Apartment with stunning views over Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands

Our apartment is located on Lake Maggiore in a family condominium of 5 apartments. The terrace is our favorite place in summer: it is here that we have all our meals, with a relaxing view of the lake and the surrounding mountains (the photos are taken from the terrace).
The living room of the apartment is very bright, the terrace has a splendid view on the lake and is very well located to enjoy the sun from noon to the last rays of the sun.
Each family has access to the whole apartment: the two bedrooms, the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room and of course the terrace. The tenants also have access to the private garage and a parking space.
We have opted for personalized rentals because we are on a family property and we want to ensure peace to our neighbors (Italian, French and English). We do not live on the spot. However, we are always available by phone and tenants will find lots of documents about the area at the apartment.
The apartment is on the hill, on a wide winding road, which ends in a cul-de-sac. So there is very little traffic. The property is surrounded by fences and therefore very secure for children. The car is obviously necessary to move.
We really want a mutual respect: we want the tenants to feel comfortable in the apartment but also that they leave the apartment in the state they found it. Who has not already broken a cup or a plate but the least thing is to prevent from returning home! Pets are not allowed and smokers are not welcome.
The accommodation is situated in Laveno-Mombello, Lombardia, Italy. It takes from 58 to 73 minutes to reach Milan Malpensa Airport. It takes 58 minutes to reach Lugano International Airport.
The apartment is located 5 min by car from all the amenities that a small town such as Laveno offers but the small races are made, we return and we are in a quiet place with a relaxing view and sun and birds for main companions.

Beaches:
CERRO, road of ANGERA to 5 km of LAVENO. Very nice, small sandy beach, lawn, trees, small playground and small bar. Public toilet (open seasonally) at 6.5km, 15 min.
RENO, road of ANGERA 2 km further than CERRO.
Many other beaches can be discovered all around the lake. The wild beaches offer advantages but be careful if you are with children who do not practice swimming in confirmed. There is a wild beach, very good for children, in the direction of LUINO, about 4 km from LAVENO.
Safari Park: very nice with children (45km - 1h): POMBIA (NOVARA)

AT. RIVER COAST LAVENO.
Laveno. Take the funivia, from the top of the hill with magnificent views of the lake. You can walk down the forest. Have shoes closed. About 1h30 walk.
Visit of the 2 churches.
Concerts every Thursday evening (July and August)
Cerro. The museum of ceramics.
Pallanzia. Villa Tarranto: by road to Luino or the lake. Garden and botanical park of great beauty. Old English property. The visit of the villa is not to be missed, even with children, because very nice collection of puppets. Amateur of calm, art, botany, on the way.
Casalzuigno. Villa Bozzolo: direction of Varese. Very beautiful roccoco-style gardens and a part of the city.
Arcumeggia. Village in the mountains, place of painters, frescoes on the houses. A haven of peace because the whole visit is on foot. Pedestrian village.
Angera. Fortress Rocca and its splendid museum of the doll and the toy. Ideal for young and old.
Santa Catherina Del Sasso. Ermitage located after Reno and on your right, 264 steps to reach it, plus those that lead to the pier. Very nice view, restoration of the places practically finished. Place of peace. From here you can go to the islands by boat.
Isola Bella. As the name suggests, beautiful island with castle and park to visit. Sometimes surprising decoration related to the Italian baroque and the imagination of the architects and owners.
Isola Madre. Very beautiful castle and wonderful park. Volatiles in freedom. A haven of peace to discover art and botany with children. In this castle, horns, dolls that make young people discover a life without TV and video ...
Isola Pescatori. Island of fishermen, very rustic, to see on the return of one of the previous islands.
Varese. Sacro Monte. 14 Chapels of different styles and spaced throughout a walk. At the top sanctuary to the Black Madonna.
Luino. The old quarter, the three churches and the market every Wednesday.
B. RIVER COAST STRESA.
Stresa. Visit the whole city. Zoological park very friendly and interesting.
Monttarone Park. Funivia and alpina garden. Plants of the mountains and medicinal. Good walking shoes. Climb up to the summit of Monttarone.
Gignesse. On the Monttarone road. The umbrella and umbrella museum is unique in Europe.
Orta. The village and the basilica on the island.
