The house, built in a former barn, is located 22 km from Florence, near the Castle of Nipozzano.
In the Tuscan countryside, with olive groves, vineyards and woods.
In the garden of 3000 sqm fully fenced there is a pool of 12x6 meters with Jacuzzi and system for swimming against the current. The swimming pool (depth from 1. 1 to 1. 4 meters) is rented along with the house in exclusive use (is not used by other guests, or by the owners).
From the large terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view. The same from the edge of the pool, complete with a large terrace, covered dining area and barbecue.
In the garden there are olive trees, fruit trees, an oak grove and a wonderful old oak tree.

We had a fabulous time. The villa was warm and welcoming and had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable. The view was spectacular. The pool was refreshing and an added bonus! Anna,our host was extremely helpful. She answered any questions we had and even suggested places/events that we might enjoy. We would highly recommended this property to other travellers.

Amazing property great view.

This was perfect for us. Private, close to anything you need. Amongst the vineyards. You can see Nipozzano castle winery from the deck and the pool. The pool was always clean and a perfect bit of peace.

Beautiful countryside retreat

We have a wonderfully relaxing week. The villa is situated in the hills amongst the vineyards. The views are absolutely spectacular, it has been so lovely to sit on the patio and soak it all in.The pool is large and cleaned daily with 5 comfortable sun loungers and a shaded area for table and chairs. We walked across the the local winery Nipozzano where we had a tour and lunch with wine tasting in a private dining room, a very special experience. It’s easy to go to Florence on the train with several trains an hour from Pontassieve. Siena was another trip out which was a delightful city and not overly busy, worth the drive of approx 1 hr 30 mins

A magical holiday

We had the most amazing stay at Anna’s villa. It’s most incredible pool and the views are unbelievable, photos don’t do it justice. Anna was really responsive, replying immediately to our few questions pre arrival. The villa has a really well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms but it’s the views that really make it! The kids also loved the peacocks wandering the garden and appearing at the window! Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we hope to be back!

Wonderful stay in Tuscany.

We had a wonderful 2 week stay in this villa. Everything was as described. We were a family of 4, our children are 23 and 17, and the space worked well for us. The pool was delightful and a welcome respite from the heat. The views were spectacular! Anna, the host, was fantastic - so friendly and helpful. There’s so much to see and do in the area as well - lots of culture and history. We really enjoyed the tour of the local wine estate - Castello Nipozzano, as well as visiting Florence (a half hour train ride from Pontassieve) and going further afield to San Gimignano. Thank you Anna, we hope to come back some day.

The property was ideal, it was clean, beautiful views, private pool ( cleaned every day). We really enjoyed this villa, we couldn’t have wanted more. Anna was brilliant, anything we wanted (which was minimal) was granted immediately. The property was clean and well maintained, with a beautiful terrace overlooking uninterrupted countryside. If you want a peaceful, restful, stress free holiday, I would recommend this property to you. I would return tomorrow, in fact we didn’t want to leave. Under the Tuscan Sun

After some time being tourists in Europe, a week in Anna's villa in Tuscany was just the tonic which was required. Arnaldo was available nearby for anything which needed assistance. The pool and the Tuscan sun were an inevitable combination. If more tourist activity is thought necessary, drive into Pontassieve, park in the supermarket car park, catch the train into Florence ( about 25 minutes). If you want a wine tasting, Castle Nipazzano is about a 10 minute drive down the side road. Don't book too often. We want to go back.

An amazingly great stay in Tuscany

When I arrived at this property, my expectations were immediately exceeded. The pictures do not do it justice. If you are looking for an idyllic Tuscan property, set in the typical Tuscan landscape of rolling hills, distant mountains, vineyards, cows mooing in the distance, total privacy, with a commuter train to Florence just 7 km away, then this is your place. It was a wonderful place to home to after a busy day in Florence. The pool added to the enjoyment fact. It has a hydromassage unit and the ability for counter current lap swimming. The owner is kind and caring, and responds quickly to any issues. The pool is cleaned on a daily basis and is large enough to do lap swimming. Add to the local hiking trails all nearby, and have one sweet spot to call come.

