Assisi Villa R&R 1 B/room with optional 2nd B/room

Villa R&R is a stand alone 2 bedroomed villa tucked away from view, offering complete and total privacy and invisibility on 2000 square metres of olives, vines and other vegetation. It offers one of the most spectacular views over the Umbrian valley. Typically the house is rented for 2 people on the basis of the main house. i.e. Bedroom 1(including ensuite) /Living/Kitchen/Dining & Laundry. Extra (max 2) guests can be accommodated in the 2nd bedroom (independent entrance) complete with TV, Aircon & Ensuite for an extra €20 per person per night (maximum 2).

The property does not have a reception, so it is required to send a copy of the ID by email before check-in.

THE SPACE:
BEDROOM 1... comfort and productivity characterise this room. The room is air-conditioned and its air-flow reaches the living/dining area as well. All windows have screens, so you can listen to the birds and enjoy the fresh air, day or night, without being bothered by insects. If you come in winter, be assured you will be warm. The house is well heated, with comfortable and even-heated radiators throughout. There is also a fire-place in the living room.

Queen bed or 2 x singles if you prefer. The room also features a work-desk that faces the verdant olive grove. Any writing project receives special inspiration here. The room further features an additional sitting corner. The versatile and flexible furniture arrangement allows you to adapt it to your needs for maximal enjoyment. The ensuite and wardrobe completes this delightful space.

BEDROOM 2 at an "extra guests' price, this room is part of the house but has its own entrance. It features 1 x sofa bed. It offers maximal privacy, and its own bathroom furnished to a high standard. This room has a TV (Italian) and has its own air conditioner for your comfort.....This room is ideal for a couple or grown up children. (Villa R&R is not recommended for families with younger children, both in terms of ambience and due to the fact that this bedroom is reached through an outdoor passage.

KITCHEN...a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher, oven, cook top and microwave ensures that you will have everything you need to cater if you decide to 'stay in'.

LAUNDRY.....A seperate laundry complete with washing machine, laundry tub, ironing board and iron is a welcome boon to the traveler. Plus an added feature an extra toilet & bidet.

GUEST ACCESS......When staying at Villa R&R you are free to use the complete property. The rooftop terrace complete with BBQ, the Garden and Olive Grove... The open spaces of Villa R&R are manifold. Sit under the vines facing Mount Subasio. Sit in the side garden facing the Umbrian Valley. Sit in the midst of the olive grove, enjoying the shade and intimacy of the ancient trees. Take the comfortable lounge chairs to a point of your choice in the garden or place of any of several sitting options in any position within the huge private property for the duration of your stay.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD......Viole di Assisi (also known as San Vitale) is a charming village on the slopes of the famous Mt. Subasio, Just 4 minutes drive from Assisi. Following the footsteps of St. Francis of Assisi, you can wander the many trails, visit the many churches and enjoy the ambiance of this gentle place. Most people prefer to have a car, but there is a local bus which travels regularly to Assisi.

The village (just a 10 minute walk) provides all that you could want in terms of supermarkets, bar, restaurants, post office etc.

The property is ideally situated to visit the many charming hilltop villages of Umbria. Perugia, Assisi, Spello, Bevagna, Trevi and Montefalco are all within easy driving distance.....VILLA R&R - the perfect place for your Umbrian holiday.
