Safety concern
Regrettably, we had to leave swiftly after the internal security door to our apartment failed and we had an intruder enter our apartment whilst we were in it!! This was very distressing and concerning being a family with a small child. Subsequently , we reported it to the Police (and owner) as internal security failings compromised our stay and we had to leave earlier than planned through fear of who else may have been able to gain access to us and our child. Would never stay here again and has left us feeling very cautious about coded door entry systems and their reliability . In addition , this particular apartment is at the rear of the building and is more isolated than those at the front. Also, it is no coincidence that an intruder entered on a night when most people would have been out on the Hoe at that time watching the firework display !!!! We are professionals who are not naive idiots and have video evidence of the security failings at this property . I’m sure the owner will review the security at this accommodation, but for us we would not stay there again in a heartbeat !