We loved our week in the Tuscan hills. The villa is much more spacious and impressive than the pictures suggest, there is plenty of living space inside, with a terrace outside as well as the seating areas by the pool. The house is well equipped, and the lovely owners left a welcome pack with food and drink for the first night and morning. My teenage son was happy with the WiFi, my daughter and I enjoyed the pool, tranquility and local wildlife. Florence is easy to get to by train. We did not venture out as often as it was too hot. The villa itself is at the edge of a forest on a hill, so temperatures felt cooler. There are only a few other houses around but none are overlooking the villa. The villa is at the end of a gravel road and easy to find thanks to Anna’s directions. I will definitely recommend this villa to friends and hope to come back one day to explore the rest of Tuscany.

Wow! Beyond expectations - an amazing property!

As soon as we saw the view from the balcony we knew this was the perfect place for our family holiday. The pictures do not quite show how beautiful it truly is but gives a nice, welcome surprise after the drive down the unsealed lane. Anna gave us all the information we needed before we arrived and we were also welcomed by the pet peacocks! The accommodation has everything for a family of four (or slightly more) with plenty of pots and pans and crockery in the kitchen for anything you may want to cook if eating in - including a dishwasher with a few tablets. The pool (cleaned every morning except Sunday) was a great size and has a jacuzzi or current function but the size of it meant swimming lengths was fine and the kids enjoyed having the place to themselves - no problems getting a sun lounger!! The location is great - just a 10 min drive to Pontassieve which has some lovely restaurants, a supermarket and a station which is the best way to get into Florence for a days sightseeing (only €13.60 return for a family of 4). We hope we can return one day as we felt so at home and relaxed. Thank you Anna!

Es ist schade, dass ein einziger Gast den Ruf eines Hauses mit Kommentaren ruiniert, die wirklich keinerlei Sinn ergeben. Wir vermieten seit Jahren und haben immer 5 Sterne für alles erhalten. Die Fotos in der Anzeige sind echt. Wenn ein Gast keinen Plastiktisch möchte, ist er völlig frei, ein anderes Haus zu wählen. Die Bäder stammen aus der Zeit des Hauses, und auch davon gibt es Fotos. Es ist unfair, dem Eigentümer Schaden zuzufügen, indem man etwas anderes erwartet, als das, was gezeigt und beschrieben wurde – und was vielen anderen Gästen gefallen hat, wie Sie auch aus den Bewertungen hätten sehen können, bevor Sie mein Haus gewählt haben. Für einen höheren Preis hätten Sie überall anders hingehen können! Die Matratzen sind neu und von hoher Qualität. Sie sind mit Sicherheit nicht vom Markt, und im Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett gibt es zusätzlich zum Matratze auch einen Topper. Niemand vor Ihnen hat sich jemals darüber beschwert. Es ist auch schade, dass Sie die Seele des Hauses nicht verstanden haben. Marmorbäder, wie sie heute modern sind, würden sich schlecht in den Stil des Hauses einfügen, den Sie offensichtlich nicht erfasst haben.

Een mooi huis op een werkelijk prachtige locatie. Het zwembad is daarnaast echt heerlijk en wordt bovendien uitstekend bijgehouden. De communicatie met Anna verliep super goed en snel en bovendien is dit qua locatie een plek van waaruit je veel mooie bezichtigen kan doen. Wij hebben hier prachtige herinneringen gemaakt en keren zeker nog een keer terug!

Ein typisches toskanisches Landhaus, gelegen inmitten von Weinbergen, auf einem riesigen Grundstück mit Olivenbäumen ist genau das, was wir gesucht und gefunden haben. Der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten, gleichzeitig ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagestouren und als besonderes Highlight der top gepflegte und riesige Pool (mit einer richtig guten Gegenstromanlage!). Das war schön!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Mai. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen und trotzdem gut erreichbar. Es bietet einen fantastische Aussicht auf die Hügel und das Castello Nipozzano. Auf den Fotos nicht gut zu sehen ist die schöne Terrasse am Haus. Der Pool ist sehr gepflegt und hat vor allem unserer Tochter sehr gefallen - genau so wie die Pfauen auf dem Gelände. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Herrliches Urlaubsquartier

Traumhaus in der Toskana

Ein wirkliches Traumhaus. Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal dort. Das Haus ist groß, sehr gut ausgestattet und traumhaft gelegen. Auch der Pool ist außerordentlich schön. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
