We liked everything about the cottage - the cleanliness, comfort and superb surroundings. It was very well appointed and comfortable and we loved being there. Our only issues were the staircases which had no handrail which we found a bit difficult.

Charming With Minor Irritations
Little Wells Cottage is ideal for an out of season break with an efficient open fire and comfortable sitting room furniture.
Without wishing to be too negative, there are a few irritations that can be easily addressed. We had the first full week of British Summer time but the thermostat heating controls had not been changed, which created cool mornings. One of the rings on the hob isn't working correctly (front left) and needs attention. The paperwork said that a starter pack for the fire would be provided. It wasn't finally the refuse bin in the kitchen was pathetically small. Please replace with a decent sized one!
It's a personal thing perhaps, but the cutlery provided is cheap and childlike in size. Decent cutlery is available for little cost. Please replace.
As I say irritations that are easily fixed but worth mentioning for future guests.

Great time ,lots of wildlife. Cottage very comfortable with every thing you need for a weeks break
Had a lovely week with lots of walk s with dog but unfortunately we could not find the box file that detailed the walks around the area . Also we unfortunately forgot our milk which has always been supplied in welcome pack so we then had to get back in the car to find a shop. Other than that we had a wonderful relaxing break .

Beautifully cosy cottage
Lovely warm comfortable cottage. Great location for beach trips. Home from home. Stairs very steep and various floor levels which didn’t affect us but might someone less mobile. Wonderful countryside but would be good to have small fenced area for dogs to let them out at night. Take a torch. All in all a beautiful cosy cottage.

Hideaway but not remote
I'd been looking for a remote location to get away from it all and booked Little Wells.
I'm glad I did as although it is not "remote" it feels as though it is. With a field on two sides and small country road in front (house is set back) and a neighbor whom you can only see the roof of their house whilst in the back garden, it felt lovely and secluded.
However, its a short drive to the coast with great scenery and ample opportunity to walk, bird and people watch.
If you prefer to go inland I would definitely recommend Holt!
Little Wells is not suitable for the infirm as there are many steps throughout the accommodation e.g. step up to the dining room and again to the living area and steep steps to the bedrooms but it was not a problem for either me or my husband. There is, however, an annex of sorts on the ground floor (separate entrance) so this is a great addition should you need it. I'm not sure if it is en-suite as we did not investigate.
The information on site regarding the surrounding area is good and the furnishings comfortable. It was lovely being in a traditional cottage and the gardens are lovely both back and front (especially back). Next time I will make a point of picking some of the lovely apples from the garden trees. I don't know time just seems to pass very quickly. I'd intended doing far more than I actually did.
We popped in on the local pub one evening (walking distance but take a touch) and the landlord made us very welcome and talked passionately about the area.
Would I stay there again? Yes definitely and would, therefore, recommend it. Only thing I'd change is the length of stay. I'd love to have stayed longer than our measly week.

Family holiday at Little Wells
Lovely cottage, ideally situated for North Norfolk beaches. The cottage was reasonably well equiped, however the showers we're still not working (despite comments in visitors book to the contrary). Also as we were blessed with wonderful weather, one deck chair between 6 guests was a problem!

great product
An excellent cottage full of character. Some of the information regarding local facilities could do with updating regularly e.g the guide folder recommended The Jolly Farmer in the village but we found the hours of opening quite restricted and never found it open yet! However very nicely situated and ideal for our party of 4 adults,2 children and 2 dogs

A delightful rustic cottage in a gorgeous country setting.
This is a delightful characterful cottage with many personal touches - rustic in style and we love it for that. The country setting surrounded by fields and the garden are what sold it to us. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are tables for outside eating at both the back and the front of the property The only negatives were no wifi, the towels are too small and It is not sound proof between the bedrooms. But given the tranquil over all vibe these can be forgiven

Dog friendly character cottage in rural setting
Fourth visit - so we obviously like it. Old detached cottage with lots of character and garden all round - though not dog proof. Sited on the edge of the village and well placed for North Coast (Holkham, Wells, Old Hunstanton), local attractions (Sandringham, Pensthorpe, Sheringham, Holkham House, Houghton) and interesting towns (Holt, Burnham Market). Definitely a rural retreat for those who like the quiet life.
Three gripes. There was a serious ant problem in the kitchen. The towels need replacing - bath size would be an improvement. One of the showers was not working properly - this had been reported by the previous guests!

Rural retreat
Comfortable cottage (with use of Annexe) provided plenty of space for 4 adults, one child and 2 dogs. Plenty of wild life including two ponies at the bottom of the large (unfenced) garden. Excellent location for all major attractions on the North Norfolk Coast with Creake Abbey and deli/cafe within walking distance

Quiet part of Norfolk. The house was roomy and had a lovely garden. It was near enough to the coast with the Burnhams for shopping. Bought on and Holkhams halls well worth visiting

Little Wells
A great week in a lovely cottage. It had all the amenities needed, it was warm and comfortable and in a great location. The only issue we had was the water flow in the showers, which was limited. A bit of a descale of the shower heads would help a lot.

Great winter break
Really enjoyed our stay at Little Wells. Plenty of room nice and warm and so quiet. Well equipped though skimpy on towels! and Good position for all our trips to the coast birdwatching. Liked the fire and the wooden floors and not having to stress about messing up carpets! Only downside....no internet and mobile coverage inside patchy at best (Though fine sitting outside in the car!). We appreciated the quick response when the boiler broke down they sent someone within a couple of hours. We're already wondering when we could go again.

Country cottage in super setting
Our third visit to Little Wells. We hope to visit again next year. Lovely, characterful cottage with spacious garden - only downside being that it isn't dog proof (but we were told this). Excellent location on the edge of the village surrounded by countryside. The surrounding area has plenty of places to visit. Wells, Holt and Burnham Market have some interesting and individual shops. The north Norfolk beaches are fantastic, especially Holkham. There are many excellent walks for the dogs, both beach and countryside - and the area is generally dog friendly.

A peaceful location
A charming country cottage in a great location however if your permanent home has been a bungalow for a number of years
then be aware the cottage has two steep and winding staircases. In addition the ground floor has a number of
different levels between the rooms.
Overall a homely and well stocked cottage with a lovely garden.
