All Countries next to the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico are experiencing a wave of seaweed. The conditions are dependent on the currents and weather and can determine the usability of the beach club. We can not control beach conditions but you can monitor the situation on the live WEBCAM on LetsGoPDC.

This vacation rental is the located in the only complex with its own beach club restaurant on site in downtown Playa del Carmen. This complex offers the best amenities that Playa has to offer. Please note that the unit sleeps 6 adults with the exception of 2 additional children...One in current bed set up and one in a rollaway bed or crib (additional cost).

Immaculate, Bali-style, OCEANFRONT, condo with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths in appx 2000 square feet. With a beautiful heated pool, in-pool massage chairs, and amenities including, Beach club restaurant , world-class gym (The Gym),and spa. This property has it all! This is a unique condo complex with individual owners, yet all professionally managed by one company providing continuity and the highest level of service in Playa.

Enjoy privacy and serenity from your own rooftop, this amazing 3 bedroom penthouse with 3 separate bathrooms has the most amazing unobstructed views in all of Playa. It has a Balinese thatched canopy and palapa which makes the unit reminiscent of a nest perched high above the turquoise blue water of the Caribbean Sea. This corner unit is decorated in a Balinese style surrounded by a large wrap around terrace with amazing ocean views from every angle. The living room has curved windows facing the beach plus two large sliding glass doors leading out to the private terrace. The terrace also has lounge chairs and offers a dining table for romantic seaside dining. This penthouse offers access to its own private rooftop playground equipped with a large outdoor Jacuzzi, outdoor shower and stainless steel professional BBQ grill. There are lounge chairs, dining table, and a built-in outdoor sofa that provides plenty of entertainment space with superb ocean views. Enjoy complete privacy and serenity from your own rooftop and fall in love with this unit's spacious rooms.

Great location

Property was beautiful loved all the greenery. Elevator was broken the entire time however, the stairs weren’t bad. Felt like housekeeping could do a deep clean of the condo. Overall, we enjoyed our family time. Condo was very spacious. Hot tub was nice. The view was amazing, We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The Room 3br-3bth was spacious and clean. 6 of us in total so was perfect. We preordered food for the fridge so was nice to have when we got there. There was a water dispenser and ice provided by the resort. Outside living Our patio was awesome and overlooked the sea. BBQ could have worked better but we managed. Two pools for the resort, the one is ocean side and the other across the street but no issues getting to it. Restaurant was pretty decent food and not too busy. Beach was small and where the fishing boats tie up. The seaweed was a problem while we were there but not the resorts fault of course. There were other nearby beaches that were clean. Location Close to the ferry to Cozumel (approx 10min walk) and two blocks from 5th Ave. Tons of restaurants nearby. Mega store for groceries was 12 min walk. Also found a small fresh food market about 10 mins away. We would stay here again. The management was great, the concierge very helpful. They also loaned us a cooler and beach chairs, arranged a car rental for a day to go to a Cenote.

Scam or VRBO fail??

When I asked for check in details, 7 months after booking, I was informed the until was double booked. I was offered something far less appealing and said no. Called VRBO, they said I could cancel and book something else. There was nothing comparable 2 days before my arrival. Eventually given another unit. The views in that unit were lovely. But the bathroom floor flooded from an air-conditioning leak. I had to sit during our 1 sun filled day while they worked on it. Because during check in I overheard another guest had something stolen. And they were told the hotel wasn't responsible, even if the unit was locked. The hot tub was cold on the night we wanted to use it. And one night we had to close all doors and windows because a raccoon chased us back into the unit. Yes, really! So from before through the end, I would never stay at this complex ever again. I visit Playa at least once a year, this was the 1st time I encountered such things. I hope by giving an honest review, someone else is saved from an unfortunate situation. It may be a common bait and switch operation, or a complete fluke. But it was not what I paid for. And card was charged 7 months in advance. VRBO was truly no help either. So buyer beware and Good luck.
