Lovely La Zubia

The apartment and it’s owner, Danilo, certainly lived up to the reviews on this site. After a late night drive from Malaga airport, check in was really easy and the apartment was clean, quiet and yes, did have a very comfortable bed! If you want the bus into Granada, very easy. We had a hire car and drove in most days, parking at Palacios des Congresos or the Alhambra, both easy and well priced., although our GPS had fun with getting as back to the apartment! Late September is lovely time to be in this great city and Danilo’s apartment the perfect place to stay.

The perfect place to stay

Daniel’s place was warm & cozy and exceed our expectations. The apartment was supplied with everything you could possibly need. It was easy to find street parking. The location was perfect for driving to the Alhambra in under 30 mins & for taking a bus into Granada. We would definitely stay here again.

Es ist eine wunderbare Wohnung in hervorragender Lage. Granada ist mit dem Bus in kurzer Zeit erreichbar. In die Berge kann man von der Wohnung aus laufen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Wir wurden bei der Anreise sehr freundlich von Daniel begrüßt, der uns die Wohnung gezeigt hat. Alles war gut abgesprochen und unkompliziert. In der Wohnung fehlt es an nichts, vor allem die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Nous avons apprécié la taille de l'appartement, son équipement très complet (chaine bluetooth, tout le matériel en cuisine, ...), le confort de la chambre, les nombreuses fenêtres, le fait que l'appartement soit à quelques km de Grenade dans une ville calme dont le centre peut être facilement rejoint à pieds. Il faut savoir que Grenade et l'Alhambra sont à 10' - 15' en voiture.

Excellent host and apartment - very convenient for Alhambra.

This flat exceeded our expectations in terms of having all the comforts of home. The proximity to the Alhambra -if you have a car- is great and having seen how tricky driving and parking in Granada can be, we were delighted to be outside the city. La zubia is a nice small town and we never had a problem with parking there. The flat was lovely and cozy and ideal for our stay in November and the views of the snow capped Sierra Nevada were impressive.

We stayed in this apartment in suburb of Granada so we could be close to Alhambra. Taxi from apartment to front gate of Alhambra cost 15 euros. Apartment is bright, very clean and modern. Master bedroom with large (king?) bed for 2. Comfortable pull out bed and couch in living room for 2 more. Heated floors appreciated in November. Chromecast system allows you to play your personal content on TV. Kitchen with coffee, tea, breakfast snacks. Owner is kind, honest, helpful. Unusual high value.

Lovely well maintained property

Well equipped apartment in La Zubia, with lift to second floor so easily accessible for most disabled people. 20 minutes bus ride to Granada. Very warm welcome from Daniel the owner, he left some groceries including some home made delicious yoghurts. The views from the apartment are stunning. Air conditioning worked a treat as it was very hot. Nice warm and modern apartment tastefully decorated. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area. Gracias Daniel por su amabilidad, su apartamento estupendo, nuestra estancia un placer. Saludos.

Un très bel appartement et un hôte très attentionné

Merci à Daniel pour son accueil chaleureux et toutes les petites attentions dont est doté son appartement : Yaourts maison ( délicieux ! ), fruits et jus de fruit dans le frigo, réserve de pain au congélateur et viennoiseries pour le petit déjeuner, sans parler des fonds de placard très utiles : huile d'olive, miel, herbes aromatiques, café etc... On se sent très vite chez soi ! L'immeuble est situé dans un quartier de petites rues, très calme et on peut y stationner sans problème. Il y a un supermarché et une boulangerie au bas de la rue et d'autres commerces ainsi que des bars et des restaurants à proximité. L'arrêt de bus pour Grenade est à 3 mn à pied et on y est en 25 mn maximum ( prendre soin de consulter les horaires de bus sur Internet, surtout le week end ). La Sierra Nevada est à quelques km et il y a de très belles randos à faire à Monachil. Bref, nous garderons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour à La Zubia !

Daniel was an exceptional host! He met us at the apartment and provided us with maps ,pamphlets of the area and also food for breakfast, which we greatly appreciated. His cosy and well decorated apartment was immaculate! The linen and towels were of high quality and the bed was so comfortable.
