This beautiful traditional chalet was built in 2001 and is a much-loved family second home. It is comfortably furnished and can easily accommodate up to three families. The views from the chalet are outstanding, looking across uninterrupted to Mont Blanc and the Aiguilles du Midi. It is at the end of a private road, making it very quiet, and very safe for children, with space to run around outside in the large back garden and ample tobogganing opportunities. All towels and linen, as well as cleaning, are included in the cost.

Combloux is a short walk away, with excellent bakeries, shops, small supermarket and a choice of restaurants. It boasts France's first ecological swimming lake - a great place to relax in the summer.

Megeve is a 10 minute drive away and has a large selection of superb restaurants. The whole area offers a whole range of winter and summer activities - skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, white water rafting, horse riding - and all in the most amazing Alpine scenery.

Chalet - spacious, warm and welcoming.Two families stayed here and had a wonderful time, perfect location for restaurants, ski rental, walks.Layout of house, meant we could all eat together and spend time together, while still having our own private spaces. Children loved the table tennis area and adults loved the sauna. Good for snow days, where some could still relax and sledge.

Wonderful chalet

A very large, well equipped and comfortable chalet. The underfloor heating is wonderful. Staying there with young grandchildren was easy. Combloux is a very nice ski resort, ideal for beginners, and the proximity of Megève for glamour, and a short drive to a ski lift leading to the more difficult slopes of Mont d’Arbois makes it a perfect location.The host was easily contacted and all the informations were clear and helpful.Overall we have a fabulous stay in this chalet and will certainly return, this time with the whole family as it sleeps 14!

Wonderful Chalet surrounded by stunning nature

We were five friends who rented this lovely chalet for the Tour The France week. I must say the chalet is even nicer than it looks in the pictures, and everything worked smoothly both before and during our stay. The view from the chalet must be seen to be believed, and everything inside is in perfect condition. Unless you are looking for a nearby party atmosphere I will highly recommend this Chalet for a perfect holiday in the French Alps

Excellent stay

We loved to stay at this house. It was spacious , clean , extremely well equipped with good beds and lovely showers and communication was very good. Not to forget the ski boot warmers :) Because of the snow our kids could do some tobagging in the garden. Also because of the snow we needed the snow chains but so did almost everybody in combloux so no problems there . We already booked for next year I guess that says it all.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce splendide chalet, nous étions 13 un enfant de 10 ans, trois ados et 9 adultesUn vrai confort, cheminée, sauna et surtout une grande cuisine ouverte sur la salle à manger, avec une grande table. Sans oublier la table de ping-pong après le ski.Merci Paul pour votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse, sans oublier Corinne qui nous a reçu à l’arrivée et était la au départ. les petits et les grands ne sont pas prêts d’oublier cette semaine. Excellent chalet pour l'été

Spacieux et fonctionnel, le chalet est très agréable pour l'été et offre une vue magnifique sur le Mont-Blanc. Serait parfait si le barbecue était nettoyé. L'accès en voiture est délicat et rend ce chalet probablement impraticable pour l'hiver.

Chalet de très grande qualité…. Excellent emplacement: vue superbe sur le massif du Mont Blanc,à 5 minutes à pied du centre de Combloux et des départs de randonnées. Très bien équipé. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec des literies de qualité. Excellent accueil par l’ami du propriétaire. Je recommande cette location. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille.

Wij hebben een bijzonder fijne week gehad in dit huis in Combloux . De woning is ruim en gezellig. De buitenruimte was prima. (Een vrij groot balkon). Het buiten meubilair kon wat beter. Voor 11 personen was de tafel wat te klein. Maar dit was geen al te groot bezwaar. Het uitzicht op de Mont Blanc is fenomenaal. De ligging net iets buiten het dorp was prima. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Perfect location in Combloux

Ten family and friends recently spent a week in this property for a ski holiday. Photos on site don’t do justice to property as it is beautiful with superb accommodation and stunning views of Mont Blanc region. Communication with owner was great and property manager (Bertrand) was on hand to help/offer advice in the location. Ten minute drive to ski resorts, similar walking time to lovely bars, restaurants and shops. Sauna was an added bonus for some of our group after a hard day’s skiing. Cannot fault the property and would love the chance to book again. Iain

Chalet très bien, très agréable, très propre. Nous étions 13 personnes + 2 bébés. Chalet assez grand pour nous tous, les enfants pouvaient jouer sans nous déranger. Chalet bien situé avec une très belle terrasse ensoleillée et une superbe vue sur le Mont-Blanc. Nous avons été ravi de notre séjour. Merci aussi pour la très grande disponibilité du propriétaire. Fantastic week in beautiful chalet!

We very much enjoyed our stay is this cosey and spacious chalet. Combloux is a nice village , bakery and stores on walking distance. Very nice valley for skiing as well, we will come back for sure!

Esther and Paul live near Oxford in England, but have been skiing in the Megeve area every year for 25 years with our kids. We also come out regularly in summer for swimming and mountain walking. Esther is Spanish, but is fluent in French as well.

Why they chose this property

This is a very large chalet, only one hour from Geneva airport, which can easily accommodate three families with room to spare. It has a very large open living area, with fireplace, a large dining table at one end and TV with access to French and UK satellite channels, and sofas at the other end. There is a stunning view of Mont Blanc from the terrace and dining area. There is a large garden directly behind the chalet that provides a slope for tobogganing. Childrens' highchairs and cots are available on request.
The chalet is 500m from the centre of Combloux. From here there is a free shuttle bus ("Navette") to all the ski areas, so it is possible to access the skiing without a car. The quickest and best access to the Evasion ski area, is only 1 minute by car from the chalet. You can easily walk into Combloux where there are many restaurants, shops and a small supermarket. Chamonix is a 30 minute drive from Combloux, Annecy approximately one hour.
The tarif for the chalet includes all linen, towels and cleaning.
