About this property

Modern Holiday Home a Few Minutes Walk from Beautiful Beach.

The property is a modern terraced holiday home situated on Freshwater Bay Holiday Park. The beach is only a five minute walk away.
There are two bedrooms, a double and the second with bunk beds. The bathroom has a walk in electric shower only. There is a lounge/ dining room with adjoining kitchen. All Electricity and heating are included. There is free WiFi and we have extended our personal Net Flix account so our guests can enjoy an inexhaustible choice of films during their holiday.
The chalet is our holiday home as well and we love it and the area. As we spend a lot of time there ourselves, we are able to trouble shoot and put right any faults, damage etc. Our reviews always say how well equipped and comfortable the chalet is. I believe this is because it is also our home which we enjoy sharing with our guests.
The Beautiful secluded beach of Freshwater East boasts a half mile stretch of safe, clean sand and is only a five minute walk away from the chalet.
The Longhouse Pub/ Restaurant caters for lunch and dinner, cafe type food, takeouts, parties, and functions. There are events all year round and it has a warm, friendly environment with enthusiastic and helpful staff.
There is a small shop which caters for everyday essentials.
The Longhouse also hires out Wet suits, Kayaks and Stand up Paddle Boards. There is free WiFi and Sky Sports.
The team at The Longhouse also teach diving at certain times of the year. Customers will need to check directly with The Longhouse to see when this is available and if they can book.
The beach allows barbecues. It is amazing to take a disposable barbecue down to the beach in the evening and cook your meal. Some people fish and cook their freshly caught fish on the beach.
The Pembrokeshire Way runs from both ends of the beach. This provides miles and miles of walks along the cliffs with breathtaking scenery along the way.
The Coastal Cruiser drives around the coast during the summer season, picking up and dropping people off along the coast. This enables walkers to walk a different part of the Coastal Path every day.
We believe Freshwater East provides a fantastic family holiday, one that will always be treasured for the memories and good times had by all.

A lovely little get away!

Lovely, clean, well equipped holiday accomodation ideally situated close to the Freshwater beach. The owner, Sarah, was helpful and attentive with communication at all stages. Jack's at the Longhouse, the onsite pub/ restaurant is a great amenity with a reasonable food offering at typical prices. Overall a good find!

We found the chalet clean and homely. The futon was a little uncomfortable but apart from that the chalet is well equipped and conveniently very close to beach which is what we wanted. The host is very good in responding and communicating.

Perfect gateway

The property is all you need, in fantastic coastal location. You feel like coming home from home. Property have everything you need for your stay and really nicely done. Freshwater East area is a quiet and good for relaxing. Not to far from amenities, and other touristic attractions. Contacting owners was very easy, and nothing to much troubles for Sarah to get done and help. I would highly recommend this place and looking forward to stay here again in the future. Freshwater East 2-bed chalet

The property was clean an d had everything we needed for a week's stay. The beds were comfortable but the sofa and bucket chairs were hard to sit on. Communication with the owner was excellent. . 5 mins walk to the beach which was great for small children paddling and sea shallow for quite a way out. The chalet was nicely decorated and welcoming with grass area at back to sit on or play. Take deck chairs as none available. Super coastal path walks from beach.

Familienurlaub August 2022

Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung Anfang August für 2 Wochen für 5 Personen (2 Erwachsene und drei Kinder Alter:14,13,11)gemietet, und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und abwechslungsreich. Wir haben viele Wanderungen auf dem Coast Path unternommen , und der Strand ist super schön. Für die Kinder ideal zum Schwimmen und zur Benutzung eines SUP. Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral, und eignet sich gut für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Der Ferienpark ist sehr sauber und leise. Man kann sich sehr gut erholen. Auf alle Rückfragen haben die Vermieter sehr schnell und ausführlich geantwortet. Wie können die Wohnung sehr weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank. Nadine

We are a family of 5, with 3 girls aged 6,8,and 10.
I am a staff nurse and my husband a maintenance engineer. We lead very busy lives and find our chalet the ideal place to unwind and catch up on quality family time. The chalet is a very special place for the girls, they have a fantastic beach on their door step and often make good friends with children from other chalets. They have nothing but good memories of our chalet, and describe buying it as 'the best thing we have ever done.'

Why they chose this property

We bought our Chalet, having stayed in one the year before. We loved the closeness of the beach being only a 5 minute walk. One of the best things, was to be able to walk along one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen after our evening meal.
Our holiday chalet is also our holiday home, we pride ourselves on providing those little homely touches often missed on more 'mass market' accommodation.
We have been coming back to Pembrokeshire for 5 years now, are are still discovering new attractions, beaches etc.
We love spending time in the area with our 3 children and stay at our chalet as often as we can. In this way we feel we never loose touch with the area or our property, and always have a personal interest in making it a comfortable and enjoyable base for a family holiday.

What makes this property unique

Only a 5 minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. On site facilities such as 'the Longhouse' a pub/ restaurant, also small shop which caters for beach gear, kayak and stand up paddle board hire and very basic grocery essentials.
The Chalet is a proper 2 story little house, offering far more flexibility of space and comfort then any static caravan. It is fantastic to be able to lie in bed at night and listen to the waves on the beach.
As far as we are aware, this is the only Holiday Home Park that has access right onto the beach with the exception of one Caravan Park which is more than twice the price.
