Ideal cottage for a family gathering. Children loved playing in the garden and watching the horse in the field. Had a well equipped kitchen and family sized dining table. Would have preferred separate chairs to bench but sat 10 easily.
A lovely farmhouse in a great location, surrounded by fields but very close to amenities for all ages to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the large kitchen with its view of the garden and the horses in the next field.
Attractive and well appointed cottage with huge kitchen perfect for socialising. Pretty rural views from all windows. Lots of birds and beautiful misty mornings. Pleasant walk to shop, pub and duck pond. Less than 10 mins
taxi from Great Malvern station
A great spacious home for friends and family to stay, relax and entertain. What I loved most about the place was watching the horses graze as we ate our our meals in the kitchen. The house had the most spectacular views too.
Thank to both Dugald and Simon for being ever so gracious.
My friends and I booked this property for 2 nights, to celebrate a 40th birthday. From when we made the booking to leaving the property everything was so straight forward. Both the owner and the caretaker we so friendly and helpful on every communication we had.
The house itself is beautiful. Gorgeous huge kitchen, nice cosy lounge and comfortable beds. The house had everything you need and more.
The gardens and surrounding areas are amazing, beautiful views.
We went into Worcester for a night out, it was only 15 minutes away. There are also more local pubs.
I really can’t recommend this place enough. We will be looking to book there again at some point.

The perfect holiday retreat
Tickeridge Farm is a delightful holiday home. We had a girls reunion & found the accomodation perfect for our needs. The spacious kitchen diner, with excellent facilities allowed us to socialise together for breakfast & evening meal. There wasn't anything missing from the kitchen that we wished we'd brought from home! It was spotless & I must say for 9 ladies & two bathrooms, plenty of hot water for the power showers!
From enquiring about this property to returning home, Dugald, the owner has been so attentive & helpful.
The only negative was the weather which meant we couldn't sip our Pimms in the pretty garden.
We shall be returning again next year for another fun weekend.
Many thanks Dugald.
We stayed 3 nights whilst working at nearby event, the cottage was the perfect base for us. Lovely big kitchen with room for us to eat together. Garden and house immaculate would definitely recommend.
I spent an absolutely gorgeous weekend catching up with 6 old friends at Tickeridge Farm.
Everything was great. The property was spotless , the bedrooms were lovely - special shout out for the excellent quality bedding which felt like a luxury hotel.
It’s really well appointed and the huge kitchen table is glorious to spend hours around chatting, eating and drinking.
We had a bbq and we’re able to play croquet while the burgers were cooking. It’s just all so idyllic.
We visited the Swan pub which is about a 15min walk and had a lovely meal there too.
We also rented a boat from Upton marina and cruised the river Severn for a few hours.
Can’t recommend this place enough as the perfect getaway - as a base for exploring nearby - or just relaxing and staying put because it has everything you need.
Fantastic house, set in beautiful surroundings but near to amenities. The host was fantastic, flexible and extremely understanding,we had to postpone twice due to covid. Perfect place for 5 adults, 4 children and 3 generations of our family to get together. Will definitely revisit. Thank you
Our group of 10 early 30's friends had a fantastic 5 nights at Hanley Castle.
Communication and the check in process was smooth. The kitchen was was well stocked with cooking utensils and staples. The kitchen and living areas were very spacious and cosy, especially with the fire going (plenty of wood on offer).
The bedrooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were great, with two baths and a supply of body wash.
We enjoyed some country walks, with a number of pubs within walking distance.
Overall, we couldn't fault the stay, and enjoyed spending some peaceful days and nights in the countryside.
We had an excellent stay at the Farm house. This is a wonderful location, with lots of opportunities to enjoy the sweeping meadows and nearby Swan Pub. The farmhouse is beautiful, cosey and has old charm. The perfect getaway to enjoy with friends and family. Thank you again for a lovely stay!!
The accommodation was great for 6 adults and 4 children. Clean, spacious and extremely well-equipped. Farm land all round and a secure garden for children. Both Dugald (owner) and Simon (who lives just down the road) were very pleasant and helpful. Had a power cut whilst there due to Storm Arwen, but house had a plentiful supply of candles, a barbecue and woodburners. Simon was on hand to come and check we were OK. Would certainly recommend .
Tickeridge farm was perfect for seeing the extended family after such a long time. Very clean, loads of character and plenty of space inside and out for kids. It had everything we needed including a decent BBQ. Many thanks,
We had a lovely weekend at Tickeridge Farm. It was the perfect location for our needs.
The house is very well equipped with all the cooking utensils you could possibly need. It’s a very quaint building with lots of original features.
We hope to stay again next year.
We had a lovely christmas week at Tickeridge Farm, Dugald was a very gracious host and made it very festive with a tree and bubbly! Thanks for everything definitely recommend this house has lots of character, upgrades and plenty of space for a larger group. Regards
We all had a fab time. House was quirky and we loved it. There were 9 adults and plenty of room - kitchen great size. We've stayed in a variety of properties previously, but this felt homely and all want to return next year!
Thanks for making a 50th special!
This is the second time we have stayed at Tickeridge Farm for a family celebration. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and has lots of charm. The gardens and grounds are beautiful and the children loved playing outside. The location is great - it is an easy walk to the local pub for a nice meal and not far to drive to enjoy a walk on the Malverns. We would love to stay again.
