Stay at Mouse Creek Cabin

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect, very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Great secluded cabin! Was a tad confusing getting there just because we weren’t sure if we were on the right driveway or not and were hesitant to just keep driving if it wasn’t the right one but we made it. Stay was great! Had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The front and back porch were very peaceful. Hottub was great! Had some bad storms while we were there power was out for a short time but can back on within a few hours. Host called to warn us of weather prior to checkin which I thought was very nice! We definitely recommend!

The property was better than the listing. Clean, beautiful and comfortable. We loved the privacy and being close to things we wanted to do. I just wished the shower water could have been warmer, but we’d definitely stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: THE DIRECTIONS TO THE CABIN WAS BAD. WE WERE TOLD THAT AAFTER PASSING A BROWN HOUSE WE WOULD SEE THE NUMBER AND NAME OF THE CABIN. THAT WAS NOT SO!!! WE HAD TO HUNT FOR IT.
Response from VrboOwner on 7 July 2026
We are sorry for the missunderstanding. That would upset me after a long drive. We hope the rest of your time away was relaxing and enjoyable.

Loved seeing a Mama bear and her 2 cubs right at the edge of the front porch. Did not love the morning wake-up calls from the birds flying into the windows and then pecking on the windows for an hour or two each morning. 😂 Everything was very lovely overall.

Very nice and quiet. Hot tub was awesome in the enclosed sunroom. Water pressure in the shower was very low and the temp of the water was hard to regulate but never ran out.

The cabin was very clean inside and the furniture outside. Not a bad distance from Helen and very quiet and private area.

Very lovely place. But, you can’t control the air. There is no fan to circulate air. There is very little water pressure in the kitchen sink. The shower head water pressure makes the water feel like needles hitting your skin. The screened in porch had loads of pollen all over everything. The driveway to the cabin has no marker to show you’re at the correct one. Very difficult to find the right one. Other than that, very charming and private.

Cabin code was easy to use and the place was clean. Great location to things to do but far enough to have solitude. Owners reached out to make sure everything was well with the place. Great experience! Will rent again in the future!
