Five of us came to Whit's End for the birding festival in May. The location was great - right on the water for beautiful views, and a quick drive to the various birding locations. One of the things we wanted was multiple bathrooms! That way we could all get ready quickly when we wanted to get moving early in the morning. We took turns cooking, and the kitchen was roomy and well-supplied. (We did bring a couple of our own knives for food prep - we don't expect a rental to have high-quality knives because they'd probably walk out the door.) Plenty of dishes, a good coffee maker, etc.Communication was quick and responsive when I had a few questions after we moved in. I highly recommend Whit's End for a lakefront vacation. Plenty of equipment for kids, too.

Great place!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. House was as described and location is quiet and beautiful. We spent a lot of time fishing and looking for sea glass. Perfect location for a family with children.

Wonderful location and plenty of space

The house was stocked with all basic supplies and there was plenty of room for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). The beach was great! Additionally, the location is within easy driving distance to various day adventures.

What a beautiful beach location. Our grandchildren were in the water every opportunity, we had north east winds, which they were able to use the boogie boards and body surf, and the beach toys they loved. We played games every night in the sunroom.Enjoyed our stay!

Lake Erie House

The homeowner was very friendly and communication was great. The kitchen was very well equipped. Our whole family enjoyed being right on Lake Erie. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! We appreciated the extras like beach toys, games, and books for the kids.

Such a cozy destination!

We were very fortunate to stay in this very cozy home while we visited Ohio. The house literally had everything we needed - including a garden tub that came in handy to bathe our littles. Would highly recommend!

Quick stay was worth it.

I stayed two nights at the property - enjoyed seeing and hearing the waves. House was clean and comfortable as advertised. Fred was very nice and responsive - even left me me a bottle of wine for the stay.

This house is very spacious and well equipped. We had a group of 5 women friends and enjoyed the beach area for cocktails, the grill for a fish fry, and being able to spread out in the 4 large bedrooms. The location was perfect for birding at MaGee Marsh and Ottawa. It was also very close to a marina that offered numerous charters for fishing. Fred stayed in contact with us and was extremely helpful. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this house.

Lovely get away

Our family had a lovely time together staying at Whit’s end, We had a small issue that the owners promptly addressed and fixed. The patio and firepit on the water were a nice addition to the end of each day.
