Great stay.
Though the single and master bedroom beds were very firm.

Thanks Suzy - glad you enjoyed your stay! We have invested in really good quality pocket sprung mattresses for all the beds, and so many guests ask for the manufacturer details, so sorry you didn't love them!
Lovely location with fantastic views. Owners very friendly and helpful. Hot tub a great bonus after long walks. We would highly rate the holiday accommodation and would definitely return.
Ideal location next to the relatively busy St Ives. Perfect family setting with easy access to St Erth’s train station for hassle free visits to St Ives with children. Looking forward to booking again next year.
This wonderful little cottage on the farm was so perfect for us. Clean, convenient to everything and Vicky was so helpful. If you want to stay in St Ives area and be away from the crowds when you get back, this is the place. Can’t wait to come back!
Splendidly away from it all but still close to St. Ives
Beautiful and extremely comfortable. Hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Easy comfort crowned by the hot tub. Also especially pleasing was the availability of an outside three pin plug to allow EV or PHEV charging.Back garden wonderful with views across to Tremcrom Hill
We enjoyed everything about the location, the cottage and the host Vicki was amazing. Thanks for the lovely Cornish scones, jam and clotted cream :) We also enjoyed the jacuzzi daily and the property comes with everything you need. A big plus was the BBQ and indoor fireplace. Everything was just perfect and we will be back. Highly recommend the Gannet, Birdie restaurant and the fish and chips in ST ives was amazing. Thanks for having us!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Beersheba Brea - it is a fantastic cottage fitted out to an exceptionally high standard. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly if you need them. The rural, scenic location makes it a peaceful place to unwind and it has the advantage of being within a short drive to all facilities and the lovely towns of Carbis Bay and St Ives. We will definitely be returning and thank you very much for the welcome pack.

Beautiful barn conversion.
Fantastic views from the hot tub.
A lawn to play games.
St Ives 10min drive (watch out for parking!)
Three Mile Beach truly epic.
Penzance and Land’s End in easy reach.
Thumbs up.
We stayed for 7 nights, and had a wonderful time. The cottage was so peaceful and made for a very relaxed atmosphere! The hot tub is a fantastic feature and was enjoyed by all!
The beds were very comfortable and clean. The location is safe and secure, and the view as you leave is one you won't forget. Andrew the host came over to see us on arrival and was very informative, and then left is to settle in. It was just what we all needed and no one wanted to leave! We will be back again! Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing holiday!

Thanks for the lovely review - so glad that you had such a good holiday!!
This property is very well laid out with plenty of room for the whole family. All the fixtures and fittings are of a high quality and standard. The thoughtful extras provided were very welcome and created a very comfortable stay.
the Cornish tea on arrival gave us a lovely start to our holiday.
We were a family of Grandparents, parents and two teenage boys. The whole family were catered for. Grandma is disabled, but was able to get around the house easily and with the rest of the family enjoyed the south facing garden. The boys particularly enjoyed the Hot tub!

Absolutely Perfect!
Beersheba Brea is the most idyllic place to spend time in Cornwall, away from it all, yet close to everything you need. Victoria has thought of everything that is needed for a perfect stay. The bed and linens are top quality and the bathrooms are absolutely lovely and very user friendly (posted instructions for guests outside of the UK). We opted to have the hot tub heated and were happy to sit in it after a day of sightseeing and enjoy the sunsets over the hills. We loved the single level home and accessibility it provided for the mobility challenged. The added bonus of having the food gifts from Cornwall was a wonderful and generous welcome. We would love to come back!!

Thanks Colleen - lovely to meet you both and I am so glad you enjoyed your stay and getting in touch with your Cornish heritage!
We had such an enjoyable stay at Beersheba Brea cottage. A stones throw from Carbis Bay and about a 5 minute drive to St Ives. We would highly recommend two local restaurants, Una Restaurant at Una Resort and La Casita....both just down the road from the cottage.
The cottage was impeccable with a lovely layout for a family, coupled with a good sized garden and the hot tub was such a bonus!
We would also recommend Onzo Pizzeria and The Balcony restaurant in St Ives along with Birdie's down the road on the way to Hayle for a fantastic breakfast/brunch!
Vicki and Andrew were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.....gorgeous cream tea upon arrival too!
We would highly recommended this cottage and would absolutely return in the future. Thanks V&A!

