Peaceful, semi secluded, 2 bed villa set in a landscaped garden to the front, side and rear with covered terrace at the front for dining & relaxing, with views across to the adjoining mountains. The side garden & terrace seating/play area, provides room for children to create their own play area. A shaded BBq area, leading to a secluded rear garden terrace and swimming pool.

NEW 2023

A 7m x 4m pool was installed in 2023 along with a new surrounding terrace.

A shaded dining or early evening relaxing area for drinks, overlooks the swimming pool & garden area with its plant and featured rockery, with scenic views to mountains and the sea in the far distance.

Lovely pool, quiet and amazing views

Just returned from a lovely week. The owners were very accommodating allowing us a fifth guest. The double bed was super comfy and the place very well equipped. We all loved the pool and was very refreshing after a day seeing the sights. Loved sitting out front on the covered porch every evening always with a nice breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Villa was fine .Pool and surrounds were great however location was extremely quiet. Having passed through Aigues before a few years ago we had expected some bars /restaurants in the village however most were closed and only 2 opened with opening hours very much dependant upon owners wishes. Definitely recommend a car. Drive to beach was a bit of a white knuckle ride however for a meal/shops etc it was essential. On the plus side scenery was breathtaking and apart from the frequent drive to coast the holiday was relaxing.

Had a lovely 5 days away at Barry’s beautiful villa.Barry went above and beyond from communication to a lovely welcome pack.He arranged for his friend Peter to collect and take us back to the airport for a reasonable charge.Peter was lovely.Candy also helped us while we were away with taxis as it is a bit remote as in the mountains and we didn’t rent a car.And was happy to call around to find us a taxi and book activities if we wanted.Overall a wonderful holiday.Thankyou to you all.John and Sue

The villa is in a quiet street on the edge of the village. The interior was perfect for the 2 of us and had everything we needed. The outside area is exceptional with a great private pool and fantastic mountain views. The village has a couple of café/bistros at present but unfortunately the new restaurant was opening on the last day of our holiday. However its only a short drive to El Campello with numerous shops, cafés and restaurants. Communication with owner and property manager in the village was excellent and helped us out with information and any issues we had. We had a really great 3 week holiday in the villa and made some friends in the area also so will definitely be back at some time in the future.

Candy was heel vriendelijk , huis was een half open bebouwing. We hoorde muziek en gesprekken mee van de buren. Huis is kleiner dan op foto. We hadden het groter verwacht. woonkamer was heet dus nauwelijks goed vr in te lounge. Zwembad was oke . Regio is heel erg rustig.

Segun llegamos tras horas de coche no habia mas que 2 trozos de papel de wc.En la cocina habia restos de cereales en la encimera, el espejo del wc sucio. Ibamos a cenar barbacoa pero resulta que era inaccesible porque habia un arbol delante de la misma.Compramos unas pizzas y al ir a hacerlas el horno y la bandeja de dentro muy sucios, con una mancha de grasa que al encenderlo echaba humo.La persona que nos atendio nos dijo que ese mismo dia habian limpiado la piscina pero debia ser la superficie, el fondo con mucha tierra y hojas.Para mejorar del todo al despertarnos mi mujer y yo la mañana siguiente vimos a nuestras hijas dormidas de mala manera en el sofa del salon y resulta que se habian asustado porque habia cucarachas en su cuarto en el suelo y el techo al lado del aire acondicionado.LAMENTABLE.Tuve que ir a comprar trampas y ponerlas y cambiarlas varios dias y encima mentir a mis hijas diciendo que ya no habia nada cuando las trampas salian llenas.Como padre el sentimiento de tener que mentir a tus hijas cuando llevas 1 año ahorrando para las vacaciones es terrible y el verlas con miedo peor aun.(IMPERDONABLE)Otra cosa importante es que dicen que esta a 10 min en coche de la playa..., esta arriba de una montaña con curvas de 2 velocidad y 20km/H hay minimo conociendo el camino bien 25 min hasta el Campello.Si os mareais olvidaros,Lo unico bueno que tuvimos es una vecina que era un encanto y nos ayudo con todos los problemas.Tenemos fotos de todo por si ahora lo niegan.

