Really wanted to give it 5 stars but couldn’t as I was surprised there was a full flight of 10 steps down, had I known that wouldn’t have rented it with bum knee. See pics.Fantastic host responses resolving minor issues at the start.Great location, transportation, and fantastic food around. Always felt safe.A comfy bed, the love seat was replaced awhile ago by the looks of it with now old futon (see pic). The sofa itself was also uncomfortable to sit on as it sagged towards the middle.The interior of the place was clean-except a spider was waiting on the living room ceiling to greet me, I found it necessary to remove all kinds of spider webs (active and old) from around the front door frame.I would not rent again because it’s a basement unit (stairs) and I tend to do monthly stays so want something that has comfortable seating. P.S. the app wouldn’t let me rate various aspects with a 5. Everything except cleanliness and matches listing deserves a 5. I expected the living room to look like the pics and it to be a street level as the pics seemed to show. I took pics of the description when booked and nothing about the steps/basement unit nor is there now.It would be a great place for quick trips were I younger but not suitable for long term stay. I would not stay again.

Great location!

Wonderful time staying at the property. I had everything I needed for a week long holiday. The location was great for visiting Camden Market or for catching transport around the city.

Great place close to everything via tube or rail. Lloyd was super responsive when the Americans had a battle with the British lock on the door ;). No huge list of cleaning etc required before we left. Clean place lots to do in area and beyond. Would recommend Lloyd as a host.

Perfect place to stay!

We loved our time in Lloyd's apartment. Being in the heart of Camden Town it was close to everything... pubs, restaurants, the tube, grocery shops, all within walking distance. The flat was clean, comfortable & had everything we needed for our week long stay. Highly recommend.

Great for a couple of weeks in London

The apartment has everything we needed, is located in a very convenient place for checking out the many things to see and do around London. The street is surprisingly quiet considering its location. Plenty of good restaurant options and grocery shopping nearby. Lloyd is a wonderful host, very responsive to any questions

Very pleasant place

My husband and I highly enjoyed our stay. The location was great, within a short walk of the Camden Town tube station. I would highly recommend it for researchers who plan to visit the British Library. The bedroom faces a small courtyard garden and so is very quiet.

The flat is in a FANTASTIC location! This is our 3rd trip to London in as many years and this is my favorite. Overground is 2 mins, Underground about 7. Sainsbury's is 5 min walk, many shops and restaurants. Everything you need to cook is available. Had a hiccup with the Netflix which Lloyd sorted immediately. We will definitely be back.

Home away from home!

We loved being able to cook our own mesls and wash & dry our clothes! It’s the simple things that make a stay relaxing and enjoyable. Location was excellent, caught buses everywhere as this is my preference. Owner Lloyd was fabulous to deal with & we were able to get into our flat early which was great.

Camden Town

We had a great stay at this property; enough room for a family of 4 and all the amenities we needed. Perfect base to explore London and thriving Camden Town. Great local pubs to have an afternoon pint. Lloyd was a perfect host communication was easy & we appreciated the earlier check in after a very long flight.

Great location for a nightlife getaway

It was comfortable. Well stocked but oh boy, does it need some fans for the hot months. Could have been a bit cleaner as well. Loved the music vibe.

Great host, great location

We very much enjoyed our stay in this cool apartment. Very good location with dozens of bus connections and the tube and overground around the corner. The apartment is well equipped, including helpful things such as salt, pepper, sandwich bags, shower gel. Lloyd answered every message within minutes - thank you!

Great Place to Stay

The Camden house was a great home base for our 10 days in London. The double bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking supper every night. The grocery stores were nearby as well as the tube and bus stations. The house could have been cleaner around the edges, but in general it was fine. Camden is definitely an interesting neighborhood filled with many people, and we felt safe during our stay. Also, the house is very quiet considering that is so near the hub of activity. Thanks Lloyd!!

Great For a Long Term Stay

I stayed for a full month. Easy access to a huge grocery store and plenty of bus stops and tube station. The flat was fully equiped with everything you need you "live" there, including a washer and dryer (a lot of places only have a washer but no dryer). About the only thing I would suggest as room for improvement would be the bedding. The bed and pillows are hard and lumpy and probably should be replaced. The linens and what not were fine.

Great flat, great location!

Location is superb. Off the main road so it’s not noisy from foot or vehicular traffic but so close to every where you want to go in Camden. Camden Town tube is a half kilometer away. Lots of restaurants, grocery stores and shops at your fingertips. The flat itself is fantastic. Nicely arranged, and the rooms are ample. Very good security as there is a locked gate to access the building. The flat has all of the amenities needed for both short term and long term stays. Communication with the owner was excellent. I was, in fact, moving to London and the owner provided sound advice for all of my queries and pointed me to resources to explore further. Highly recommend!

Comfortable and well-situated apartment

This apartment is roomy and perfect for a week long vacation in London. The living room area is ample and comfortable. I personally loved the rock n' roll vibe of the decor. The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for your stay, if you want to stay in and cook you can. All the utensils, plates and implements are there to make a meal. The bedroom is roomy and has a comfortable bed and leads out to garden area. The bathroom is roomy and has a nice big tub, which is great to soak in at the end of full day of exploring London. There is a washer and dryer which is great so you can go home with clothes that are ready to unpack and put away. The apartment smelled clean and was clean. Neighborhood was quirky in a good way. There are lots of great places to eat, more than you can get to in a one week visit. The tube and bus stop are VERY nearby and they connect to every area within London and both can connect you to the Euston station, which connects you to the national rail system. The owner, Lloyd was very responsive and was super flexible with arrival and departure time. I recommend this flat if you are headed into London. I would definitely rent here again for a future visit.

Wat een heerlijke plek in Camden! Dichtbij alle voorzieningen: bus, metro, supermarkt en restaurants om de hoek, ontbijt voor de deur en typische Londense mash en pie aan de overkant van de straat! We gingen een beetje terug in de tijd met de ruime cd en dvd collectie van de eigenaar maar konden ook gewoon streamen op de tv! Het smalle bed slaapt heerlijk ook al zijn we zelf een king size bed gewend! Kortom we beleven dit huis aan. Snelle verbindingen naar het centrum en de buiten wijken van Londen.
