Updated and newly furnished!!
Beachology is a Kelly Sturges design beach cottage with huge porches to sip your sweet tea and watch your kids play basketball, tennis or run on the green at the Bellview park. The heated pool is right next to the park and the breathtaking sugar sand beach of the famous Emerald Coast is just steps away. There is a large wrap porch in front, a covered balcony porch upstairs, a large screened in porch in back boasting a large flat screen tv and a covered patio featuring a gas grill. There is also an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after a glorious day at the beach. There are 2 master bedrooms, one upstairs with a king bed, the other downstairs with a queen, both with ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom with 2 twin beds and access to full bathroom, and a separate 4-twin bunkroom. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a daybed in the reading room upstairs so beachology can sleep 13. The living room, master bedrooms, twin room and screened porch all have flat screen TVs and are beautifully decorated to be comfortable but luxurious. The kitchen is fully loaded with stainless steel appliances. There is a large dining room and a breakfast bar for the kids. Wi-Fi, cable, full size washer and dryer in laundry room and gas fireplace.

This is a great beach cottage big enough for 2 families.
Carillon is a private, gated and security guarded community west of Panama City Beach and just east of 30A. Publix and CVS are right across from Carillon. Pier Park, movies, mall, Gulf World just east of Carillon, 30A shopping and sight seeing is just west. There are no roads to cross to get to the beach at Carillon and the beach itself is wide and uncrowded. There is a quaint coastal church that holds Sunday services and the most beautiful weddings. During high season there are outdoor movies, music and fun on the green. The bells of the Carillon play throughout the day from the center of the village adding a beautiful melody to your vacation.

The layout of this home is perfect for family dinners and evenings gathered on the porch. Amazing decor and modern bathrooms. Kitchen range faces living room which we love so everyone feels together. There was only a Keurig and we all drink coffee so we bought a coffee pot and donated it (maybe there was one at one time as there were filters) and no can opener so purchased that too. Back porch is amazing also with outdoor shower and grill. We had a perfect week at the beach! and the home is right across from the pool and close to tennis and pickle ball courts. We also loved the reserved Beachology chairs on the beach. Highly recommend this home!

Loved this house! Our party included 2 families so we appreciated having 2 master suites. Kids enjoyed the twin beds and bunk room. Loved lounging on the front porch, which has views of park and pool, and screened back porch which was great for quiet time and family dinners.

Carillon -Summer

The house was perfect for two families. We enjoyed our time on both the front and back porches. Recent updates made the house top-notch. We hope to visit again. The property manager and homeowners were quick to respond. Carillon has done a great job in keeping all of the common areas well kept.

Great location for a family with multiple kids. Right across from the basketball and tennis center was a plus and beach an easy walk. Downtown Carillon only a 3 minute walk using the tree lined cut through. One of our favorite homes, just right for a family of 6. Porch floors on all levels were a bit dirty is the only reason it wasn't a 5 star and owner was notified and they ware not happy about that either. That being said, we loved the porch space, especially off the master. Would definitely stay in Beachology again

Fun at Beachology

Carillon Beach is one of our favorite places to visit! We have stayed in several houses in this beautiful community. Beacholgy is the perfect location for anyone traveling with littles, kids, or teens. It is directly across the street from the pool, playground, and basketball court. A very short stroll takes you right to the tennis and pickle ball courts. The teens just wished they had lights at the pickle ball court. You can take the Promenade and it’s a straight shot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream or coffee. The beach is maybe a 3-5 minute walk and just a minute or so by bicycle. The kids enjoyed riding the bikes to the beach because you can park bikes, but only unload a golf cart. Beachology was perfect for our crew, made up mostly of teenagers. The beds were super soft and comfortable! We enjoyed relaxing on the beautiful porches at night! The homeowner responded promptly to all questions and concerns. We would definitely consider staying at this property again!

Other than an amazing stay, a few things as feedback: - The change to only 1 provider of golf carts to the neighborhood is not good for visitors in my opinion. (not necessarily under the home owner control) - The ice maker in this unit struggled to keep up - dedicated ice maker as an upgrade. Several of us have stayed in multiple houses in the neighborhood, and this is one of the most appreciated amenities. - Need a dustpan! - Clothes washer intermittently would not unlock after cycle - We missed the Karaoke for the children on Friday night. The new establishment evidently wasn't doing it anymore. This has always been a highlight of the week and a great exclamation point at the end of vacation. Overall, the house itself, it's proximity to the pool, park, and tennis courts, and the friends we brought made this one of, if not our best vacation ever! Thank you!

Perfect Place in Carillon

Beachology was just perfect for our family vacation! Everything had been recently updated/renovated and beautifully maintained. With two master suites, it was the perfect space for us to vacation with our two adult children and their friends. There are three full baths connected to three bedrooms. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Have you ever stayed in a home where you couldn’t find a pair of scissors or a slip of paper for a grocery list? This place is not that! All the essential nonstick pans, pots, muffin tin, can opener, etc. plus there were plenty of coffee mugs, towels and wine glasses for everyone! Mattresses and all the furniture (even on the porches) were very comfortable. Lying on the couch on screened porch reading books on a rainy morning hearing the bells of Carillon made even a rainy day at the beach perfect. Minor problem when we first arrived with a breaker switch was immediately resolved when we called the number of property manager that was provided. The beach and “downtown” Carillon were no more than a five min walk away. Pool, green space and tennis courts directly across the street. The walkover we used to get to the beach had clean bathrooms which was super convenient. We loved every minute of our Carillon stay and will most definitely be back at Beachology soon!

