Family weekend

Property was secure and safe. Check in was a breeze. The extra parking lot was perfect for our 2 vehicles. We enjoyed the beach daily, used the pool one day which was crowded, and was located right next to the condo. We had an amusing time trying to make milkshakes and lots of fun memories where had by all.

This condo was beautiful and well maintained. It was roomy and convenient to pool but still very quiet with no noise from pool area. The short walk to the beach was not a problem at all. This was a perfect getaway to the beach for the first time with our granddaughters. We all enjoyed it.

One of the best condos/properties we have stayed in the gulf! Plenty of room for our family of 7. Condo was clean throughout! Showers were hot, and pressure was nice. Beds were super comfy! Temperature in the condo was pleasant as well! Very well stocked, and everything worked just fine! We loved having the pool right outside, and the ocean and view right across the street! Thank you Susie for sharing your home with us! We will definitely return!!

Calm & Relaxing

My wife and I were joined by our 39 daughter, our 13 year old grand son and his 14 year old friend. The boys surf fished the every morning and evening tge whole week and had a blast. We were able to keep track off them from the balcony. During the middle of the day, they would come back to the room for lunch and to relax in the pool. We enjoyed quiet walks on the beach and gorgeous views. We prefer this to the hectic crowded beaches further west. Fabulous place to stay.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had such a great stay at the Summerhouse condo. It was perfect for our family. We had two sons and their families with us. There were 6 adults and 3 grandsons 5, 4 and 1 years of age. Each family had their own bedroom and private bath. We LOVED being beside the pool. It was so convenient with the grandchildren. The view of the ocean was beautiful and it is an easy walk to the beach. The Infinitely game board kept children and adults entertained. Susie at Clements Family Vacation Rentals was very accommodating and always replied to emails and test immediately. We will definitely be starting with them again. (We will be checking out their mountain rentals as well.)

This is our 4 th year to stay at Mexico Beach and our second year staying in a Susie Clements property. Our stay at Summerhouse has been fabulous. The condo is tastefully decorated in beach decor and is well appointed. It feels like a home away from home. The beds were comfy with nice linens. The pool is adjacent to the unit which was a plus and the sandy beaches just across the street ( 2 min walk). During our stay we had a problem with the refrigerator. One text to Susie and we had a repair man there in less than an hour. There were no other problems or negatives with our stay. We plan to return as soon as we can.

The Lost Beach

The property was a very nice place for us. The unit was very spacious, and it accommdated all of us sans issue. The game table was an excellent amenity along with the bicycles and the 2 chairs with umbrella on the beach for daily use. I think that was one of the best parts because it cut down on what we had to carry to the beach. It was an invaluable perk! The close proximity the pool was worth its weight in gold, and I couldn't believe how quiet the entire place was despite being filled with guests and people. It was such a great place for our 1st visit to the lost beach! We will come back, and we will stay in this rental again. The only recommendation I'd make is that there be more silverware, dishes for eating on, and more storage container options. Even if only the cheap storage containers. This helps guests store leftovers from the meals we prepare and it provides something to take watermelon to the beach in ;) The silverware would run out quickly for our crowd, so just need a little more of that on hand. Those are little tidbits that just make for icing on the cake of an already decadent vacation rental and stay! We loved the unit and all amenities that came with our stay. We enjoyed Mexico Beach and look forward to our next stay! Thank you for the opportunity to be part of your home away from home!

Fantastic! Convenient and Relaxing

This is a great unit, particularly if you are looking for an easy and relaxing kind of vacation. Mexico Beach itself is low-key, friendly, and with beaches as beautiful as any you'll see in North Florida. The unit itself is wonderfully decorated, well-equipped and maintained, and great for a family. The direct access to the (heated) pool is unbeatable, particularly if a family member has mobility issues (as was the case for our visit this time). The wheelchair could go right out onto the balcony and out to the pool.The beach is right across the street, with the beach access ramp right there (and no stairs to get down to the beach). Worked well with a beach wheelchair. It was quiet and very comfortable for the whole family. Centrally located to walk to food and coffee in either direction. Great owner. Overall a great place on a great beach. I could go on, but I hesitate to say too much more for fear that it will be harder to book this unit next time we go on vacation.

This place is wonderful!

The condo is beautiful and is in a great location. You will not be disappointed with the accommodations at Summerhouse. The layout is good and very spacious. This place had everything we needed and more. We had an amazing vacation, and we hope to stay here again in the future.

Randy had years of experience running a general contractor business before selling it in 2021. Susie, his wife, has a background in property management. Together, they have blended their skills to create stunning rentals that are second to none.

With a child who cannot walk or talk, they understand the challenges of finding accommodations that are both comfortable and accessible. That's why they go above and beyond to ensure that each unit is designed to meet the needs of all guests, regardless of their abilities.

Their first rentals were located in the tranquil town of Mexico Beach, Florida, but they soon expanded to include a mountain retreat in Blue Ridge/Ellijay, Georgia, as well as a few local short-term rentals in Alabama. By the end of 2022, they had a portfolio of four stunning beach condos, a mountain creekside retreat, and several Alabama rentals.

The Clements family remains grounded and focused on providing exceptional service to each and every guest.
