The flat was very clean and checkin was easy. Location was excellent, being in close proximity to the train station. All the highlights of the city were within walking distance. The “Welcome” gifts were very much appreciated!

The apartment was comfortable and had everything to make it a real home from home. Possibly the best apartment we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot. It's location was also excellent, just a short walk to the centre of York.

This apartment was perfection! Beautifully decorated and had everything you would need! Definitely, a home away from home. Walking distance to downtown was easy. Restaurants and a bakery were right across the street. Host’s communication was prompt and pleasant. Instructions were simple and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable visit. We didn’t want to leave and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit. 6 stars!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautifully maintained and exceptionally well-equipped two-bedroom holiday flat. Everything had clearly been thought of, making it feel comfortable, stylish, and very much a home from home. The location was perfect too, just a ten-minute stroll from York’s main attractions, with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. Highly recommended for anyone visiting York.

Good location and free parking

We enjoyed our visit to York and the Bedford Mews location was convenient for seeing the sights. Free parking was a real plus.

Wonderful stay.

The apartment is clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Location is great, a ten minute walk to St Peter’s, old town with restaurants and grocery nearby. A plus is the bakery directly across the street. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely, spacious apartment close to all of York’s major sites. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking a meal. Loved the heated drying rack! Highly recommend this spot.

Lots of equipment in kitchen, beds v comfortable, showers too, second stay here and would definitely recommend.Some minor improvements would be addition of a coffee table in lounge and wardrobes in bedroom, also a manual for the microwave which us numpties couldn’t workout how to use

Fabulous property close to the centre

Comfortable, large well presented apartment which is extremely well equipped. Self catering would be a very viable option as everything necessary is provided. Probably the best equipped we have ever rented.

Lovely property, Great location, Fantastic Hosts

Alison and Ellen could not have been better hosts. The property is immaculate and they provided everything to get our break off to a great start. The property is a ten minute walk max to the centre so once you are there a car is not needed for your time in York. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Next time we are in York this would be our base again.

Super location and nice spacious apartment.

Super location, easy walk to bar walls and city. Nice spacious apartment and a bonus having two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Owner is lovely and really caring. Only FYI really is that you are on a busy main road, so if you have to open windows and secondary glazing, it will be noisy, but it wouldn’t deter me from staying there.
