Hi Diana If you had contacted me at the time I would have been able to sort something out for you. You didn’t give me a chance to rectify these problems you encountered. I have messaged Josh who looks after our house and I am currently waiting for his response. We had the house painted inside and out including all exterior walls just over a year ago to the cost of €4500. Sadly this isn’t something we can do annually and houses to get marks and scuffs all the time. The dining chair seats are washed twice a year when I’m there. People sit on them while wearing wet clothes which then makes the pad looked stained. I can assure you that it is just water marks and nothing else. People will carry on doing this so I don’t know what else I can do to avoid it other than go and buy new chairs but with no pad on them. I will look into this when I next go over. I buy new bedding, again annually, which does get stained from the suntan cream, fake tan and tinted moisturiser. I bleach the bedding every time I am there. If there are any stains left it gets thrown in the bin to try and avoid this. I will ask Josh about this. I don’t know why there would have been hairs on the towels. Again I will ask Josh about it. There is a dishwasher there and I do know people use it while on holiday. I will ask Josh to make sure he checks all the draws in future. Instead of leaving this awful review I would have bent over backwards to rectify any problems you encountered but you didn’t give me a chance to. I’m sorry this happened to you. Thanks Juliet

Thank you for your feedback and here is our response: We agree with you regarding the bed. My husband and I prefer a firm mattress but as you say it’s a personal choice. The shower is in need of an update but we have to prioritise upgrading works. In the last few years we have changed the three aircon units, all new blinds and curtains throughout the house, upgraded the pool shower, all new garden furniture and have increased the patio area. The next upgrade is a new sofa for the lounge. We totally disagree with you on the distance. You are either elderly or you went the long way round. By the way if you have blisters after walking such a short distance you need new shoes! You are the first person to complain about the location in 19 years of rentals. We think it is position A due to the proximity of the beach, Old Town and harbour and located on a quiet road. Thanks Juliet
