Holidays between Lake Geneva and the mountains

Located in a quiet mountain village on the Gavot plateau and at the entrance to the Abondance valley, the apartment is on the ground floor of our house.
This old farmhouse from 1832 faces south. From the apartment, in any season, you will have a superb view of the valley and the mountain.
The house is located in the heart of the Chablais Geopark. It presents and explains the geological attractions of the region. http: // www. geopark chablais. com /
You will have a living room with fully equipped kitchen. A spacious bedroom with a double bed, the second bedroom with two pull-out beds and the sofa bed in the main room can accommodate 5 people. The bathroom with wc has a walk-in shower. You will have a comfortable stay thanks to the 60m² of the apartment, its terrace and access to the garden.
In the village you will find all the amenities: supermarket, doctors, dentist, garage owners, postal agency.
By car you will be 5 minutes from the stations of Bernex and Thollon, 15 minutes from Abondance, 30 minutes from Chatel and for the view and relaxation 20 minutes from Lake Geneva. Geneva and its airport are 1 hour away.
In summer you can practice mountain hiking (the GR5 passes in front of the house), mountain biking, canionning, and for the more daring, paragliding, sailing, horse riding, many other activities and also lazing around.
Our apartment benefits from the Clévacances label with the comfort level 3 keys.
If you do not wish to do the cleaning at the end of the stay, we can take care of it for 60 €.

wir waren für 6 Nächte da. Hatten eine wunder volle Zeit. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit trotz großer Sprachprobleme. Die Wohnung ist genau wie auf den Bildern, Küche voll funktionsfähig und Gut ausgestattet. Wurden mit frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten verwöhnt. Der Blick auf die Berge ist einfach wundervoll. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Nos vacances entre lac et montagne

Nos vacances se sont bien déroulées, le gîte est confortable, propre, et bien équipé cuisine complète avec lave vaisselle et lave linge dans la salle de bain. Parfait pour un court ou long séjour. Grande surface, boulangerie, fromager à 5 minutes en voiture. Hôtes accueillants et serviables.

Idéal pour des vacances estivales entre lac Leman et montagne

Vue magnifique de la terrasse , propriétaires charmants , appartement très agréable à vivre . Idéal pour nous et nos 2 adolescents qui voulions passer des vacances au calme tout en profitant des joies de la région ( rando , hydrospeed, tyrolienne, plages etc …) entre Abondance et Evian !!

Idéal avec de jeunes enfants

Nous avons séjourné dans ce gite une semaine. La spacieuse pièce de vie et les deux chambres bien isolées sont de réels atouts quand on voyage avec deux petites canailles de 3 ans et 6ans. A proximité de commerces, du lac Léman et de la vallée d'Abondance, la situation est idéale pour des vacances alliant les plaisirs de la montagne et ceux de la plaine (vélo sur les bords du Lac Léman). L'accueil des propriétaires est très chaleureux et tout est fait pour que le séjour se passe au mieux. A recommander sans hésitation !

Urlaub Genfersee - Lac Léman

Wir - Ehepaar mit 16-jähriger Tochter - waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Die Angaben im Katalog treffen zu. Die gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung ist sauber und gemütlich, der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge grandios. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und nicht aufdringlich. Verständigung in Englisch klappt, wir haben uns jedoch vorrangig auf unsere - leider nur mittelmäßigen - Französisch-Kenntnisse gestützt. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung. Gerade wenn man sich auch im Urlaub selbst etwas zubereiten möchte, ist so eine tolle Küche natürlich wichtig. Ein großer Supermarkt - Super U - ist nicht weit weg. Ausflüge haben wir zu den Kurorten Évian-les-Bains, Thonon-les-Bains, in das mittelalterliche Städtchen Yvoire - eine Touristenattraktion, nach Montreux - mit Bergbahn- Ausflug zum Gebirge Rochers de Naye mit den niedlichen Murmeltieren sowie nach Lausanne mit mehrstündigem Besuch des Olympischen Museums (franz. Musée olympique). Das Museum ist großartig - nicht nur für Sportfans ein Erlebnis. Den Mont Blanc haben wir in der einen Woche Aufenthalt nicht geschafft. Vielleicht das nächste Mal. Das Feriendomizil können wir empfehlen.

Sehr schön

Die Fewo ist sehr schön, sehr geschmackvoll und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche umfasste alles was sich eine Köchin wünscht. Die Vermieter waren ausgesprochen nett, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Lage für Ausflüge ist gut, aber man muss fast immer mindestens 20-30 min mit dem Auto fahren, speziell an den Genfer See. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Nous avons été bien reçu par Mr et Mme Barat dés notre arrivée. L'appartement correspondait bien à nos attente ; très propre, spacieux, lumineux avec une magnifique vue sur la montagne, un total dépaysement. A proximité des commerces à une minute de là en voiture. Bons conseils des propriétaires concernant les lieux a visiter, des activités et des attractions a faire.

