Wow amazing

We just returned from a week away we loved it lovely family holiday home, very spacious close to amenities on a bus route in to los christianious taxi back around 7 euro bargain. Owner was lovely allthough they were also on there break regular messages asking how our stay was and willingness of her family member offering to take us shopping added to a wonderful experience. Lots of things for the children situated in a good area with local transport links the shared pool is a bonus and its heated, soft let the shared part put younof we went during August and regularly we had the pool to ourselves the jacuzzi is a bonus in the rear garden has son most of the day along with the use of a barbeque home from home with added bonuses. Will definitely be back thankyou for a wonderful holiday.

J'ai déjà réservé il y a 3 ans et c'était déjà top (voir mon précédent commentaire) Franchement, quoi dire à part que c'est une de mes habitations préférées dans tous mes voyages ! Cosy, spacieux, chaleureux, équipé, propre et frais quand il fait chaud ! Je suis juste triste de devoir mettre 5 étoiles car ça va attirer d'autres voyageurs ! Mais je veux garder cet endroit pour MOI ! Je reviendrai encore et toujours !

Excellent house in quiet neighbourhood

We loved staying in Suzanne’s house. Everything we needed was already there or easily found in the local amenities. Having the use of the jacuzzi was great and also the pool. The weather was very warm while we were there and so these came as an added bonus. We strongly recommend this property to others.

Highly recommend such an amazing place and Susanne is great. She met us o arrival, took us shopping, bottle of bubbly for us also. She gave us an overview on places to go she was just fantastic. And the villa ...... out of this world will be back

Lovely Villa with private garden

We enjoyed our stay at the villa, very spacious and immaculate. Beds are comfy and the shower rooms are modern and spacious. The children liked the lights in the shower, a nice touch. We all enjoyed the hot tub and garden and that sets this place apart from other villas. We had a small car and it fits in the driveway. We didn’t use the local facilities so can’t comment on restaurants as we used the car to travel and eat out. My only dislike of the area is that there are no paths to walk to los Cristianos and you need to travel by car or bus. The tv didn’t have British channels but we were shown how to set the audio output to English language and we got by with that. Overall, would be more than happy to book this place again, a lot of thought and detail has been put in by Susanne.

Lovely Villa & Great Owner

The villa was so spacious & very clean we were so pleased with it , ideal for large families too. On arrival we were met by Susanne who is a lovely lady very welcoming, she gave us some cava, chocolates & water the day we arrived which I thought was a lovely touch you don’t get many owners that do that for you. Susanne even came to say goodbye to us when we were leaving. The village of Chayofa has a few good eateries one being a British run pub but if you want more touristy areas you would need a taxi or hire car. Would definitely recommend staying at this villa & will return at some point.

INCROYABLE

Très belle et très grande villa , bien située ! Tout est en accord avec l'annonce, la terasse, le jacuzzi, les chambres et les salles de bain ! Une cuisine bien équipée, lits confortables, à 7 min en voiture des belles plages. Susanne nous répond très rapidement lorsque nous avons une demande. Nous reviendrons dans cette villa ! Petit défaut : les salles de bain sont un peu mal éclairées mais la jolie lumière de la douche compense un peu. Merci beaucoup pour ce séjour Susanne !

The best holiday house we stayed at so far!!

This lovely place in Chafoya is everything you can wish for when you look for a spacious house in quiet surroundings. Owner Susanne welcomed us upon arrival and showed us the place. Before we arrived we got in touch through WhatsApp which was comfortable. The jacuzzi in the garden is a big plus. We enjoyed relaxing in there at the end of the day. The swimming pool is a two minute walk away. We got a key for the pool area which is a shared pool with neighbouring houses. Chafoya has a number of restaurants to choose from as well as a mini market for fresh bread in the morning. We took our rental car for the weekly shopping in Siam Mall which is a ten minute drive down the hill. We will definitely return here on a future Tenerife visit.

Fantastic villa, fabulous owners

The villa is very spacious, very clean and well maintained. It is at least as lovely as it looks in the pictures, probably more-so in fact. It is in the centre of a lovely hillside village. We tried two of the restaurants in the village and both were very good indeed - local food, nicely prepared and at sensible prices. The little supermarket in the village is a 5 min walk away and it stocks all basic things, open from 0900 - we also went to the much bigger hipomarket at Siam Mall, which is a 10 min drive away..... but beware rush hour in the evening when the traffic down there gets very congested! The garden has large plants and there is plenty of shade as an option to Sun when sitting outside. The villa has a car parking space for one small car - the street is quite narrow and car manouvering needs care. Suzanne is an exceptional host, incredibly helpful. We can not recommend this villa highly enough to anyone who wants a quiet vacation, close to Los Christianos while not in the town itself, in a spacious and nicely presented villa, dealing with the nicest villa owners we’ve ever met.