Séjour agréable malgré quelques points à améliorer... L'état de la terrasse est à revoir (clous qui sortent et planches de bois cassées), la climatisation doit être remplacée (l'un des appareils goute et le deuxième n'émet que de l'air tiède). L'accès à la piscine est compliqué (piscine à l'arrière du bâtiment et porte à l'avant..) pas pratique avec des enfants. Sinon literie au top et wifi super. Pour moi, ce n'est pas adapté avec des enfants en bas âge.

La casa está en una urbanización muy tranquila y agradable por el fresquito que hace, en cuanto a la casa hemos de decir que necesita cierta inversión para mejorarla, la piscina necesita mejoras (sabemos que están en ello) el baño también necesita un arreglo, el aire acondicionado de la habitación grande no funcionaba…creemos que con un poco de inversión estaría mucho más confortable la casa. El dueño y la chica que nos atendió son muy amables.

Una casa encantadora

Nos hemos alojado con mis hijas y hemos estado muy a gusto. La casa está muy bien y se está muy fresquito y a gusto. Deberían mejorar algunos pequeños detalles que harían la estancia más completa pero repetiría. La casa está en la montaña, lugar muy tranquilo y para acercarse a la playa hay que pasar por un pequeño puerto durante unos diez minutos pero la tranquilidad y la temperatura compensa.

lovely villa ,exactly what it states on the web site ,we had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay at the villa ,could not fault it ,had everything in the villa that we wanted and it felt very welcoming and homely .The mountain breeze was just right to keep you cool and aigues is only a 5 minute walk for the local shops and restaurants and the supermakets are 10 minutes drive in el campello,,the neighbours are very friendly would definitely recommend this villa. We are having a great time in this charming villa!

This small romantic villa was perfect for our summer vacation this year. It is situated up in the mountains, the weather is a little bit cooler there and the view is breathtaking. The villa is surrounded by a lovely garden and a fence, which gives it privacy. This is exactly what we were looking for. There is a small private swimming pool in the back yard, which is handy for cooling the parents and for entertaining the kids all day long. The villa is equipped with all the basic things you'll need for your stay. In addition, you'll feel safe here and the neighbourhood is very friendly. The calm and relaxed El Campello beach is only at a 10 minute drive from the villa. The area is charming and features many coffee shops, bistros and souvenir shops. Walking there in the evenings is refreshing. We are having a great time in this charming villa and will most definitely rent it again in the future.

Got slightly lost with the directions but a quick call guided us there quickly. Being our first villa holiday with our 2 children we needed a comfatable home for the week within a short travel from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm and Alicante.Kids loved the Pool and amenities were great. A relaxing retreat

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We chose to walk into the village and not have a car but I think this would not be ideal for most people. The village of Agues is traditionally Spanish and the playa of El Campello is not to far away. Barry was great and arranged transfers and a welcome food and drink pack (which was VERY welcome!) for our arrival. His maintenance guy Peter was helpful and great value as airport transfer. The villa is clean, bright and airy and the facilities were excellent! Good aircon, cooking facilities etc... thanks Barry for a lovely holiday let!

Unfortunately I live in England with my moaning husband (ooh yes! he's always dreamed of living there and wants to be there every chance he gets! (I can't really blame him) & our 2 beautiful little boys 11 and 7yr old. (They absolutely love it there too) My husband and I both work, but try to spend most of our holidays in Spain.

We have a lot of friends there in the surrounding area having been there since 2003. we have recently decided to let our home in Aguas for a number of reasons, one fact being the little boys have started new schools now, so we are limited to travel.





Why they chose this property

We looked at numerous places along the Costas & decided on a peaceful mountain village location and in particular Aguas, with its mountain views and peaceful village location where we can safely go for walks down to the central part of the village. The village is monitored regularly by The Guardia and our local friend "Antonio" the local Policia. Giving a further feeling of security in the area.

We get the best of both worlds,being only half an hour from Alicante Airport, The City of Alicante & the holiday resort of Benidorm.

The area is really fantastic because there are so many options for you to choose from in respect to what you really want from a holiday. It gives us as a family a great deal to choose from to keep all four of us occupied.

What makes this property unique

The village provides us with all our shopping and living needs and really if we didn't want to drive any where and just relax there in the garden around the pool,then we can do just that.

Then from the village we only have a ten minute drive down to the Beach & Marina and all the facilities a town can offer.

Its great to wake up in the morning as the sun comes over the hills and to know you'll be sat on the terrace having breakfast and watching the kids either playing in the garden or even safely joining in playing with the local kids on the street outside.
