Great property!! Quieter part of the lake. Rented a pontoon boat and had the area practically to ourselves. Only swimming is off the dock but it’s large and the kids had a great time and all learned to jump in! Sandy area is nice too! Dining room table is huge, kitchen is great (we mostly used the upstairs kitchen) and beds are comfy. Can’t wait to go back!!

Property exceeded pictures and expectations. Host checked with us multiple times before and during our stay. When we had a question they were immediately available. The home was immaculate in appearance,order and cleanliness. It comfortably accommodated 15 people. Four adult couples had their own bedroom and bath. It is located on a quiet part of the lake. We rented a boat and the kids and grandkids tirelessly water skied and tubed with out concern of traffic and safety. The Lillypad rental available with the house was worth every penny and used full time. Was very pet friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to revisit or make a recommendation. It was very private and all came bearing food eliminating have to leave for any reason.. Herons,bald eagles and turtles were very commonly seen.

Nancy the property manager was great, she gave us a brief tour and was extremely helpful. We loved having pool, shuffleboard and bags tournaments as well as swimming off the dock. Lovely home and lots of great memories.

Spacious and relaxing.

There was plenty of room for everyone to stay and not be cramped. The dock was amazing to swim off. The drive back into town was long so made sure to get what we needed while in town. The may flies were there by the hundreds. Overall..beautiful place with plenty to do!

What an amazing house! We have 7 kids, their spouses, and 9 grandkids and this house was perfect for us. So clean, large property, and right on the lake. Even better than the pictures! Thanks for an amazing week and we would definitely stay here again!

Weekend with friends.

This place is incredible! Luxurious and spacious accommodations, scenic and private on a quiet section of the lake. Lots of wildlife. The beach campfire was wonderful. We ate like royalty, and had plenty of room to cook and clean. Everyone had a blast, even the dogs! Thank you Millie’s, we will be back again!

Millie’s wonderful retreat

There were around 22 of us from 3 different states that met at Millie’s for our family Thanksgiving. This is the perfect set up for large groups. The kids and adults loved playing pool and shuffleboard!! Beautiful setting and the fire pit was wonderful. There is a pantry with griddles, crockpots, and large cooking pots that came in very handy. Thanks for making it a wonderful place to stay!!

Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The house was clean and everything was in good working order. The house was well stocked. The beds were comfortable. Millie’s Getaway was the perfect spot for our family vacation to the Lake of the Ozarks! The house offered a beautiful view from both the deck and indoor spaces, and it was clean, spacious, and comfortably accommodated our entire group. We especially appreciated that each bedroom had its own attached bathroom, which made things easy for everyone.The check-in process was smooth, and the property manager was friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The dock and boat slips were great, and the kids had a blast swimming and fishing right off the dock. We also enjoyed using the kayaks and making the most of the outdoor areas for relaxing and spending time together.

What makes Millie’s Getaway special to me is the way it brings people together. It’s not just a place to stay — it’s a space where families reconnect, friends laugh late into the night, and memories are made that last for years. The home was designed with gatherings in mind, from the two full kitchens and spacious common areas to the multiple bedrooms that make it easy for large groups to stay comfortably under one roof.

I also think the location sets it apart. Nestled in a peaceful nook on the main channel, the setting is both quiet and scenic — perfect for morning coffee by the water or a full day out on the lake. Having a private dock with boat slips and jet ski lifts makes getting on the water incredibly convenient, which I know guests really appreciate.
