About this property
Perfect Rural Retreat - Turnip House
Turnip House is a traditional stone built Cumbrian Bank Barn converted to the highest standard and finish. True luxury for a romantic weekend break or relaxing holiday. A multitude of interesting walks from the door and a traditional pub five minutes away in the centre of the village. A real away from it all cottage with every facility you'd need for the perfect break, bluetooth speakers for your music, free 80Mb broadband, slipper bath, double power shower, under floor heating in the bathroom. The bedroom features a slipper bath, oak is the timber of choice and the exposed oak floors enhance the contemporary interior design. Visitors return time and time again, some using it as their 'special place' for a honeymoon. Ideally located to visit all of the norths natural wonders, The Lakes, Yorkshire Dales, Northern Pennines as well as The Roman Wall, Durham Cathedral, Bowes Museum, York Minster.
