This comfortable home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood in Fife, Washington.
Just 1 mile off of I-5 in Fife, you'll find this home just a short distance away from Downtown Tacoma. In the north-end of this city you'll find the Ruston Way Waterfront, Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, along with a variety of restaurants to please the most discerning pallet. This area boasts miles of walkways for biking/running/rollerblading if you are ready for some outdoor adventure. Additional local attractions include, Chihuly Glass Museum, LeMay Car Museum, Tacoma Dome along with the Western Washington Fairgrounds in Puyallup if you happen to be here in September. For those that ski, Crystal Mountain Ski Resort is approximately 1 hour east along with the Mt. Rainier National Park which has drive-able site seeing, and world class hiking.

Just 30 miles north you'll find the City of Seattle. Seattle, is surrounded by water, mountains and evergreen forests, that encompass thousands of acres of parkland (hence its nickname, "Emerald City"). It’s home to a thriving tech industry, with Microsoft, and Amazon headquartered in its metropolitan area. The futuristic Space Needle, a legacy of the 1962 World’s Fair, is its most recognizable landmark. Pike Place Market is a public market, one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States, and overlooks the Elliott Bay waterfront; a "must see" when visiting Seattle.

Both Queen beds have a duvet cover and are on a laundry cleaning schedule. Unless you have soiled it, do not take apart to clean it.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The Back Awning should not be extended in high winds and should be rolled up each night

Please follow check out procedures when leaving the house. They are located on the table behind the sofa in the family room.

Make sure garbage and (Recycling or Yard Waste) can is placed on curb Monday nights

Our Great Seattle Vacation!

We truly enjoyed or Vacation! The home was a perfect fit for us. Each room was very spacious. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the TV room to relax and enjoy a movie, etc in the evening. We would absolutely rent this home again!

Thank you for choosing our family home. Our parents purchased this home in the late 1990’s as both their adult children had moved south of Seattle and they did not want to miss seeing their grandchildren grow up without having them close. For almost 20 years our mom and dad traveled in their motorhome back and forth to Arizona using this home as their convenient base of operations. You will find that we have left items that will make your stay feel more like you are at home. The back yard flower gardens and bird feeders are expressions of our mom’s love of the outdoors and our native birds, we hope you have a chance to enjoy. We will try to feed our winged guests during the summer months and hope you see one’s you’ve never seen before. We have shared many family events here in this home and want you to share in the joy we have had. Please let us know if we can assist in any way to make your stay more enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

We are a large rambler so getting around for our older guests is very easy. We sleep six (6) people in regular beds but also have an inflatable queen bed for those extra two people who didn't want to stay home. The location of our home is also ideal with Seattle to the north, Tacoma and Gig Harbor to the South and Mt. Rainier to the East. All short drives from the driveway of our house.

What makes this property unique

You will find every little thing in our house since our parents used to live there. From all the nick knacks that your may have in your kitchen to a beautiful back yard, you'll never know your at a rental. It will feel like your home!!