We stayed here with our 2 year old daughter and had a great time. Very spacious and well-equipped house in a small village with a couple great restaurants within walking distance. Relaxing jacuzzi in the garden and access to a heated pool a couple of minutes walk away.

Chayofa is a lovely community and Suzanne's villa is the jewel in the Crown.

The villa itself is fantastic but what really made our stay exceptional was Suzanne for whom nothing was too much trouble. Chayofa has a few bars and restaurants with La Finca our favorite for dining and Treehouses for drinks with very witty and friendly staff and customers. We chose not to hire a car as we could not agree on a designated driver but this did not stop us from exploring as the bus stop is only a short stroll away and by downloading the Titsa bus app you can track your bus real-time so no long waits for the bus . Alternatively a taxi to Los Cristianos was only €8. When booking our next trip to Tenerife we will certainly check the availability of the villa and book the flights accordingly. Once again a very large thank you to Suzanne and her daughter for being just brilliant.

Lovely property unfortunately we had some problems

The house is absolutely beautiful, well equipped, well located for the communal pool, bars & restaurants. Only short drive to beaches and supermarkets, unfortunately on the day we arrived there were serious problems with the electrics which meant we couldn’t use air conditioning, kettle, hot tub, oven etc It was resolved late on the second night and had a partial refund but did spoil the start of the holiday, especially as the owners husband was very rude to us when he visited late at night on the day we arrived. The hot tub does not use chlorine so on the morning of the third day it was green and unusable, they did send a workman to change just half the water. We found some chlorine and used it ourselves to keep it clean! Suzanne is a lovely kind owner who was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, lovely cake & bottle of cava was lovely to arrive to 😊

Absolutely perfect!

When we arrived in Tenerife we were greeted by Suzanne (the owner) who from the minute we booked our holiday and right up until we left Tenerife was incredibly helpful, accommodating and just simply a genuinely lovely person. Nothing is too much trouble, she strives on ensuring your holiday is perfect and might I say, perfect it was!! The villa is everything and more we imagined it to be! Extremely clean, comfy beds, nice showers and equipped with everything you could possibly need to use throughout your stay. The garden is beautiful, a lovely place to relax after a busy day! We spent a lot of time at the communal pool, (don’t let the word communal put you off) it is only a very short walk from the villa & is extremely peaceful. However we liked it when it was a little bit busier, it was a lovely opportunity to chat to the locals & our daughter to make friends to play with. The villa is what we would consider to be the perfect location. It is situated in a beautiful little village with a couple of eating places & a small supermarket, yet only a short taxi drive (costing roughly €7) to the town, beach and entertainment! We will definitely be returning! 5* villa, 5*host! You will not be disappointed!

Simply perfect

We loved staying here. Everything and more is available to make this a home from home. The hot tub was very much used. Lovely quiet secluded garden. Good location to get to Los Christianos. Las Americas and Adeje. Also great for Teide and Siam Park. Nice touch with the bottle of bubbly and chocolate cake. Thank you Suzanne for getting some shopping before arrival and for being flexible when our flights got changed. We will be back 😊

Sehr gepflegtes und großzügiges Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen !!!

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 fast erwachsene Kinder) haben gerade 10 Tage in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war super, es gab eine prima Anfahrtsbeschreibung und einen netten Willkommensgruß. Das Haus selbst war sehr sauber und die Küchengeräte perfekt in Ordnung...noch niemals vorher haben wir aus Sauberkeitsgründen einen Ferienhaus-Grill nutzen wollen: hier war das kein Problem! Der Terrassenbereich ist auch sehr großzügig angelegt, es gibt ausreichend Liegen für 4 Personen, einen großen Glastisch mit Platz für mind. 8 Personen und einen beheizten Whirlpool. Dort hat man wirklich seine Ruhe! Der mit zu nutzende Swimmingpool ist gut erreichbar und ebenfalls sehr gepflegt, beheizt und es stehen ausreichend Sonnenliegen zur Verfügung. Nicht nur dafür, sondern auch grundsätzlich sind ausreichend Handtücher im Haus vorhanden. Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und können dieses Objekt nur empfehlen!!! Die Lage haben wir als perfekt empfunden, denn es liegt etwas abseits des Touristentrubels und dennoch kann man in wenigen Minuten mittendrin sein. Zur Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel kann ich nichts sagen, wir hatten einen Mietwagen und würden das auch empfehlen! Ein Parkplatz befindet sich direkt vor der Haustür. Wir werden wiederkommen !!!

