Lovely place to stay. Very clean and welcoming apartment. Great communication with lovely hosts Elanor and Neville. It’s in the centre of Horning opposite the New Inn pub. Would highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back
To be honest the owner was brilliant I thought she would of put some balloons up or a banner as was our wedding. The shower was not very powerful it kept going intermittently Could not get oven to work due to on a timer no instructions. Windows were dirty as to open them cobweds and spiders in themReally could do with a wardrobe in the bedroom in the alcove also light at sude of bed did not work and the radiator in lounge did not workOnly 4 cups and two were chipped so we brought our own Shower attachment to put shampoo etc on was brokenIt all needs updating to be honest very dull in their Owner really nice and good communication.Would i stay again no Position is brilliant my family rented another 3 properties and they were fab Ower offered to get her or her cleaner in but we said no due to having all our wedding things their Debbie & Alan
Although the property was shown it was much darker than shown and not helped by the occasional lighting. We dislike overhead lights but with minimal windows and inadequate floor lights in both rooms it was dark. Did leave 2 days early because of pain not apt. fault.
We had a lovely 4 night stay. Pet friendly and extremely convenient for local pubs. Great communication from owner and very clean and tidy. Had a lovely welcome basket as well. We definitely stay again.
Nice little away, everything was just perfect from the accommodation to the surrounding area. Communication was excellent when booking. Definitely worth a stay. And would book again.
Accommodation was very good and owner very helpful when we asked if we could park our car under the carport. Heating etc very efficient and everything was supplied that was needed.. Have no hesitation in booking again.
Fantastic few days away, luckily before we all got locked in.
Easy to find very clean, ideal for the two of us and the dog.

Clean and comfy in perfect location
Just got back from 2 weeks here and when we arrived the owners where staying upstairs in the property and while they where there they couldnt do enough for us. Brought us clean bedding before they left and even let us use the car port. The pictures dont do the place justice. Its a stones throw away from new inn and the waters edge it was perfect and will definitely be back!

The house is well situated for access to food drink and the Norfolk broads experience.

Spacious House Lovely Views
This is a beautiful, spacious house which sleeps 10 + 2 comfortably. The owners have just opened it up as a full house which means it has two sitting rooms, two kitchens, three shower rooms and one bathroom. The terrace has stunning views over the River Bure and it is great to people watch. We rented this property for a week for the whole family and we had a great time. It is right in the middle of the famous Lower Street with all the amenities nearby. Would recommend to any family looking for a relaxing time away.

Exhilarating!
I recently spent a long weekend in this apartment. It was neat, clean and tidy and cosy for two people but could stretch to four. Very comfortable bed, adequate bathroom and neat kitchen. The lounge was modern bright and airy although I hardly used it as there was so much to do and see. The little extras of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was very welcome especially on arrival. I met the owners who were very friendly and welcoming. It was in a lovely position overlooking a mooring area on the edge of the local pub grounds where boating activity could be seen any time of day. As for Horning, what a lovely unspoilt corner of the world. I never tired of discovering (mostly on foot with my dog) the pubs, shops, tea shops, beautiful properties and many other tucked away places. Everyone I met was very warm and friendly and l felt Horning was a very safe place to be even on your own. I enjoyed a visit to Wroxham Barns (lovely restaurant here.) For those with children, Bewilderwood adventure park is about a 5 min drive away. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment and indeed Horning itself. I hope to return very soon.

About the host
Hosted by Eleanor de Goni Parks
Neville and Eleanor live in Suffolk but spend most of their leisure time on the Norfolk Broads in Horning.
Why they chose this property
We have always loved the Norfolk broads as we enjoy being near the riverside and it is so relaxing watching all of the different sailing boats pass by. Horning is a very friendly place with something for everyone, Neville loves cruising, dining out in the specialist fish restaurant in Horning and of course socialising in his favourite Pubs, which also serve great food. Our local pubs are The New Inn, The Ferry Inn and The Swan, they are all on the waterfront and greet you with a warm welcome when you enter. My grandchildren love Bewilderwood and the local swimming pool just along the road from Tracara, I love shopping in Wroxham and Norwich, the fabulous Spa at Sprowston Manor is only 15 mins away and there you can pamper, swim or just enjoy the fabulous surroundings.
