About this property

One bedroom Apartment on Urb Verano Azul 15 minutes walk to town centre Sleeps 2

The apartment, which sleeps 2 persons, is built in the traditional Spanish style and is situated in the much sought after complex of Verano Azul. The urbanization has two swimming pools and well kept gardens. Having one of the best positions in the complex,the property has one spacious bedroom with twin beds, a living room/dining room, a separate well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with bath and shower. The living room opens on to a south facing terrace with views of the sea and small pool. A spiral staircase takes you to the spacious, private rooftop terrace with lovely sea and mountain views. This area is perfect for sunbathing as it gets sun all day. The complex is about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. PLEASE NOTE: As a legal requirement, passport and other details of ALL guests (including children) must be submitted to the authorities in Spain prior to you taking up residence in our holiday rental property.
The process is exactly the same as the check in service at a hotel.
I use a third party, Villa Check In to collect and record this information. Please look out for an email from them, usually one week before your arrival. They will provide a link for you to register everyone. This link can be sent to other guests in your group for completion.
Once you are all registered, Villa Check In will send you the access details for the property the day before you travel. If you do not provide the required details you will not be allowed access.

Great Stay. Nice place, we went in October breakfast on a sunny terrace then afternoon/early evening sun on roof terrace. We were a late arrival but not a problem due to check in procedure. Host left us alone but was there when needed. It's a sprawling town but you had everything close supermarkets, shops bars and restaurants.

Great apartment in a lovely complex with everything you need for a great week, fantastic roof terrace was a real bonus with great views over the sea, the inner location meant that there was no noise from busy main road and a very peaceful area but close enough to stroll into town for food and drinks each night highly recommended and will be back for sure

Very nice apartment in a great location. Pleasant walk to Burriana beach and the old town. From the roof terrace the views of the mountain and the sea are fantastic. But the best feature is the terrace off the lounge overlooking the pool. It gets the sun from early morning and the pool is rarely busy. The small complex is very quite and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

Appartement très propre, bien équipé et très bien situé du centre ville de Nerja. On peut aller à la plage à pied ce qui est un plus. Il y a 2 piscines très bien entretenues ce qui est appréciable avec la chaleur . La terrasse est un atout majeur de cette location avec vue sur la mer et les montagnes, la nuit c'est fabuleux de s'y installer. Un très bon rapport qualité prix pour cette location. Nerja est une très belle ville et nous la recommandons vivement aux familles car elle est très calme et le temps est idéal.

Cozy apartment with amazing roof terrace

We stayed six days in this beautiful apartment. It is placed on the first floor in a really nice apartment complex of white small houses. Everything was clean and equipped well. From the roof terrace you have an amazing view over Nerja to the ocean. Until the center of old Nerja and to the balcony of Europe you walk ten minutes. The contact with Julie was just great. We would like to come back!

My husband and myself had a lovely week in Nerja, our first visit here. The property was a 15/20 mins stroll to the main square (Balcon De Europa) no problem for us (both of us in our 60's). Beautiful Cafe's/Restaurants for lunches/dinners , great places for Tapas. The weather was gorgeous (in the early 20 degrees for the whole week- just very comfortable) . We visited the beautiful mountainside village of Frigiliana (only 1 Euro by local bus )well worth a visit. We did'nt get to go to see the famous Caves but hopefully on our next visit (we definitely will be returning). It was a very late holiday booking and it was seamless due to Julie's prompt and efficient response regarding Apartment/Key handover, so overall a great week and thanks again to Julie

Cozy appartment with big private rooftop terrace

Ten minutes walk from Burriana Beach, ten minutes walk from Nerja Centre. Cozy clean first floor apartment, with private balcony and big roofterrace with seaview. One of the two swimmingpools of the complex is only 15 seconds away. Relaxed and quiet (since Nerja in high season gets a bit crowded) and still enough facilities (supermarket, restaurant, GREAT bakery) around the corner. If there are any problems: Julie will answer your questions through email straightaway! Had some problems with the Spanish electricity but that was also immediately resolved. Had a great stay!

We fell in love with Nerja on our first visit in 1993 and bought the apartment in 2003. Last year, 2017, we moved to the area permanently and lived in the apartment for a while. We now live in nearby Frigiliana.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Nerja when we first visited in 1993 and decided to look for an apartment to buy on our third visit. We like the fact that, although it is a tourist resort, it is still very Spanish, and we mingle with the locals. There are many lovely restaurants with almost every cuisine catered for, along with many Spanish traditional restaurants and tapas bars. There are many quaint villages and towns within easy driving distance, or a good bus service for those not wishing to hire a car. There is a good motorway link from Malaga airport.

What makes this property unique

We liked the Verano Azul complex because it is quiet, with no noisy bars on site, and has lovely gardens. The pools do not get crowded either. The apartment also appealed to us as it has sea and mountain views.