A lovely house

This was our second stay, and we had a great time again. Suzanne very kindly offered to do some shopping in advance for us, and this was very helpful as we arrived fairly late in the day. As before, everything was very clean and we enjoyed the facilities. The younger members of our family particularly liked the hot tub and spent many hours in it during the 11 days of our holiday. We hired a car through CICAR which we can recommend, as there are no extra charges apart from a refundable fuelling charge, and no hassle when collecting or returning the car. We visited many places on the island, and on our last full day went to La Gomera on an organised excursion for the whole day, which was very interesting and good value for the price. Our sons and their partners went to Siam Park twice and really enjoyed it. We went to the local restaurant La Finca which was very good, and tried different restaurants in Los Cristianos where there is a great choice. Suzanne was very helpful throughout and dealt with any minor problems very promptly. We can recommend this property.

Excellent Holiday Vacation

This place is amazing everything you need is catered for so clean and very well maintained the garden is very private and not overlooked and gets the sun all day.The customer service could not be faulted Susanne the owner was excellent the cava and chocolate cake was a nice gesture on arrival and she even got us some shopping in from a list we sent her as we arrived later on the Sunday and the supermarket may have been closed.We would certainly recommend this place for a relaxing chill out holiday as chayofa is a lovely place to stay

Excellent time

I had a wonderful stay at this villa. It is very large and has excellent amenities and the kitchen is well fitted out. Susanne the owner was lovely there was a welcome bottle of Cava and a chocolate cake. She even picked me up from the airport as there was a taxi strike. The communication before hand was superb and very quickly responded to. It doesn't have a pool but the hot tub is a nice place to sit and read any time day or night.I will certainly recommend this property and will look to come back next year ! Chris.

So impressed from the moment I walked in!!

Susanne was brilliant, right from the start (and even before holiday started). So helpful and always quick to respond to contact. The villa was breathtaking. Spotlessly clean. More spacious than I ever imagined. Had everything we could have asked for ie towels, cooking utensils, food/clothes storage etc. I went with a female friend for a quiet, relaxing break and it couldn't have been more perfect. As soon as we walked in the door we were already planning our next few holidays there as would be so perfect for family and group holidays. The village of Chayofa was perfect for us. Three lovely restaurants. The swimming pool is 2 minutes walk away and was everything you could ever want in a pool and terrace area. We got a bus into Los Christianos one day which took 10 minutes. We wanted a quiet holiday, but if you wanted nights out in the busier parts of Tenerife it is quick, easy and cheap to get there. A 5* holiday for 3* prices. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Susanne!!!

Quiet, comfortable and peaceful

The property is lovely and comfortable with 4 double en-suite rooms and a potential fifth with a sofa bed. The outside courtyard is a quiet, sunny place to relax and there are dining tables in the sun and in the shade. It is all well-equipped with kitchen gadgets, towels and a utility room for washing clothes. Suzanne was an amazing host. We were a family of five without a car rental, but we found the local buses and taxis easy to use. Suzanne kindly provided us with some essential groceries on arrival and drove us to the local supermarket on our first morning to stock up - this was much appreciated! The local area is very quiet and relaxed, and there are 3 restaurants about 3 minutes walk away. We tried them all: The Treehouse - a British pub restaurant, Meson Chayofa - a slightly pricier Canarian restaurant and a tapas bar with friendly staff. We enjoyed all of them! There is also a little shop up the hill past the Treehouse that sell essentials and has fresh bread, croissants and pastries each morning. If you are happy to holiday away from the hustle and bustle of a big town, I think Chayofa and this house are perfect!

Superb villa

I have just returned from my third stay at this fabulous villa. It is spacious, well equipped and for four women travelling together we can have not only a double bedroom each but an ensuite. Suzanne is so helpful and actually did some shopping for us as we were arriving in the evening. We have already booked for next year.

Here you find tranquility with a lovely view of mountains and Atlantic, yet you are only a few minutes by car from the most beautiful beaches and the well-known attractions of the island. Siam-Park, Europe's biggest water park, the Jungle Park, Finca del Arte and it's splendid programme of culture, 6 golf courses, all nearby.

What makes this property unique

Casa Maravilla is a great spot for getting to know the island and for every kind of sport, including golf, mountain biking, riding, tennis, go-kart track, diving, wind surfing, kite surfing, sailing, angling, deep sea fishing, swimming, walking, climbing etc.
The villa is very spacious. The furniture is new, modern and comfortable. In the tropical garden you have a hot tub, heated to 36 degrees.
There is also a private, heated swimming-pool just for the owners of Chayofa Baja. It is 18 x 6m large and in an extra plot located, 50m from Casa Maravilla away. You get your private key to enter the pool-area.
