Peace and Quiet at Sweet Acres

Enjoy a romantic getaway or a family outing. Our quaint guest house is nestled in the woods amoung fruit trees and bushes. Peace, quiet, private, and tranquil. The guest house has a master with a queen, and a second bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a futon in the sitting room. Fully equipped kitchen or cook outdoors at our pool pavilion. Choose from Green Egg, Pellet Grill, or Wok. Cool off in our pool while your meal is cooking. Enjoy a campfire at the fire pit. Finish off the evening with some classic s'mores and your favorite beverage.
We are minutes from Historic Stone Mountain Park and the Lazer Show.

The space

Grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping are 5 minutes away.

My husband and I loved staying at this cute little cottage for our honeymoon! Very cozy and secluded, we were surprised with some delicious cookies that Becky baked when we first walked in! Mike and Becky were great hosts and we highly recommend staying at Sweet Acres.

Beautiful Place

This cute little place was more than what I expected. The hosts were very kind and friendly. They also responded in a timely manner. They checked on me to see if I would get in after dark to have the porch light on when I got there. Very hospitable and I will definitely be back in the future. It’s surrounded by nature and is very peaceful. Loved it very much !

Quiet and peaceful

We enjoyed our stay at sweet acres. Mike and Becky both were very easy to communicate with and very kind and welcoming. The cottage itself was very clean and is very well taken. If we ever travel back to the Georgia area we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely wonderful

I'd give this five stars just for Mike and Becky! They are so sweet, nice, and just all around good people. The house was larger than it looked from the outside, cute and comfortable. And we were met with a plate of the most delicious chocolate chip cookies! I would definitely stay again with no hesitation.

Wonderful stay!!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house is fantastic...exactly what we need for our family. The pool, though, I have to say is the best part!!! Amazing as always. We stayed last year and came back this year. Can't wait for next summer!!! Mike and Becki are wonderful people, so helpful, very friendly, and are there for anything you need. Thanks again Mike!!! We miss the house already!!!

X-Large dollhouse

I felt like I was in an X-Large dollhouse. My son felt like he was too tall for the bed. We checked back out within an hour of being there forfeiting all moneys that was spent. The owner asked me how tall was my son. When I answered, The owner called me a LIAR and said that my son could very well sleep on the futon bed.

A lovely getaway in a gorgeous wooded forest

From the beginning, communication with the owners was smooth and we always got quick and helpful response. The cozy cottage has everything you need and is spotless! The cottage is well stocked with everything! There are plenty of towels, and everything felt so nice and clean! Mike and Becky were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed! Our favorite part of the rental is the natural environment it is surrounded by. When you wake up in the morning, since the bedrooms are upstairs(bathroom downstairs,) it’s like you are in a treehouse! The birds singing in the woods are incredible! At any given time I could identify 7 different species on my bird song app. The rental is off of beautiful backroads and was the perfect location to visit family in a nearby town and Atlanta. We highly recommend this rental!! Thank you Becky and Mike!!!

The home was very clean and inviting. The only thing I wish I would have known was that it is cooled with window units that you cannot turn below 68 or they will freeze up. My family is very hot natured so we were a little warm during the stay, but that's okay it wasn't miserable. The communication with the host was wonderful and they even brought us a plate of homemade cookies when we checked in.

Peaceful stay

E joyed my stay at Mike and Becky's. Nice and cozy. Delicious home baked chocolate chip cookies greeted me on the table when i entered the front door. Very serene place and location. Will stay again next time I'm in the area.

We were pleased with the location, the driveway is a little narrow, bushes could use some trimming. Hosts were good at communicating. If you have to get up at night the bathroom is downstairs. The only real issue I had was the overpowering air freshener that plugged in. I am very sensitive to certain smells. We unplugged it and everything was fine. thaasensitivtoscents.

Great secluded cottage

We were in Georgia for 2 weeks for baseball. This was the perfect little cottage for our little family. We were able to have space for everything. And the pool was my little ones favorite. Host were always so quick to respond and very friendly and helped with any request we asked. This was a perfect little place to get away from the towns but still close enough to town if you needed to go in.

Country get away

This is a beautiful little cottage tucked away in a family community. Situated behind the host home, it is quiet and charming. I like this area as it is less than 20 min from of my favorite hiking and nature spots.

Meeting of a Lifetime

Thank you very much. It was a very special weekend. It was our first time of meeting each other face to face and you helped make it very special. The cookies and blueberries were great. I live in AL and John lives about 30 or so minutes from your guesthouse. This was his first experience with staying in a place such as this. We do apologize for the bike noise this morning. I had to leave to be at work and had a 4+ hour drive and he has to go in early.

Very nice little place, very clean with a Spring fed water system. Cozy and within 40-50 minutes of many places of interest. Becky was a very nice lady. Her dogs very friendly and loved my son.
