the place for a “getaway into the woods” as this is definitely a vacation subdivision. It’s beautiful but that take a walk in the woods just isn’t possible.
Still would recommend as the home is GREAT and I imagine even better in the summer as it’s a very short walk to lake access!
We stayed at this property in July and we had adults and children (2 and 4 years).
Pros: The pictures on the listing are nice but the property is even more beautiful in person! Plenty of parking for our group (4 spots). The porch has a fan to keep air circulating, lots off porch seating plus outdoor chairs, large fire pit on side of the house, large dumpster provided. There are outdoor toys and grill provided. Inside there's lots of sleeping space and rooms provide lots of room for luggage. Kitchen is fully equipped (blender, toaster, coffee maker, baking items, utensils, plates, glasses, etc). We cooked almost all of our meals here during our stay. Lots of fridge/freezer space thanks to the extra fridge in the game room. Game room was fun with the billiard table and dart board. The house was extremely clean! Very impressed. Air conditioned and box fans provided. About a 3 minute walk to the beach and about 8 minute drive to public boat launch. The hosts were very responsive when we had a question before and during our stay. We visited Gaylord (25 minute drive) and Mackinac Island (1 hour 15 min drive) while here. Big Bear Trading Post is a 5 minute drive and had delicious pizza!
Cons: Due to the recent rise in water levels, there is a small beach. Each time we went out to the beach we raked the beach to have a spot to sit in the sand.
Overall, I would definitely recommend!

More beautiful than the pictures!

Cons: Due to the recent rise in water levels, there is a small beach. Each time we went out to the beach we raked the beach to have a spot to sit in the sand. No bath mats in the bathrooms which was difficult for the kids when stepping out of the tub.
Overall, I would definitely recommend!
