Luxurious T3 apartment with large private garden & communal pool

For entertaining and relaxing it is an ideal place to stay as Tavira is situated on the Ria Formosa which produces sea salt and has a myriad of wild life including flamingos and pretty butterflies. The water ways are busy with yachts, fishing boats and ferries particularly in the summer when visitors hop across the water to the Island of Tavira. The Island has a good choice of restaurants in an otherwise un-spoilt area of outstanding natural beauty. This large three bedroom apartment offers all the comfort of modern life nestled in the old world charm of the historical Tavira with its many restaurants, cultural events and the famous beach at Ilha de Tavira. The apartment is impeccably furnished and there is a delightful garden for entertaining or relaxing. It's also an ideal place to use as a base to explore the Algarve, it's many beautiful beaches, water sports and the golf courses near by. Benamor golf is the nearest 18 hole golf course approx. 2,5 kilometer down the road. The golf courses of Quinta da Ria, Quinta de Cima and Monte Rei are less than a 10 minutes drive away.

The property comprises an entrance hall leading to the good size living room with dining area, modern fully equipped kitchen with breakfast area and storeroom, three double bedrooms (2 double & 1 twin) all with built in wardrobes and access to the garden. There are two bathrooms; one en-suite to the master bedroom with massage shower and second bathroom with bath. The apartment has air conditioning and a large private garden of approx. 75m2 with table & chairs, sun loungers and banana, lemon and olive trees. In short, an ideal place to relax and enjoy the charm of the old town. This is a rather unique situation where only 8 luxury apartments share a communal swimming pool and lawn, large sun terrace with beautiful views overlooking the old town towards to sea.

May half term in Tavira

We had a fantastic stay here. The property itself is great, with amazing outside space and a swimming pool with brilliant views over Tavira castle. It’s also only 5 minute walk into town where there are loads of great bars and restaurants. Plus the ferry (or water taxi if you prefer) to the beach - which is also thoroughly recommended.

The most important thing you can do to improve the experience is to not allow Robert anywhere near your renters. He made a huge deal about having a form filled out before we arrived. I have done VRBO rental all over the world and had a rental. There was no reason for this especially as we had to meet the agent to get in. Even if it was a legal requirement and necessary to get all the passport info ahead of time rudeness and a threat that our vacation was at risk of starting off pleasantly was uncalled for. He took time to write a nasty email after my friend filled out the form.

Great Location for town.

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Rooms all a good size. Lovey courtyard with plenty of shade to sit out and enjoy. Garden furniture very comfortable, has a large table for dining outside. Easy walk into town with everything you need there. The pool area is very well maintained and clean. Only one small thing, we were there for two weeks and had to request clean bedding and towels for second week. The new linen arrived in a sealed bag and was very damp, it must have been packed by the cleaners before being aired. Apart from that we would recommend this apartment, we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Property is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. A few niggly bits which I think should be mentioned - The en-suite shower is a bit dated and could do with some maintenance. The freezer was unusable as it needed descaling. There was some building/maintenance work going on at the flats above which was noisy and caused debris and dust to fall on the patio. There was only 2 sunbeds and 1 parasol to take to the pool which we didn’t think was enough for 4/6 people. (We borrowed some from a friend). Having said all that it didn’t spoil our holiday and we had a fabulous time in Tavira.

Fun in the sun

This apartment was amazing. The agent in Tavira was so very helpful too. The apartment aircon was really good and could be controlled individually in each bedroom / living spce which was great for the varied ages within our group. The living space was perfect for relaxing. The pool area was very clean and tidy. The kitchen was really well fitted out with everything you might need for cooking/bbqing there or for bringing food back. The patio was incredible - very spacious - our group enjoyed relaxing here in both the shady and sunny areas throughout the day and it was a great focal point for meals and evening gatherings to chat about our respective days out. Tavira is a beautiful town and the apartment was a short walk to the centre of it. If we go back to Tavira, we will book to stay here again! Special shout out to Catarina who helped us with a small query we had about sun loungers. Also Yellowfish transfers were their usual excellent selves with transfers being on time and super professional.

C’était très bien comme appartement et emplacement mais pour de long séjour ce serait bien de laisser ce qu’il faut pour l’entretien ( linge et nettoyeur). De plus, il n’y avait qu’un linge pour la vaisselle et rien pour sortir les aliments du four. . C’est un bel appartement mais il aurait besoin d’être rafraîchi car il y a des toiles d’araignées sur les luminaires et le ménage est vite fait. Nous sommes quand même très satisfait de notre séjour .

Groß, geräumig, etwas angewohnt.

Kein Highlight, aber auch nicht schlecht. Die Lage ist super. 5 Minuten gemütlicher Spaziergang nötig, um in die Fußgängerzone zu kommen. Die Wohnung ist groß, die Küche mit allem ausgestattet. Leider nur mit den nötigsten Sachen wie spülmaschinentabs, Seife, Mülltüten, toilettenpapier Der Pool ist schön und ein toller Blick über tavira.

O apartamento é muito central, a 5 minutos a pé estamos no centro da cidade. A casa é muito agradável, limpa e apesar de estra no centro é bastante sossegada. Apenas referia que poderiam ter cadeiras/espreguiçadeiras na zona da piscina para os hóspedes e também TV por cabo. Nós famílias com filhos pequenos gostamos de ver televisão e em especial TV nacional.

Great location and very nice backyard

The property was very well kept and well equipped. Centrally located and a free Public parking right in front of the building. Very nice backyard - we were only three people, but you can easily reside there as three couples or two couples with kids. To improve: Slow Wi-Fi and rather bad connectivity in the backyard. Rather soft mattresses. Verdict: we would come back for sure!

Un séjour magnifique

Les spacieuses pièces de l’appartement sont très propres et la décoration est très moderne. La terrasse ou les enfants peuvent courir à volonté est très pratique et très bien entretenue. Le matériel de cuisine est suffisant. Tout était parfait. Le voisinage est sympathique. La piscine est très propre et les règles sont respectées. L’appartement se trouve à 5 minutes à pied des supermarchés et du centre. Je ne peux que recommander cet appartement. Nous avons passés un séjour magnifique et inoubliable.
