A lovely cottage
Babingtons Cottage is wonderful. A rambling single story cottage with plenty of room for large parties, two living areas with fireplaces, and a kitchen that seemingly has everything you could possibly need.
Highly recommended!

Lovely cottage, great location
We had a really nice week at Babington's cottage. We had three generations, two kids/adults/grandparents, and the size and layout was perfect, and was particularly convenient for the less mobile grandparents. it was a great location, and we enjoyed day trips to Edinburgh, Alnwick Castle, Berwick, Floors Castle, and a particular favourite, Chillingham Castle. Lots of nice pubs around, and particularly enjoyed the breakfast special deal from the local butcher, which fed the whole family. Cottage was lovely and clean, and had fantastic views. Would love to visit again, and would definitely recommend to friends.

I am really pleased you enjoyed your stay at Babingtons Cottage and your trips to local landmarks. The cottage is in an idyllic rural location and still close enough for many day trips as you have done. I did not realise the local butcher did a 'special breakfast deal' and I will certainly recommend this to future guests. Thank you for your great review and hopefully you may return.
Best wishes.
