Our charming sea cottage with a stunning view over the Stockholm Archipelago, including cruise ships has a good equipped kitchen. Livingroom that also sleeps 2 persons, one bedroom that sleeps 2 persons, and one extra cottage available from May-September that sleeps 3 persons.
There is one bathroom. Washing machine is in the house. There is a terrace with possibility to enjoy nice barbering evenings. On walking distance you will reach a small beach and beautiful walking paths near the sea. This place is ideal for couples or a family to enjoy life close to the sea and explore the surroundings, relax and have great evenings.
Kayaks can be rented for a discounted price (5min walking distance)

Marcus our host was very helpful and when we had a power cut was very responsive to the situation and sent out an engineer. The Log cabin was in a perfect spot overlooking the sea along with the Hot tub which was fantastic especially as it snowed heavily.The hot tub was situated down a little slope from the log cabin but it was not a problem getting to it.There was so many different paths to walk you were spoilt for choice if you like walking like we do.The only thing I would advise is that the cabin does have steep steps to the toilet and shower, however this was not a problem for us, but could be if you have very young children.The highlight, the view from our cabin was magnificent especially waking up to a few feet of snow and seeing various cruise ships from your window.If visiting in winter ensure you buy lots of wood for the log burner as this was sooo cozy.There are shops such a Lidl 15 - 20 minutes drive from log cabin for you wood and food supplies and if you are looking for alcohol stronger than 3.5 % there is a shopping mall with an alcoholic store that sells stronger wines etc.Overall absolute fabulous holiday, would highly recommend.

No attention, no concern

Both the house and the owner showed a great lack of care and attention. The cottage is old and worn out. There is a very steep staircase to get to the toilet and shower room. Downstairs it is very humid. We left early and will be filing a complaint with VRBO and owner.

Markus hat uns sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bedient. Vielen Dank dafĂŒr. Die Lage ist traumhaft.Wir haben uns wohl gefĂŒhlt. Dieses Sea Cottages "Charming" ist nun doch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das beeinflusst wohl auch die Reinigung. Da sind Erneuerungsmassnahmen notwendig. Die Umgebung sieht nicht sehr gepflegt aus.

Traumhafte Lage ĂŒber dem SchĂ€rengarten

Das Ferienhaus in typisch schwedischem Stil liegt wirklich traumhaft: Vor einem liegt der Ostsee-SchĂ€rengarten in all seiner Schönheit! Zum Genießen! In der Umgebung gibt es eine Menge zu machen: SchĂ€ren-Schiffstour zu welchen Inseln man auch immer will. Von uns zu empfehlen: Schiffstour von Furusund nach Rödlöga - die Insel ganz weit draußen, auf der man in eine vergangene Zeit eintaucht. (keine Autos, nicht einmal Straßen, idyllische HĂ€uschen, wundervolle Badebuchten).Wer nicht bis Rödlöga will (aber Fehler!), kann auch zwischendurch auf anderen Inseln aussteigen, u.a. auf Norröra, der Insel, auf der "Ferien auf Saltkrokan" gedreht wurde. Schnell ist man auch in Stockholm mit seinen unendlichen Möglichkeiten (fĂŒr uns ein Muss: das Vasa-Museum). Auch Sigtuna am MĂ€laren, die Ă€lteste Stadt Schwedens, ist nich weit und sehr nett. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch eine kurze Tour auf die Insel Ljusterö (geht mit dem Auto per kostenloser FĂ€hre).NatĂŒrlich gibt es in der Umgebung des FerienhĂ€uschens auch nette Badeseen (wenn auch nicht so dicht gesĂ€t wie in Smaland). Gastgeber Markus gibt sehr gern und sicher Ă€ußert kompetent Tipps! Der angepriesene Strand in HausnĂ€he liegt etwa 500 m entfernt. Es ist eher eine kleine Sandbucht, die zumindest als wir dort waren durch Algenbewuchs recht schlammig und nicht sehr einladend war. Das Haus selbst ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, man sollte mal was dran machen. Das Bad ist ziemlich mĂ€ĂŸig und Geschirr inzwischen ziemlich knapp bemessen.

Sehr tolle Lage

Sehr nettes deutschsprachiges Vermieterehepaar. Sie gaben viele gute Tipps fĂŒr tolle Unternehmungen. Auf der bezaubernden Terrasse mit Blick auf die Ostsee kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Zur Badestelle sind es zu Fuß 5 Minuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schwedenurlaub

FĂŒr unser Hobby "Geocaching" und "Angeln" war dieser Standort in herrlich ruhiger Lage optimal. Die Fahrtzeit nach Stockholm hielt sich in Grenzen und zu diversen SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten war es ebenfalls nicht weit. Eine knappe Stunde Fahrzeit bis zur FĂ€hre Richtung Arland und nach Upsala warn ebenfalls gut machbar. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war klasse und problemlos, alles in Allem, wenn man nicht direkt an einem Strand unterkommen will ist dieses gerĂ€umige Haus genau das Richtige.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einem gemĂŒtlichen Ferienhaus, in dem nichts fehlte. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatten tolle Ausflugstipps! Das Haus ist einfach eingerichtet, aber geschmackvoll modernisiert. Es hat vor allem zwei große TrĂŒmpfe: Den alles ĂŒberragenden Ausblick auf die Route der großen FĂ€hrlinien und Kreufahrer. Und die NĂ€he zu Stockhalm. Markus ist ein unkomplizierter Gastgeber, der sehr wertvolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge gibt. Wer sich nachhaltig erholen will, ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben.

Schöne Aussicht ,super Gastgeber

Wir waren vier Tage in dieser Unterkunft. Die Aussicht auf die SchĂ€ren mit den vorbeiziehenden FĂ€hren ist traumhaft. Markus ist ein super Gastgeber, er hat uns prima Ideen fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in der Umgebung gegeben. Das Haus liegt nicht direkt am Strand. Ca 15 min. zu Fuss. Wir wĂŒrden jedenfalls wiederkommen!
