Beautiful countryside property

The barns are ideally situated in the golden triangle between the historic 'Medieval City' of Gourdon, medieval Sarlat and the pilgrim site of Rocamadour. We sleep from 2 to 18 in 2 converted barns with 4 bedrooms in each. Pets are welcome.
Each barn has 4 bedrooms / a family bathroom / a large kitchen diner / Utility room with shower / WC and Lounge / outside decking area with seating for up to 10 people with bbq. There is a fully fenced & gated garden at the rear.
We are close to the river where you can enjoy the river or the sea. we have historic Gabbare at Beynac.
If pre-history is your thing Indeed one of these is just 5 minutes up the road.
You can visit the local market where all of these are available for sale- ideal for foodies with the local specialties available.
Carp, Catfish and many other varieties.
The children will love it so much. There is a steam tourist train at Martel and flying demonstrations with the Eagles near Rocamadour and nearby you can also feed the apes. At Gramat the zoo is one of the largest in France with over 1000animals including endangered species. Another great attraction is Insectorama where you can see many strange and different creepy crawlies - the kids will love it. There are also adventure playgrounds and the Aquaparc at Quercyland.
As you would expect many beautiful chateaux are open to visit with many different types of gardens.
If you are adventurous then go to the local airparc, or go to a hot air balloon or hang gliding in tandem.
We have lots of walking and cycling routes and we can get you here - just let us know and we will arrange it for you.
Domme is a short drive away and is one of the best bastide villages in France. The views from here are fantastic and the kids will love the tourist train ride around the streets. There are many individual shops and artisans selling local made products and a great choice of restaurants for that lazy lunch or dinner.
From May to October is festival & festival, local fairs, empty attics (car boot sales) or Petanque competions.