Great house, but needs some love.

The good part....Great house, decor, layout, etc. Excellent front porch for hanging out. Perfect location for us, across from the pool, the basketball court, the green. Honestly, we had the best vaca ever. Kids played pick up basketball at night, met some great people. The not so good part...which did not prevent us having a great week...but want to make others aware....especially if you are accustomed to an excellent rental. We have been renting for years at Carillon, and this was the least favorable house to date. Only because it needs some maintenance. The outside of the home needs pressure washing bad. The front porch, where we were a good bit, was very dirty, window frames and doors...just need to be cleaned. The furniture on porch was nice furniture but dirty and stained and a couple of the seat cushions so worn that you feel the metal frame beneath you. The back porch was not even usable. And honestly it was one of the reasons we booked this particular home. It would have been a great spot for all the kids to hang out and watch TV. However the TV did not work, the screen on the door was ripped off and hanging...and the porch was very dirty and the kids did not want to even use it. I did call Helen, the property Manager and reported it and was toldthey would get it repaired but no one ever came. The ice maker was frosting over to the point it was hard to open and close freezer. It did not stopthe ice maker from making ice so we were ok, however I reported it. The inside of the home was very clean except the white slipcovered sofa and chair in great room definately needs washing or replacing. Dirty and stained looking. Overall none of this prevented us from a great week but we were disappointed in the upkeep of the house. The yard space had old flower pots with dead plants strew about,etc. Just not well kept outside. I did let the owners know after I returned and they were appreciative of the info I provided so I trust that they will take care of these issues and I would consider renting this home again if so. It was a good stroll to the beach however, especially carrying a load. But we loved the location to the pool and BB courts.

Baseball & Beach

We enjoyed our stay and the house is as described in the listing. The property manager helped us with a few minor issues on the outside porches where some cleaning was needed but it was addressed very quickly! Checkin was a nightmare at the gates to the community. This is no fault of the owner or property manager but just plan to wait an hour or more to get through the gates on a Saturday during the busy season. It was very unorganized and made for additional unexpected wait time for our kids after an already long drive so that wasn’t ideal. Make sure you bring a PRINTEd copy of the authorization form! The security people at checkin do not accept digital copies on your phone even though is 2022. :) Other than that- our stay was lovely for a week of watching our son play in a baseball tournament nearby and some beach time. You will love the privacy and quiet that Carillon offers even during the busiest time of the summer. We all loved listening to the bells!! So unique- nowhere else on the beach can you get that. The house is lovely and well-stocked. Proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. We would stay again but probably would avoid a Saturday checkin date during busy months or plan for an extra hour of wait time.

Wonderful week at Beachology!

Loved loved loved Beachology! We have been going to Carillon for about 5 years, and while this house is a little farther from the beach than we normally stay, it’s one of my favorite properties. We rented a golf cart, so that did not affect us at all. It’s also an easy walk to and from the beach if needed. The house is very homey. There were plenty of bath towels in every bathroom which is a big plus for us. There was hand soap in every bathroom as well as the kitchen which is very considerate gesture. I loved that I was able to leave my leftover detergent and things of that nature as some were left for us. It’s a shame that these things often have to be tossed, and I really appreciated it. The front porch was amazing as well as the back porch!! People so often don’t realize it’s the little things that make a big difference. As a Mom, I noticed every one! The owners were amazing and easy to work with. It was a beautiful home, and I would most definitely stay there again!! It’s almost directly across the street from one of the pools. It is directly across from the basketball courts and playground. Can’t say enough good things about it!! Wonderful stay!!

Perfect for our family

Beachology was the perfect location and floor plan for grandparents taking one of the grand families to the beach. Our daughter, husband and three kids had the run of the downstairs while the grandparents had a lovely master suite upstairs. Proximity to the pool and park across the street were also great for the family. Highly recommend this house.

We had a great time at Beachology!

This was our first time staying in Carillon Beach and we loved it! The area is charming and beautiful. The beach was less crowded than other places we have stayed along this coast and that made it more enjoyable. Beachology was perfect for our group. We loved the decor and the location worked well for us. Being right across the street from the family pool was nice because the children with us liked going to the pool as well as the beach..we would definitely stay at Beacology again!

Just what we were hoping for!

This was our first visit to Carillon Beach and we could not have been more impressed with the community and Beachology in particular. The location right across from the pool was ideal. The decorations were very beach appropriate and the layout of the home was just perfect for our family. The owner was wonderful to work with and we will definitely look to stay here again.

Warm, spacious, memorable and charming all in one property!

We absolutely fell in love Beachology. As parents, this was the first time we have ever experienced a vacation where our kids could ride bikes and swim all day while meeting new friends without us being concerned for their safety. The location and security of the development is ideal. The house is tremendously decorated with all you need to have an enjoyable vacation. The front porch was by far my favorite part of the house. Spending 10 minutes on the front porch reduced my stress by nearly 100 %! The owners were helpful and seem like the kind of people you would want as a neighbor.
