"The Odyssea" - Carillon Beach - Beautiful Home Two Lots From Beach!

Newer home built in 2016, in Carillon Beach resort, steps from beautiful and serene white sand beach! Carillon Beach offers private beach access, 3 swimming pools, tennis and pickle ball courts, and much more! Carillon's Market Street provides retail, eateries, and galleries in a relaxed, open-air atmosphere. Kayaking and paddle boating are available at the resort's picturesque lake, as well as a Health and Fitness Center to enjoy!

This newer home boasts three bedrooms and sleeps ten guests. The master suite has a king sized bed, private screened porch with ceiling fan, and a beautiful bathroom complete with soaking tub, separate shower, and vanity with two sinks. A second bedroom has a queen sized bed and private bath with tub. The third bedroom has a full and two twin beds, and connects to the hall bath with walk in shower. All bedrooms have televisions with cable and the home has wi-fi throughout. Enjoy your meals at the dining room table and/or granite kitchen bar with barstools. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and is fully stocked to prepare and serve your vacation meals. The side entry porch off the kitchen is conveniently located next to the outdoor shower area. The living room area has a queen sized sleeper sofa, along with additional seating, entertainment center, television, and plenty of books and games for your enjoyment. The front entry is complete with a relaxing front porch with ceiling fans and comfortable furniture, perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails!

property was excellent. the issue is with carillon property, you have to get a parking pass to be on the property that u pay for extra and set up extra to get. besides this there beaches are great getting to a beach overpass is also great at every street. could use more food services there but plenty around the area if eating out. been going for several yrs now and trying different property's all have been great

Hi Patrick, I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay at our property! The paid parking pass is not our (owners) policy, it is Carillon's policy. The new system does allow for a much smoother experience getting through the gates upon arrival. I completely understand about the extra cost, unfortunately it is the norm for most 30A neighborhoods. Carillon was one of the last to implement parking fees. I agree with you that the beaches at Carillon are beautiful and the multiple access points are so convenient! We enjoy the Salty Bottle & Brew, Disco's Pizza, and Our Little Beach Cafe, all on Main Street, for meals, coffee, ice cream, and wine sampling when we are in town. Carillon is such a special place!

We loved our stay at The Odyssea! The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It is less than a block to the steps of the ocean. The owners are extremely responsive too. We have stayed at the Odyssea three times and we will return.

The home was spacious and in a great location, which was appreciated. However, there were several issues that significantly impacted our stay.The furniture could use updating. The sofa was stained and uncomfortable and the floors did not appear very clean when we arrived. There was also a fair amount of sand on one of the bathroom floors. Our biggest concern was a significant ant infestation in the kitchen particularly in and around the stove. We had noticed a few ants and spiders but it was during the last few days of our stay, the problem became severe enough that I had contacted the host. We were unable to prepare meals in the home due to food safety concerns. Pics and videos sent to host. The host scheduled Terminex for mid afternoon Friday. As a result, we had to throw away a substantial amount of food we had purchased with the intention of cooking. There was no grill available, so we didn't have an alternative way to prepare our meals. We have stayed in several homes in Carillon over the years - never experienced anything like this. We simply requested reimbursement for a portion of the food we were forced to discard because of the infestation, but the host declined our request. While the home's size and location were positives, the cleanliness issues and lack of consideration from the host due to a problem in her home, made this a disappointing experience. Lesson learned - contact VRBO during stay for support not after.

Cutest beach house!

We had an amazing time! Everything was perfect. The location, the size of the home, we loved the sounds of the wild life at night off of our back porch patio, walking to morning coffee. Such a fun time and we will be back!
