Enchanting— no hyperbole needed — Facts are that is is full of books, hosted by a gem of a human, shares a Nantucket street with restaurants, the bookstore, and the best ice cream on the island. Apartment is cute, beds are comfy, and reading material limitless.

The location of this apartment is hard to believe. Literally in the middle of town next to the best bars, restaurants, and shopping. The apartment itself is also beautifully designed, comfortable, and quiet. Communication with the host was less reliable than I hoped and I had trouble getting a response at times. But most issues were eventually resolved. You really can’t be in a better spot, so if the space is enough for you, it’s a great option.

A bibliophile’s dream — welcoming! comfortable! — and perfectly located in the heart of Nantucket, next door to Brotherhood of Theives, steps from everything. Wendy owns the bookstore downstairs. She’s friendly and responsive. I seldom leave reviews here and when I do I’m a tough grader, but this stay simply couldn’t have been more wonderful.

Wonderful stay! Just as pictured and even more charming. Location was perfect, and the ability to stash our luggage before and after check in/out was very helpful. Planning to come back next year!

Perfect Location

Loved the location. Convenient to everything downtown. 2 bedrooms with en suite bath and a loft with 2 twins. A bit loud in the mornings but that is expected with such a great location.

We loved our stay at this property. We appreciated how spacious the apartment was and all of the design elements were thoughtful and beautiful. The best part was the location - right in town. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great in-town stay

We loved our stay at Literary Oasis! The apartment location was amazing for first time visitors to Nantucket or those wanting an in-town location. We had an easy walk to all the shopping, restaurants, and pier spots. The actual home was amazing. As an avid reader, I loved the book theme of the unit. We will definitely be booking this stay again .
