About the host
Hosted by Linda Sue Pohl
We live nearby and absolutely love the woods and all the hiking opportunities around. My husband is a psychiatrist and I have enjoyed being a therapeutic foster parent for many years. In my work as a host for our VRBO home, I want our guests to feel like they are important and that we do our very best to meet their needs and to be available if they have any concerns at all.
Why they chose this property
I love the abundance of trees here, and that the houses are a good distance apart, which afford guests a sense of privacy and the beauty of nature surrounding them. People are able to take walks in the neighborhood, and also hike in the nearby Al Buehler trail. If interested in lemurs, you can even schedule a time to see and learn about them at the nearby Duke Lemur Center. There are a variety of restaurants, as you can see from a family photo at one of the nearby restaurants. (Gary and I are the couple on the left side of the photo!)
What makes this property unique
Our property has been recently totally renovated, and we also have new top of the line furnishings and accoutrements. People often say that they are able to relax in our home; that it gives them a sense of peacefulness and tranquility.
