Amazing stay at Forio Family Home

Our families had a wonderful stay in Forio. Ahead of our stay Caterina gave useful tips on getting to and from the island and allowed us to drop our bags off before checking in so we could head to the beach without our luggage. Francesca helped us settle in and supported us throughout our stay. She gave helpful information about exploring the island that made the trip! The house was as described, very well maintained and comfortable for our families. Both Caterina and Francesca were excellent communicators. We highly recommend staying in this home.

Fantastic holiday in Forio

What a fantastic time we had in Forio. From the ferry, we had the pleasure of a five minute stroll through what seemed a deserted village in the early afternoon en route to the house where Francesca awaited us and kindly helped us move rooms (too many to choose between)! By next evening Forio had transformed from sleepy village to a bustling main square for the Santa del Vito (saints day) celebration, combined with Italy playing its first game in the Euros. Hilarious, magical and fireworks on a magnificent scale to match our native Edinburgh at Hogmanay!! The island of Ischia is SO easy to get around with a cheap 7-day bus ticket and really regular services: Citara beach (gorgeous) with thermal sands is a 20 minute walk and 5 minute bus back; Sant Antoni and a water taxi to Maronti beach is lovely. Our favourite was the stunning GIardini la Mortella, followed by a quick dip in the nearby bay before home. We opted for Forio as we thought there would be more for our 20 yr old and it was such a good choice: a small village centre but plenty of local nightlife, really good eateries which we loved and so easy to get around. The house is a haven of calm and lovely seating areas inside and out. Both Caterina and Francesca were super quick to respond (when I accidentally turned the hot water off) with instructions on how to put the water back on! A lovely oasis of calm. Thank you!

Belle maison de village avec superbe terrasse et jasmin odorant

Très agréable maison en cœur de village proche des commerces, du port et de la plage. La grande terrasse abritée du soleil est très agréable. Silvana est venue nous chercher au port et la communication était facile. Seul petit bémol: un seul oreiller par personne et 1 seul torchon et pas assez de vaisselle ( pas de verres à vin !). Dommage car la cuisine est grande et agréable pour y cuisiner. Excellent séjour dans l’ensemble

Awesome experience!

The apartment has a great location and was perfect for our family! Caterina and Rosaria were wonderful in helping to us get settled in for our stay. We will definitely be back and this is the place we will stay!

Fabulous Forio!!

The house is very spacious with a lovely large outside area and is situated in a residential area very close to the centre of Forio, which is just a short walk away. Lovely to be surrounded by local people.

Maison idéale.

Maison idéale pour passer ses vacances. Proches des commerces et du port. Tout est à portée de main. Terrasse très bien exposée et très fleurie. Décoration intérieure très jolie et maison bien équipée. Nous avons passé un très très bon séjours. Propriétaire très attentionnée à votre bien etre.
