Our family purchased this property about 18 years ago. The two story white house on the street was our home for 9 years. We subdivided the 3 acre property, sold the original home and kept the remaining 2 plus acres of land. We enjoyed raising our family here with horses, dogs, and the freedom to ride our ATV and motorcycles on the property. In the winter we'd use our ATV to pull our kids and grand kids on sleds or tubes around the pastures. We always had a large garden and enjoyed fresh produce.

I've always had a dream of building a very energy efficient home. This home is build using Structure Insulation Panels, which are 6" thick and is sealed air tight. The attic has foam insulation blown on the underside of the roofing sheeting to complete the air tight sealing of the home. The home is warm, quiet and is draft free. A whole house water purification system was also installed, giving beautiful drinking water and eliminates chlorine from showers and taps. It's a beautiful home and I'm sure you will love it as we do.
What makes this Apartment unique
It is very unusual that a middle class family such as ours, could afford to live on over 2 acres of land 10 to 15 minutes from a major downtown area. The area around us has a rural feel with 1/2 acre and larger lots around us. Horses and large gardens abound in our community. Yet east across I15 freeway, just 1/2 mile away you have all the amenities you'd expect in an urban area. Come relax in our country setting after a days activity. Sit on your covered deck and enjoy the mountain views, or watch the horses grazing in the pastures around you. Plenty of parking for your vehicle and trailer, making this property a perfect spot to stage all your activities from.

A Beautiful Home Away
We had a great experience. We stayed for a week during a convention in SLC . Everything about the property was great. We had a great deck out back that overlooked the yard and could see the horses, donkey and roosters next door. The donkey was always reliable for a good laugh!! It’s a very spacious and bright home, just like advertised. Robert is very accommodating and quick to respond as well. I would stay here again.
Our original plan was to rent a car but didn’t end up doing that so it was about a 25 minute walk to the FrontRunner train into SLC then a quick jump off at North Temple and jump on the green line to the convention centre but was super easy. Note that the green line goes to the airport as well. Lyft was also very reasonable up to West Bountiful- approximately $18 from airport or Convention Centre area.

Was nice place
It was nice, feel in such a beautiful location there were too many rules for my grandkids to visit and go outside. I had such a great experience in Dan Diego with owners, disappointed they never ever met us and lived in same building. Would use it again, just fewer expectations!

Clean, large space
We were pleasantly surprised at how large this space is. It was clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.
We stayed for 2 weeks, totally enjoyed the property.
The space and storage was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable! The horses, roosters and even the occasionally loud donkey delighted our Granddaughter. Don’t worry though the house is pretty soundproof so it was very quiet for sleeping in! We loved the ceiling fan and the very comfortable living room furniture. Our son had to sleep on the cot 2 nights and he was comfortable. The view of the mountains and neighboring horse stables made the balcony enjoyable and the relaxing. Truth in advertising requires me to say you have a refinery not far away. We did not notice any noxious fumes. Truly a very nice place!
Beautiful home and great location
One of the easiest and nicest places I've stayed. Great communication with owner and hosts and very accommodating with my extension of dates. Beautiful apartment, very private and quiet. Location is great for commute in to downtown or north. Dogs loved the enclosed run to stretch their legs often and relaxing on the upper balcony. Highly recommend this place.
If you love to cycle, legacy trail, a 25 mile paved trail access is only 1/2 block away from our home. No need to load the bikes on your car, ride right from our garage. Head east on 400 North in front of the home, go 1/2 block and you'll see the paved trail on your right.
Bountiful recreation center, is straight east of the home on 400 north about 1 mile on the left. It includes swimming, fitness, weight training, racquetball, basketball, pickleball and ice skating is one of the best facilities in the greater Salt Lake City area.
Plenty of shopping and restaurants are within 1 to 2 miles, including Costco, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, PetCo, Texas Road House, Applebees, Lone Star and many fast food restaurants.
Nine ski resorts are within 40 to 50 miles of our home.
Nearest ATV or snowmobile trails are straight east on 400 North to Bountiful hills, about 3 miles, where you have a beautiful gravel road and numerous other trails providing vista views up top of the Wasatch mountains, looking down into the Salt Lake Valley with pine trees and cool weather on the mountain.
Boating is about 25 miles to Willard Bay, north on I15, or PineView resevoir east of Ogden. The great Salt Lake is about the same distance to the west and south of our home.
Downtown Salt Lake City is only about 10 to 15 minutes south on I15 from our home, with the famous Temple Square, Jazz basketball and world class symphony, theater and restaurants.
