One bedroom Apartment on Verano Azul Complex 15 minutes walk to town centre
The apartment is built in the Spanish style and is situated in the much sought after complex of Verano Azul. The urbanization has two swimming pools and well kept gardens. Having one of the best positions in the complex,the property sleeps 2 persons, has one spacious bedroom with twin beds, a living room/dining room, a separate well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room opens on to a south facing terrace with views of the sea and small pool. A spiral staircase takes you to the spacious, private rooftop terrace with lovely sea and mountain views. This area is perfect for sunbathing as it gets sun all day. The complex is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. PLEASE NOTE: As a legal requirement, passport and other details of ALL guests (including children) must be submitted to the authorities in Spain prior to you taking up residence in our holiday rental property.
The process is exactly the same as the check in service at a hotel.

We fell in love with Nerja on our first visit in 1993 and bought the apartment in 2003. Last year, 2017, we moved to the area permanently and lived in the apartment for a while. We now live in nearby Frigiliana.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with Nerja when we first visited in 1993 and decided to look for an apartment to buy on our third visit. We like the fact that, although it is a tourist resort, it is still very Spanish, and we mingle with the locals. There are many lovely restaurants with almost every cuisine catered for, along with many Spanish traditional restaurants and tapas bars. There are many quaint villages and towns within easy driving distance, or a good bus service for those not wishing to hire a car. There is a good motorway link from Malaga airport.
What makes this property unique
We liked the Verano Azul complex because it is quiet, with no noisy bars on site, and has lovely gardens. The pools do not get crowded either. The apartment also appealed to us as it has sea and mountain views.
