The house is surrounded by the family orchard, and in its yard there is a barbeque with alfresco dining facilities. Its location is ideal for those who enjoy outdoors activities and proximity to nature, just 1km away from Skopelos town. Hikers will find Casa d’ Irene ideal for excursions, as it is close to a number of hiking trails, leading towards the Byzantine monasteries of Palouki mountain, as well as Velanio beach and Stafylos beach. Stafylos beach is only 2,5km away through a pleasant countryside path, or 4km via the main road (less than 5min by car). A super market is conveniently located 1km away.
Casa d’ Irene has spectacular views towards Palouki mountain. The flat is cool in summer and warm in winter due to its traditional architecture. In the living room of the flat a traditional carved sofa can sleep one extra person. Unlike other traditional Skopelos houses, Casa d’ Irene is a ground floor flat with a single step only, making it suitable for people with limited mobility. Its kitchen is fully equipped (full size fridge, stove, coffee machine, kettle, pans, cutlery and crockery) and all windows have mosquito nets. Bedlinen and towels are provided and changed weekly.

Είναι ιδανικό για ανθρώπους που δεν προτιμούν τις σκάλες και θέλουν να έχουν άμεση σχέση με τη φύση. Η θέα του προς το βουνό και όλη η φύση είναι μαγευτική. Έχει ανατολικό προσανατολισμό με άπλετο φως να το λούζει το πρωί και δροσιά το απόγευμα. Απέχει από το λιμάνι, την πόλη και το Κέντρο Υγείας 2 Km. Η παραλία του Σταφύλου απέχει από χωματόδρομο κατάλληλο για περίπατο 2,5 Km, ενώ από την άσφαλτο 4 Km.

Η απόλυτη χαλάρωση στην φύση

Οι οικοδέσποτες ήταν τρομερά ευγενικοί, μας υποδέχτηκαν στο λιμάνι και μας διευκόλυναν κάθε μέρα σε ότι χρειάστηκε. Το σπίτι ήταν ήσυχο, πεντακάθαρο, βολικό, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και δροσερό. Ο περιβάλλον χώρος ήταν πανέμορφος με πολλά δέντρα και όλα τα σημεία του γεμάτα με φυτά και γλάστρες περιποιημένα με πολύ αγάπη και μεράκι. Ευχαριστούμε για τις καταπληκτικες ημέρες και εις το επανειδιν.

Peaceful countryside villa

Eleni's villa is located in a peaceful countryside, but few hundreds of meters away from a road with a big supermarket and a gas station. The house was vry clean and is composed by two large bedrooms with comfortable beds, and an open kitchen (fully furnished)/living room. There is also a nice garden/patio with a large table. The house is quite fresh at night, even without airconditioning. Eleni is very nice and gave us home made oil and marmalade from its property. We spent a very nice time at her place!

Really beautiful cottage in idyllic, peaceful setting

A really special find. Such a lovely cottage in a great setting. Immersed in beautiful countryside, yet easily accessible to Skopelos town. We received a lovely warm welcome from Eleni with delicious gifts from her orchard & olive groves. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean and it felt just like home. We drifted off to sleep each night to the call of the little Scops owl in the olive grove. And we were visited on our first morning by a little friendly tortoise! A really special place, thank you.

Prima Häuschen ausserhalb des Orts mit privater Terrasse zum Olivenhain, komplett ausgestattet mit Kueche. Sehr nette Gastgeber, die im angrenzenden Haus leben. Lage ideal, um die Ruhe des Insellebens zu geniessen, Stafilos Strand ist ebenso wie Skopelos Stadt mit einem Spaziergang zu erreichen, nach Skopelos leider teils entlang der Hauptstrasse.

A simple little house in a peaceful countryside location yet in walking distance of Skopelos town

We enjoyed our stay in Casa d' Irene. Irene and her family were very welcoming and the house was simply furnished with comfortable beds and was very clean. Although the house is a wing of the owner's larger house it felt completely private with a lovely area to the side with table and chairs where you can eat and enjoy the beautiful garden.
