About this property

LAKEFRONT, Gameroom, remodeled, large deck on Nolin lake with dock!

We are located only 8 miles from the north entrance of Mammoth Cave National Park and on Nolin Lake. We are open for rental year around. This 1200 sq. ft. home has 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sectional, color 65inch flat screen smart TV, WIFI (You Tube TV) and central heat & air. There is a 20 x 26 patio porch with gas grill and picnic table overlooking Nolin Lake. All that you need to bring is food & lake towels!!

On Nolin Lake you are able to enjoy swimming, skiing and fishing. Other activities nearby include cave tours, museums, golf, hiking, horseback riding, shopping and live theatre.

We are located only 8 miles from the north entrance of Mammoth Cave National Park and only 30 / 45 minutes away from other show-caves and area attractions

Policies: No Smoking and max number of overnight guest is 8.

Please be advised Nolin Lake is owned by the US Corp of Engineers and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corp lowers the lake (25 / 30 feet) starting late October. Due to the flood control aspect of the lake, the walk up and down to the water can be steep and some guest might find it difficult.

Boat parking at the a community dock is now available as the Corp of Engineers recently changed their rules. Remember to park carefully and respect neighbors boats and property while using.

Swimming is available off the shoreline (note rocky and deep), or at the boat ramp, or one of the nearby public beaches (Nolin Lake State Park).

Nice place to get away for a couple days. We brought kayaks and because of the hill it was a hike to get down and back to/from the lake. All in all it was a nice place

This home is excellent for those that have mobility issues. You can easily access the home without climbing stairs by coming through the game room. And having two walk-in showers was wonderful. The back deck was super. We spent the most time watching birds and boaters go by. It is a nice walk down to the boat slip at the end of the road to watch the sunset. Great dog friendly home too with vinyl floors and deck railings. They even provided leashes and dog bowls. I would definitely recommend this home.

House was ok, loved the covered patio. The bed was just a mattress on wood slats (no box springs) & the sheets didn’t fit the mattress properly so I didn’t sleep well. The bathrooms need more towels. Overall, the stay was ok for just one night.

Our family of 4 enjoyed the spaciousness of this remodeled home. The kids each had their own bedrooms with an adjoining bathroom. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck playing cards after a long day visiting Mammoth Cave. The lake view was beautiful. The only downside was the lake access was covered with trees. We would recommend grabbing a pizza at Lakeside Cafe down the street. The pizzas were great and the owners were very neighborly! We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Very clean and the host was prompt with communication. We had plenty of room to park our vehicles but there’s little room for a boat. We managed to park it at an angle at the top and all was well. We will definitely stay again.

This lakefront property was beautiful, clean kept and serene. It was perfectly situated for our itinerary. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed. The back deck was an oasis in the mornings and the game room was a nice sized spot for our group to get together and play an assortment of provided board and card games. We enjoyed cooking on the grill in the evenings and enjoying our dinner on the extra lit back deck.

We had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather while staying at the Wilderness Drive VRBO home. The home was VERY clean and had everything we needed. I think the owners did a wonderful job with equipping the house all the way down to stay-at-home entertainment with an abundant selection of games in the game room. The view was awesome from the outside deck which made for a great time just chilling out with our great friends!! I would definitely recommend trying this place out!! Also, while it seemed like it was in a very secluded area, we were just minutes from some great eating places!!

This place was awesome. The view of the Fall leaves was incredible. They have an excellent covered patio with a grill and a fire pit. The beds are very comfortable and the living room made a great place to relax and watch the huge t.v. They have a foozball table right off the living room that was a lot of fun too. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to get away for a few days and needing some peace and quiet.

We bought this house to use personally and when our girls started in all their activities we decided to rent it out for others to enjoy. My husband grew up across the street and we love to visit the area.