Idéal

Idéal pour 4 personnes, nous avons séjourné ici une semaine avec notre fille de deux ans. La location est très bien équipée avec des équipements ménagers neufs. La literie était de bonne qualité et la pièce à vivre de grande taille est un atout important. Vinzier est bien situé entre le lac et les premières stations de ski. Mais au-delà de ces aspects matériels, le point fort de la location est sans doit ses propriétaires! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié leurs conseils de balade et pour les achats de produits locaux! Merci encore à eux pour les légumes du jardins et leur accueil tout à fait prévenant.

Appartement très agréable et terrasse avec vue

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce gîte admirablement rénové avec des matériaux de qualité, et décoré avec soin. Les propriétaires qui habitent juste au-dessus, sont particulièrement accueillants et disponibles. En été, si le potager fournit suffisamment, vous pouvez même vous voir offrir des légumes du jardin ! Enfin, la terrasse bénéficiant d’une belle vue plongeante sur la vallée permet de se reposer agréablement après une journée de randonnée.

Gite très agréable, bien équipé et très fonctionnel. La vue est magnifique depuis la terrasse. Très bon compromis entre l'affluence des stations de ski à quelques km de là, et le calme de ce petit village. Nous avons beaucoup profité de la piste de luge à l'entrée d'Abondance grâce à la luge prêtée par nos hôtes. Très bon accueil des propriétaires. Un plus pourrait être que le linge de lit et de bain soit compris dans la location...

Gîte de qualité

Nous avons passé deux semaines formidables dans ce gîte proposant un excellent niveau de prestations ! La pièce principale est très spacieuse avec sa cuisine ouverte, la grande terrasse offre une vue très agréable ... Rien à dire côté équipements (lave vaisselle, lave linge, cuisinière digne de ce nom) et la literie est très bonne. Déco agréable et chaleureuse. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil des propriétaires et leur disponibilité. Martin (20 mois) a profité des équipements bébé mis à sa disposition (chaise haute, matelas à langer, lit ... avec tour de lit !) ; il a en outre adoré les chats, et les poissons !

Ankommen, wohl fühlen, Urlaub haben!

Wir waren im Spätsommer als zwei befreundete Paare hier. Diese Wohnung bietet genügend Platz, ist sehr stilvoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und so perfekt gepflegt, dass alles wie neu wirkt. Der Blick von der Terasse bietet nicht nur einen wundervoll blühenden Garten, sondern auch ein phantastisches Bergpanorama. Ankommen und Urlaub haben, sich gleich zuhause fühlen! Die Betten waren bequem und ebenfalls sauber und gepflegt. Kleine Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, volles Haushaltsgeschirr, schnelles Wlan, Satelliten-TV und Grill runden das Ausstattungspaket ab. Eine zweisprachige Hausbroschüre (deutsch und französisch) mit Bedienungsanleitungen und Wissenswertes zum Haus und der Umgebung (z.B. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Wochenmärkte, Ärzte, KFZ-Werkstätten) erleichtern das Zurechtfinden. Die Vermieter leben oben im Haus. Sie sind sehr angenehme, höflich-zuvorkommende, unaufdringliche und außerordentlich hilfsbereite Menschen. Jederzeit bei Fragen ansprechbar. Die Vermieter sprechen auch Englisch. Zwischendurch schauten auch mal die drei Katzen auf der Terasse vorbei und hießen uns willkommen. Die Region bietet im Sommer Outdoor-Aktivitäten wie Wandern, Klettern, Fahrrad, Wassersport direkt vor der Haustür oder dirketen Umgebung. In der weiteren Umgebung gibt es auch wunderbare Motorradstrecken für kleine und größere Tagestouren: z.B. am Salève bei Genf, wo auch eine Seilbahn hochführt, und man eine phantastische Weitsicht über Genf und den Genfer See hat. Oder Richtung Süden fahren über das Plateau de Glières, wo es auch politische Dimensionen zu entdecken gibt (Widerstand der Resitance im 2. WK). Für Stadtbummler und Kultursuchende sind Genf und andere Städte am Genfer See mit dem Auto nicht weit. Man kann natürlich auch einfach zuhause die Füße hochlegen und sich bei Wein, gutem Käse aus einer der vielen Fromagerien und einem guten Buch erholen. Voici un appartement en RDC rénové parfaitement et très agréable, vous apprécierez cet endroit spacieux et fonctionnel, très propre, doté d'une literie de qualité. Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants, et vous apprécierez la jolie terrasse offrant une vue magnifique sur la montagne et la vallée. Le lieu est calme et à proximité des commodités, de la montagne et du lac léman. En conclusion, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et recommandons cette location.

Gite de caractère

Gite rez de chaussée tout confort, entièrement refait à neuf et avec goût! Les propriétaires habitent juste au dessus et sont très sympathiques. L'été la maison est bien entretenue et très fleurie! La vue (sur la vallée de chevenoz) depuis la terrasse est belle et reposante. Un peu à l'extérieur du village de Vinzier, les alentours du gîte sont très calmes. Le GR5 passe devant la maison et de nombreuses ballades sont possible dans la région. J'y suis restée 2 mois avec grand plaisir.