So glad that you enjoyed your stay - look forward to having you here again!
We really enjoyed our second stay at Beersheba Brea. This large cottage is in a lovely scenic rural location and only a short drive away from Carbis Bay and St Ives. The cottage is very clean, decorated to a high standard and is well equipped. Victoria and Andrew are close by and respond quickly if any assistance is required.
We will definitely be returning to Beersheba Brea.
The property is as advertised and was very well maintained. The owners were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great location with great views
Situated in the quiet countryside and with distant seaviews from the driveway. Comfortable beds, nice laundry but we would have found robes useful. The property was generally clean just with a couple of issues and the kitchen could do with an update.
There wasn't an information folder to recommend days out, places to go and eat etc which would have been useful and a visitor's book.
The weather was great but on a rainy day there is Una spa just over the road which allows children, day passes adults £20 and children £10. The Watermill near the station is popular for food, it's good but book. The food on Caribis Bay not so great and waits are long, so take a picnic. Eden project worth a visit, the lido at Penzance good and the sunset at Lands End is pretty spectacular!
Fantastic secluded farm cottage just outside St Ives. Renovated to the highest standards with many amenities including a hot tub in the private garden overlooking the Cornish hillsides. Highly recommend!
We loved everything about Brea. Away from the crowds but on a farm with a few other homes. Very private though and gorgeous countryside views to the front, along with a couple of horses just beyond the garden wall which we loved watching.
The place was spotlessly clean which is priceless to me. Great attention to cleaning every inch which just makes one feel comfortable and right at home. Easy to operate central heating and a log burner for this cooler nights. Super comfy beds!!
We all enjoyed the jacuzzi after long days out. So many great sites within an hour from the farm. On the day we arrived in Cornwall we stopped off at Newquay and St. Agnes. Great little restaurant called Taste in St. Agnes which serves a variety of seafood dishes.
We caught a train to St Ives & Carbis Bay, parking at St Erth for the day.
St Michael’s Mount (castle & gardens) is very close by car, a must see and a real bargain if you’re a national trust member.
Great walks along Botallack seeing all the old mines, then headed towards Cape Cornwall & Priest’s cove where there’s a gorgeous small tidal pool. Sennen cove is great for surfing and fantastic fish & chips at the old success inn.
Other gorgeous gems are Kynance Cove (check the tides before going) and Minack Theatre.
If you’re after a local breakfast spot, the old forge was great.
Brea is perfectly placed to have an incredible Cornwall holiday with the bonus of being home away from home. Thanks Vicki & Andrew!
We had such a lovely week in Cornwall and staying on this beautiful farm. Incredibly comfortable, great beds and very good facilities. We loved it. We hope to be back very soon.
The cottage was in an excellent position between Carbis Bay and St Ives. Both within walking distance along the coastal path. The cottage was well presented and well equipped. The owners, Andrew and Victoria, were very welcoming and we're responsive to requests without being intrusive. The hot tub was a nice way of relaxing after a long day of walking.
Hi Johana.
Sorry to read you were disappointed with the sea views. Brea Cottage sits a mile inland, in the middle of St Ives Bay and is closest to the spectacular north Cornish coast and all its lovely coastal walks. The best sea views over the north coast/St Ives Bay are visible when you explore the farm, as I advised prior to booking not "whilst sitting in the cottage". The south-facing cottage itself has a lovely view over the surrounding AONB, “across the countryside to Trencrom Hill and towards the far away south coast (small glimpse of the sea)”, again as advised prior to booking. You requested excellent accommodation and a peaceful place with a good view for your dad, and it was lovely to meet him and chat to him sitting in the sunny, south-facing garden enjoying the view.
I'm sorry that you felt it was expensive, your party of 3 stayed with us during our summer peak – and our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom property sleeps up to 6 comfortably. Perhaps a smaller cottage, at a less busy time would suit you better.
Thanks,
Andrew & Vicki.
A wonderful place to stay. A gorgeous cottage with a large garden. The luxury of the hot tub makes it feel that little bit more special, and offers beautiful sunsets at night . Great views of Carbis Bay and a lovely farm and woodland to walk around. Will definitely be booking again.

Thanks Gemma - glad you & all the family had a lovely stay!
Brea cottage Beersheba Farm was a lovely spot to stay. Out of the way for peace and quiet but only a short car trip to most nearby venues.
The place itself was lovely and cozy and we even braved the hot tub on a few occasions.
Victoria and Andy were great hosts and ensured we were well stocked with logs for the woodburner.
All in all I would highly recommend this property at any time of the year. There's plenty to do in the area.

Why they chose this property
If you like to be close to the beaches, the town of St Ives and the key attractions of West Cornwall, but want to come back and relax away from it all, our cottage gives you that opportunity.
Imagine waking up in the quiet of the countryside, looking out over the Cornish landscape and deciding where you would like to head today.
North coast, south coast, west to Land's End or inland to a gorgeous garden or historical site.
Just a great location to explore this incredible county, or just to kick back at the lovely cottage in the south facing garden or the hot tub.
What makes this property unique
A beautiful place to relax, with fantastic views from around the farm, and an endless choice of beaches and places to see within easy reach - stay as long as you can - you can't fit it all in in a week!
