The house was the perfect size with everything we needed. One of the remotes didn’t have batteries in it, but we made it work. I would get a new shower liner, the current one was worn. Besides that everything was clean! Check in and out was easy. Everyone was so friendly. It was the perfect place for a long weekend with the kids.

We ate at Dune Billie’s, and drove to New Buffalo to go to Post Boy (one of our favorites). Our only suggestion would be to provide a few more towels. Thanks for sharing your home w us! Another great family trip to Michigan City/New Buffalo area!

This was our first time at Beachwalk and we were beyond impressed. From the welcoming and helpful staff, to the resort amenities, and the great house the time we spent there was just wonderful. The proximity to Lake Michigan was fantastic and my kids loved just playing on the beach all day. The house itself was cozy, well cared for, had lots of activities (board games, puzzles, beach toys) and perfect for our family of 5. We loved having a golf cart to get places and just drive around looking at all the house names. We took advantage of fishing, peddle boats and shuffle board. We are already planning a trip for next summer!

We were centrally located in walking distance from Central Park and the playground where my kids could easily play. It was a short walk to the pool and beach hut as well! This home also allows for dogs, so we were able to bring our elderly fur baby with us!

It was clean and had so many great amenities! The grill was awesome as well as the full kitchen stocked with everything you need. The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes. The mattresses were not terribly comfortable and the sheets were rough and scratchy. Everything else, however, was perfect. We will be back.

However, we wanted you to know that the bed in the master bedroom does indeed have a queen-sized mattress -- we measured it. However in doing research, we found that queen mattresses are only six inches wider than full mattresses. So its easy to mix up the two.

The golf cart made getting around easy and fun, and we loved the adorable golf cart parking at the beach. The location was perfect — close to the lake beach, which we visited a couple of times, and everything was so easy to access.The house itself was clean, cozy, and had plenty of space for our family. My kids even mentioned how at home they felt! We cooked all of our meals there and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The management team was great and made everything simple from start to finish.We would absolutely love to come back in the summer!

such a fun trip in a great community

Our whole family (5 people + dog) loved the Beachwalk community! The proximity to Lake Michigan beach was great. It was nice to have a golf cart to bring stuff to and from the beach and clubhouse area. Our kids loved the beach hut, games at the clubhouse, the pool and splash pad, the beach area at Lake Kai, the playground, the fishing piers, etc. The Aquamarine Dream house was in a great location! It was great to have 2 full bathrooms and enough beds for all of us. The beach/fishing chairs were very useful. We never got around to sitting around the fire and making smores but it was nice to have that option as well. We would definitely return! The town of Michigan City has a couple good restaurants and ice cream shops, but you really don’t need to leave Beachwalk other than to get groceries.

A few of the pots/pans were dirty when we arrived. The kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. The AC on the 2nd floor did not cool very well. The mattresses on the 2nd floor had plastic/waterproof coverings which were not comfortable. There was only space for 1 vehicle due to the boulders protecting the electrical box and the trash/recycle bins for our unit and the neighboring unit.

The location is perfect-easy walking to the pool or to get ice cream, the backyard is a wooded area (HUGE BONUS). We went to the beach every morning. We didn't feel the need to get a golf cart since we were close to everything. The house was clean. It should be noted that the upstairs bedroom is a loft, not a full closed bedroom. I wish the description was clearer as this was a big deal for us with a kid that wakes at every sound. I also think the kitchen could be stocked with more essentials-various size pots/pans, wine opener. We went hiking at the National Park (go to the visitor center and ask for the best spots!), ate at Fiddlehead, Shoreline Brewery, Bridges. We felt very safe at this property, it was very clean, and all the instructions were clear for check in/out, rules, expectations.

Very clean with good beds. Did not have towels for beach or basic toiletries. Air conditioner did not cool the upstairs very well. The golf cart made getting around the community and to the lake a lot easier.

The property was very dirty and I even had someone come and clean it again which the staff was responsive to. Also the kitchen pots and pans need to be replaced as they are rusty and was nervous cooking in them.

Our new Happy Place!

House has everything, including a game shelf for rainy days. It is located close to the pool and fishing. (I would stick to swimming in the pool and Lake Michigan. Lake Kai water is a bit grody.) Short 5 min. walk to the beach. It was fun checking out all of the colorful homes. Beautiful sunsets. My teens loved it! Decorated super cute as seen in photos. (Please note upstairs bedroom that sleeps 5 has a "cut-out window" looking over the stairs, not shown in photos, so not ideal for toddlers/young kids who are curious and like to climb. Great for older kids and Girls' Weekends!) Comfortable beds. Both bathrooms are nice. Relaxing porch. Parking in front for 1 large SUV or 2 cars. Beachwalk Resort Customer Service was 5 stars! Look forward to our next trip!
