As a family of 12, we rented Malcolm's beautiful house for my mum's 80th birthday; it was absolutely perfect. This house has everything you could need: lots of space for everyone, it is set in beautiful grounds, in a great position off the road, and an easy 25-minute walk into Grantown on Spey. We loved staying in this house and are looking forward to returning, hopefully very soon.
This is a lovely house with plenty of space for all thirteen of our family members, and perfect for playing murder mystery! The kitchen is plenty big enough too, and two fridge freezers were very useful. The bedrooms were all very clean and comfortable as were the bathrooms. Malcolm the host was very helpful and responded to queries very quickly.I would certainly recommend.
Large and interesting house with fabulous facilities, very clean, considerate hosts, great location. Recommend walking along the river to Grantown on Spey and to the Bothy Bakery.
Great house for our family. Comfortably fit 12. Sharing 3 bathrooms. great gathering areas, kitchen table, family room and great dining room for dinners. Two frigdes, plenty of dishware and cutlery. Great grounds. Many visits to KJ bakery around the corner. Enjoyed our stay.
Easily accessible activities for all ages (4-76)The house was even MUCH better than listed so some photos should be updated. Size of all rooms amazingly large. Dining room for Golden Wedding celebration was amazing and with beautiful China and cutlery. Lots of outdoor games in porch to play in the large grounds. Highly recommend on all points
3rd Easter in a row at Malcolm's property, and it was fantastic again. Cannot fault it at all. 11 of us stayed for 5 nights and found it immaculately clean and spacious. We know the area well and find Grantown-on-Spey a great base to access everything on offer nearby.Close to the speyside way which was used by the dog walkers of the group and the keen runner who found it a gentle trail to Nethy Bridge and back. We're hoping to make it 4 years in a row next year :)
What a great place for our family gathering. Great house and location. The house is well equipped and the games room perfect for the older kids. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.
A great house for a big family gathering. Very comfortable and spacious, with all facilities we needed. Games room is a bonus.Host, Malcolm, was very helpful when we couldn't get oven to work initially ... quickly sorted by a phone call.Garden spacious, and great for our dogs. All in all, a great place to stay.
A great house for large family celebration. Has everything you needed and great entertainment with table tennis and pool and large garden. roomy dining room and cosy house. Located outside Grantown-On-Spey but a good hub to visit the cairngorms national park.
Had a great stay here again for another Easter week in the house after last year. Kids love the large garden and there is a lot to do in the locality. Highly recommended.
Great venue and ideal for the purposes of the trip. Checking in & out was extremely straightforward and good communication from Malcolm in the lead up.
