About Frank Bruce
We are a Scottish family who love Skye!
Frank Bruce purchased this cottage in 2005
Why Frank Bruce chose The Hebrides
We fell in love with Vatten Cottage because of its especially peaceful location. We could simply open the doors and let the boys play outside, and walk off in any direction to get a wonderful view of the Cuillins or MacLeods tables. At night there are often fantastic clear views of the Milky Way. We are all into history and the island is full of traces of a fascinating past. In particular there are many prehistoric remains within easy reach.
What makes this cottage unique
Location overlooking the water. Down a long track off the road. Cosy cottage with open fire. Original artwork. Spectacular views. Exceptionally peaceful.
